Alright, so I hate these kinds of questions. I'm not too much of a girly-girl, and I always look over these questions, but I'm stuck. I'd really appreciate it if some of you could look at this thoroughly, and then give me an appropriate response.

I'm a natural blonde with green eyes and pale skin.

I've been searching for some way to make myself stand out more. Not specifically for a lot of attention or anything, I just want to spice my look up a little bit. You know, change things.

I want to dye my hair dark. I've heard that people with pale eye-color who have dark hair have extremely noticeable eyes. Like it makes them "pop".

But I was just wondering, since I've got pale skin, would black be too much of a contrast? Should I just go for a dark brown instead? It's just that black is very permanent, considering it doesn't fade, and you can't just change it if you change your mind afterwards. You'll have to wait 'till it grows back out again to do anything to it. So that being said, I would like to know an honest opinion on the matter. I would hate to be stuck with black hair if it looks shitty on me, wouldn't you? And bleaching it back would just horribly damage it; as I just said up above, you're pretty much stuck with it once you do it.

Definitely don't dye it black. Black-dyed hair always looks super fake for whatever reason, and it'll definitely be too harsh with pale skin. If anything, go for dark brown, but keep in mind that if you have blonde eyebrows, it'll look strange.

I know this is kind of a dumb question but what do you bring to class in college? I was thinking like my computer, the textbook, a binder with some paper, a pencil, highlighter, and some pens, and a calculator for the math like classes. Do I really have to bring that much?

For the first day, just a notebook, pen or pencil, and maybe the textbook, then you'll probably figure out what you need. None of my teachers have allowed computers, though.

my close friend michael is always over my house and he had sex with a girl named raven who came down with deadly mono afterwards. he has never had mono and neither did i. do you think i could get mono from him? my sisters had it when they were little at the same time and i still never got it

You can only get it through bodily fluids, like spit, so unless you're sharing drinks or kissing, you probably won't get mono. You may have had it already anyway- a shocking amount of people have, but just thought they had some regular sickness.

what's the best tinted moisturizer that i can buy from walmart or walgreens or something? i have sensitive skin, so i don't want it to break me out.

Neutrogena. It's hypoallergenic and noncomodegenic, so it won't clog your pores and cause a reaction.

I want a new screen name for a AIM messenger account. I really like the color pink so I want to use that in my username but I can't think of a good, cute screenname. I'm kinda girly, LOVE pink, have blonde hair, really tall, play softball, 15 years old, & did I mention I LOVE PINK?! Like, the color ;) not the singer/music artist.

My boyfriend bought a box of condoms that are marked as ultra thin or whatever. I told him I won't use them because I think they probably are more likely to break and I'm not on birth control pills so we don't have a back up protection thing or whatever. He says they aren't more likely to break than like regular condoms and doesn't want to go buy more condoms.

Hey guys, I'm Laura, and I'm 17. My boyfriend is 20. We have been together for over a year now, and we have been fighting non-stop lately. We constantly are fighting over stupid stuff, nothing serious or worth fighting over at all. I try to calm him down, but he doesn't drop things until I start balling my eyes out crying, then he apologizes because he feels bad and realizes that I haven't even done anything. Often, being together around a year can be a hard time for couples. Both of you have to agree to put some major effort in. If he's picking a fight about something that doesn't matter, you need to say "Let's stop, this isn't worth fighting about." Tell him how you feel before you're crying. And sometimes, in the middle of a fight, what you really need is a breather- just for a few minutes until you're both calmed down and no one's mad, that can help a lot.
If there's something specific that keeps causing problems, then you need to work to make it not a problem anymore, of course. Try to find a pattern.
Communication, trust, and honesty are the keys to a great relationship, so you guys need to have a talk about why you're fighting and what you're both willing to do to make it stop.
Sometimes at this point you might be stuck in a rut, doing the same old things, so try doing things you guys haven't done before when you hang out.

Do something different with your hair- curled 1/2 up tends to be universally flattering. Like I said before, natural makeup is best, with a slightly defined eye.

I drink alcohol occasionally when I go out with my friends. Everyone seems to be having a great time when we're drinking except me. I always feel really, really sad. It's weird because I could be having the best day of my life but when I start to drink I really get down and low about everything. I end up crying and really ruining the mood for everyone. I have decided not to really drink any more because of this but I'm curious why it happens. Does anyone know why alcohol changes my mood?

Alcohol is categorized as a depressant drug, so it can have that effect on people, although it doesn't happen to everyone.

I had braces on for about 1 1/2 years. So, now that they're off for about 8 months, I want whiter teeth. I've tried so many different tooth pastes that say they will whiten your teeth in like 2 weeks...of course, didn't happen. I'm almost 15 and I would really like white teeth like some other teens have. I've never smoked but someone in my family does but not in the house. I know that there has to be somehow to make them look nicer. Please give me some tips to whiter teeth that you know really does work or a really good tooth brush or tooth paste! Thank you so much, you would really help! (Make sure that it is also healthy and nothing harmful).

Crest Whitestrips work pretty well, but they're about 40-50 dollars and you have to do it again every year.

I have firefox installed into my laptop but lately for the past week or so the browser hasn't been working. (I'm currently using another computer) So basically I can't use the internet at all I also can't go onto the internet to download a different browser. I have wireless connection however when I bought the laptop to my parents house whom have their own connection the browser still didn't work. I've already tried restoring the computer and I have virus protection on it and after 3 scans it said no viruses found.

Any suggestions?

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you! If it's still not working...Go the Start Menu, then Control Panel. From there, click on Add or Remove Programs, and find Firefox on that list. Click 'Remove' on it, and it should reinstall itself and start working again.

What would you say are the three biggest mistakes you made in college your freshman year?

Keeping in mind that I went to community college, not regular college...
- Skipping classes- you feel like you can, but it really gets you behind and screws you over.
- Dropping a class I thought I was gonna fail, because I ended up having to retake it and learning the same stuff over again sucked.
- Getting distracted by guy drama and letting it screw up my grades.

what are the pros and cons of birth control?

Pros:
- Reliable
- Easy to take
- Pretty much guarantees that you won't have unprotected sex
- Affordable(at places like Planned Parenthood)

Cons:
- Possible side effects (some can be positive, too, though)
- Have to take it at the same time every day (hard for some people)
- Costs more than condoms (unless you're using a lot of them)
- If you're a teenager, harder to hide from parents

If you do get on birth control, please make sure you read all the instructions that come with it, including the list of "rare but serious" side effects. I didn't, and spent about a month suffering from really bad eye pain because my pill had reshaped my corneas, making my contacts extremely painful/uncomfortable. I had to stop wearing them for a while, which really messed with my life- I have terrible vision and can't see much without them, so my work and school performance suffered. This is extremely rare and probably won't happen to you, but make sure you read it just in case- and if any of it does happen, of course seek medical help.

is cuddling with a guy friend considered cheating? no kissing, no grabbing or anything just laying next to someone basically and hugging.

I don't know if it's technically cheating, but it's certainly inappropriate and not something you should be doing if you have a boyfriend. If he did the same thing, you wouldn't be happy, right?

For an everyday scent, Victoria's Secret Vanilla Lace- vanilla is scientifically proven to turn guys on, and when I used to wear it guys would always tell me I smelled good.

For a going out perfume, Intimately Beckham is the only real perfume I've had that every guy I know loved the smell of. They sell it at drugstores.

It's definitely important to prime before doing dark eyes, Urban Decay Primer Potion and Too Faced Shadow Insurance are the best. And curling your lashes will also make a big difference.

i'm 16/f.
i've been with my current boyfriend for 7 months, and sometimes, i feel that he's too controlling. extremly controlling. and sometimes it get's out of hand. i've never really had a boyfriend, so i don't know if ALL relationships are like this, or if my boyfriend is just a jerk.he alllways ask what i'm doing. which, isnt bad, i can understand that, but he makes me tell him EVERYTHING i'm doing, and everywhere i go. he's constantly keeping tabs on me, and has even had some friends of his watch me at school to make sure i'm not flirting or talking to other guys. if i don't tell him when i leave the house to go somewhere, he gets mad, and starts a fight. if i don't tell him i'm leaving somewhere to go somewhere else, he gets mad, and if i don't tell him i'm home, he will. i can understand him wanting to know what i'm doing, so i'm safe, but i really do feel like it get's out of hand.i'm not allowed to talk to ANY guy. if i do, i have to tell him everything that was said between us. i have to tell him when and if a guy text me, and he starts asking a ton of questions when one does. i'm not allowed to text back, and if i do, it can only be about school, and i cant delete the text. i'm not even allowed to be around a guy, if one's around me, i have to move.he's always telling me what i can and cannot wear. i'm not allowed to wear shorts, or vnecks. if i ever do wear a vneck, or shorts, i have to be around him. it'll be 100 degrees out, and i can't wear shorts, he makes me wear jeans. i have to send him pictures of what i'm wearing, and if i wear something he doesnt like, he gets mad.he wont let me hang out with friends. i havent ever since we started dating, and i'm loosing touch with them. i don't really ever talk to anybody, and if i do, even if it's a girl, he ask what we talk about. if i text anybody else but him, he gets reeaallly mad.he's always talking bad about my friends, saying i shouldnt hang out with him, because their whores. i think that he get's jealous that i want something to do with somebody else besides him. he always talks about how their whores, but he's honestly done tons of worse things than them, their not even sexually active, or anything. so i really dont think he has any room to talk. if i EVER want to go out and do ANYTHING, he tells me no, and threatens to leave me if i go.if he ever gets mad at me, he calls be HORRIBLE names. and sometimes he does stuff that he knows i can get hurt by, like if we're in the car he'll slam on his brakes while i'm trying to get my seatbealt on. he tells me to look at him, and if i dont, he'll grab my face and make me. he even gets controlling about little things, he get's mad if he's not my background picture. things like that. he loves me, i can tell he really does, and he can be the biggest sweetheart sometimes, but i don't know if i'll be able to take any of this much longer. i can sometimes understand why he's like this, he's had his past 3 girlfriends cheat on him.i can go into alot more stuff, but i don't want to make this question too long. soo, are ALL relatoonships like this, or is this really unhealthy? maybe relationships just arent for me?

No, all relationships are not like that- he is extremely controlling and emotionally abusive. If he's like this after only 7 months, it's only gonna get worse.
You're 16, you should be able to wear what you want, talk to whoever you want, and have fun. A normal guy would let you do that.
Unfortunately, I can tell you from experience that guys like that do not change. You really need to get away from him before it becomes any worse.
