1. I didn't treat college like a job. A job takes about 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Including class time, one should spend 40 hours a week on one's studies - reparing for class, improving you class notes after class, reading assigned materials and related materials, etc.

2. I didn't participate enough in classes. You want your prof to kow that you are there and that you are trying. Asking questions gives ou the information you need. Sit as far front as you can.

3. I didn't try enoough new things - clubs, activities, people. I found a niche and stopped looking.

Good question!

1) B+ in Comparative Politics

2) B+ in International Relations

3) B+ in Introduction to Latin America

Don't fuck around at the beginning of the semester, you're not afforded as much leeway to bounce back.

Keeping in mind that I went to community college, not regular college...
- Skipping classes- you feel like you can, but it really gets you behind and screws you over.
- Dropping a class I thought I was gonna fail, because I ended up having to retake it and learning the same stuff over again sucked.
- Getting distracted by guy drama and letting it screw up my grades.

gaining the freshman 15 because getting rid of it sucks!
buy a scale and weigh at least once or twice a week. if you gain more than 5 pounds, you need to change up your diet/exercise routine.

also not getting involved. its one thing to party and be with friends all the time, but you should also join organizations.
