Biology Text

Question Posted Friday July 29 2005, 3:10 pm

Hey, I'm taking AP Biology next school year, and the book is $92.00 in my high school office. I've searched a little bit online, but I can't find a cheaper price anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get this book cheaper? (Doesn't matter if it's new or used.) Thanks in advance, I'll rate 5's for anyone who can find something.

Try a homeschooling website, or a shop for parents that homeschool their children. They have them pretty much everywhere, and they're pretty inexpensive. And how come you have to pay for your book, anyway? At my school they just lend them out for the year.
♥ Hope I helped.

Actually, you could find someone who was in the class before and ask to buy it off them. Also, usually bookstores in the area offer it much cheaper for what the college offers and such. I get all mine from the bookstores around the area. They like to compete with eachother and such.

Hope I helped!

My sister buys her textbooks at [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) or [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) You could also check your bookstore or school to see if they have used ones. They're usually cheaper.

Since you didn't list the name of the book, it makes it a little difficult to help you find it. Here are some sites that you may be able to find it at for a lower price.

We could help you more if we knew the name of the book you were looking for. If you Google "Used text books" you will find dozens of sites that sell used books. Have you tried even amazon? They sell used books as well. You also may want to try finding someone that took the class last year and buy their book; that's how I got most of my text books in college.
