never overdo it. guys know when you're tying to hard. just remember the clothes you always wear, that your date is used to see you in, and dress up just a bit nicer. if you're used to wearing pants, then wear a nice fit jeans. if you like tshirt, then wear a cute frilly blouse.
but make sure it's comfortable. at all cost, avoid heels if you're not used to it. cute sandals and pumps are better. keep in mind that you want to look pretty and at ease next to him, not embarassing.

wear your favorite outfit.. one that you are comfortable in and that makes you feel great about yourself:) don't over do it though guys actually don't like girls gettin all dolled up for them.

ok im not a guy. but i can give you some advice
any date i have been on i have always taken into consideration.. where im going. what part of town im in. wholl be around. and how im getting home etc.
wear something that is comfy and that is "you". i mean a first date can be stressful enough. if the guy doesnt like you for you he not worth the bother hon.
i dont know how old you are.. but ive been told that on the underwear department that a classy and respectfull girl should wear likewise underwear (if you have intentions of "doing stuff after) something that covers ya bum. so in other words. not thong g string.unless your comfotable enough to ask the guy himself and see what he prefers. i always tal to my dates before i go on them and get an understanding and clear image of what they like image wise and stuff although tbh it doesnt really matter that much

Basically, you want to look effortlessly good and not overdone. If you could tell us what you're doing and how old you are, I'd be happy to give you an answer :)
