I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

I have 15 tattoos, and 8 piercings. I'm married and just gave birth to a baby boy in May. I'm currently a SAHM so you can find me taking care of my son and binge-watching television while he naps.

I've had my hamster for three days. The first two days she was really active and then today she buried herself in her little house and didn't come out until I tapped on the cage. Then when she came out, she ate a little bit then fell asleep in a ball in the middle of the cage. And she's choosing to chew the glass rather than her chew sticks.

Am I just over thinking things?
I had a hamster a few years ago that lived a healthy three years and I haven't had this happen.

That's completely normal. My hamster sleeps all day. She wakes up every once in a while to eat, or play but other than that, she's asleep. Sometimes, she'll even sleep in her wheel. Hamsters are nocturnal so I wouldn't worry too much that your hamster is asleep during the day. She's normal.

i'm a girl and i'm 14, and i admit, i have a boyfriend. we've been going out for 9 months and he's usually NOT like this!
i'm keeping this brief, cuz i hate going into detail about it.
we were at a park alone recently, and he was sitting at the base of a slide and i was on his lap. i was kinda uncomfortable, but we were just talking and i didn't see any harm. but then he started....rubbing my thigh and getting closer to my butt...
i really didn't like it so i got up and pretended to look at something.
he asked me to sit next to him again. i didn't want to, really, but i thought maybe he just wanted to tell me something.
well he started touching me like that again. i was about to say something, but i was SO scared!
i hate myself for not doing anything!! you have no idea...
just then his phone alarm went off and we had to go. as we were standing up, i noticed a bulge in his pants and...it REALLY looked like he had a boner...
it was SO AKWARRRDD!!! he was trying to cover it up with his shirt and pretend nothing happened...
for two weeks i was totally hung up about it.
i hate anything sexual, my eye kept twitching, i was zoning out more than usual, i kept thinking about it and flinching when people touched me.
he's apologized, but now he doesn't seem affected.
he's usually such a good kid, though.
oh btw he's 15, just information i forgot to add.

If you're not comfortable with your boyfriend touching you, are you sure that you like him? Touching each other is a normal part of a relationship, and if it makes you uncomfortable, then that's not good. That's a pretty big issue. Is there a reason you don't like to be touched that way, or is it just because it's new to you & you're scared?

Boners are completely normal for guys to have, especially boys who are 15. It's not something he can control. He really likes you, and him getting a boner obviously shows that. You can't shun him or think of him differently just because he got sexually aroused around you. He's 15! That's completely normal. He probably masturbates too. You need to get over it.

Yes, I would say you're overreacting. Look into why you're scared of being touched though. Nothing about that sounds good.

Five years ago i saw a documentary on NYC and it's faults. it said 95 years ago there was world's worst earthquake that killed millions because they weren't expecting it & all of the skyscrapers collapsed. My Choir is going on a broadway trip to see a broadway show in nyc, and i am VERY scared that tehre will be an earthquake because it has now been exactly 100 years since the last major EARTHQUAKE. soo idk if it was true, but i heard that they were expecting such a big Earthquake thatt it will effect pensylvania and more than half of the east coast. Because of Haiti, Chile, iceland, norway, The volcano etc i'm scared that there will be an earthquake the day we go to nyc help asap.

I understand how you feel about being scared. I'm from NY (Not NYC) and had never experienced an earthquake in my life. I moved to Los Angeles a year ago, and while there were a couple of earthquakes, they all stopped before it came down to my part of town. Then a couple weeks ago, we had one that I actually felt, and I was completely freaked out. Earthquake safety went over my head, and when it was over, I realized that I just sat there.

Anyways, you can't live life in fear of one. They're going to happen whether you like it or not. And you can't really predict one. You'll have an easier time predicting a volcanic eruption than you will predicting an earthquake. Just live your life. There's really nothing to be scared of. Besides, there are lots of tiny earthquakes everyday but do you ever hear about them? No, because they're so small that there's nothing to report about.

Just live life. Don't worry about earthquakes. Besides, living in NYC I'm pretty sure you've got nothing to fear.

so last sunday i was at my two cousins birthday party. one is in 6grd and the other is in 8grd.. it was at a hotel. so i went out in the pool area to talk to my two cousins and ended up sitting down and then one of my cousins friends who is in 8th grade came and sat down w/us. i started talking to him, just being nice. well then i ended up leaving and everyone tells me how he thought i was so hot and how he wants to marry me .. hahaa young boys!! well now it's my other cousins birthday this saturday and we're going over to his house and my aunt texted me today asking if i was going and i said yeah are you guys? and she is like yeah we are! and i think we're going to bring mikey too! (the boy who has the biggest crush on me) i told my parents and they think its the funniest thing but i know i'm going to keep getting crap for it.

my question is .. how do i act around him? he texted me, because my little cousin gave him my number and was talking dirty to me .. 8th grade pervs! and so now i feel as though it will be awkward when i see him! i don't want to crush the poor kid and just ignore him but i also don't want to give him the wrong idea. suggestions? thanks!:)

Before you even confront Mikey, you need to confront your cousin. It was wrong of your cousin to give out your number without your permission. Make sure that you're stern, clear and that you mean it.

Anyways, when it comes time to confront Mikey, just take him aside. Tell him that you're really flattered that he likes you, & thinks you're pretty, but he's too young for you and you just see him as a friend. Tell him that you guys can remain friends, but that's all it'll ever be. By doing that, you can let him know that there's no chance of a relationship, but that you can still remain in contact.

Ok, so i'm 15 and I just started my period about 4 months ago? lately i've been using pads because i'm waaaaay to scared to use a tampon.

But, pads are really starting to get on my nerves i'm constantly having to check to make sure I didn't bleed through, and they're really uncomfortable I feel like i'm a diaper.

soo here's my question, i've never had sex and i'm really tight so will putting in a tampon hurt for me?

I don't think it'll hurt. I wasn't a virgin when I first used a tampon, but I don't think that has anything do to with it.

I would suggest a tampon with a plastic applicator. Those are much more comfortable. When it's time to put the tampon in, relax. If you're super tense, it'll hurt & you'll put it in wrong. Get yourself at an angle, and insert the tampon.

If you need instructions, the box comes with them. It really isn't hard, but it might take a few tries before you get the hang of it.

Tampons are much better than pads. You don't feel any leaks, & it's rare that you bleed through. I've had it happen, but that's a different situation. If you do happen to worry about bleeding through, just bring a change of clothes to school. Keep them in your locker or your backpack & change if you feel uncomfortable.

I have known this guy forever. A guy thats like my big brother and him are best friends and I guess one day my big brother gave him my number. We usually text everyday, we have hung out some times too. I really have a crush on him. We havent had sex and we flirt and theres tension between us, and he has even got drunk before and wanted me to come over to have sex and he will joke on me but still talks to me. To be quite honest, no, he doesn't like you. He may like you as a friend, and may find you attractive, but I don't think he respects you enough to wanna date you.

He has gotten drunk and asked if you'd like to come over and have sex. That alone says he does not want a commitment and that he just wants to fool around no strings attached. He also knows that you like him. He more than likely wants to be friends with benefits, but that never works out because someone develops feelings and then the relationship becomes awkward.

Don't get involved with him. Keep him as your friend, but also keep in mind that he isn't necessarily someone you want to sleep with or date. Don't get involved with anyone sexually if you're not in a monogamous relationship because things will get messy and dramatic.

He didn't pop your cherry, but you're still not a virgin anymore.

Even if it's just the tip, it still counts as losing your virginity. If you really don't know that, then you probably should not be having sex.

Buy pure acetone. You can get it at Wal-Mart, Sally Beauty Supply, etc.

It costs a few dollars for the bottle, but you get a lot. If I remember correctly, you have to dip a paper towel in it, wrap the towel around your nails and then cover it with foil. It'll heat up (nothing too hot/painful) and after about 10 minutes, they should be flimsy enough to take off. If they're still hard after 10 minutes, soak them.

So, I've been friends with this guy for three almost four years, he and his friend are my two best friends in the whole world. Well since then everyone has been giving me crap about it. He came over and my brother came downstairs and said. I honestly wouldn't go out with him. Do you really want to be with someone who a few days ago was macking on your sister?

It's not fair to you, and he probably doesn't like you. He may either be desperate for a girlfriend so he'll resort to anyone, OR he's leading you on for his own sick pleasure. Either way, it's not exactly genuine and you'll probably end up getting hurt. Stay away.

Does the Wave really work?

I had it, and to be quite honest, it does work, but it takes a long time to see results.

It isn't instant like the commercial makes it seem, and you really have to have lots of patience to use the product. You're better off just buy the cleanser yourself instead of buying the Wave. It's a great product, but it takes a while to work the way you'd like it to.

I'm not asking whether to have sex with this guy it's just concerns with my body parts that i'm worried about.

this guy has only had sex with one other girl, someone he was with for over 2 years and he hasn't done anything sexual with anyone else. the thing that worries me is when we start becoming sexual and my vagina is different, my boobs are different, my whole body is different obviously! i'm just worried that he will be kind of weirded out at first because of what he was so use to with his girlfriend. everyone is different, i understand that but it just makes me a bit self-conscious because what if he's like woah her vagina "lips" are so big, or just things like that?

has anyone else had this worry and a bit self-conscious? i'm comfortable with my body .. and i do have confidence it's just that one concern thats bothering me.

I doubt he'll care. If he really likes you, he won't even notice that you look different, he'll find you beautiful regardless.

If you do happen to want to sleep with him, and he makes a comment, then he isn't the one you should be with. A person who loves you won't compare you to others. That is not love. If it happens, leave.

what are some fun LA restaurants that are trendy and unique?

Barney's Beanery is definitely a really great place to eat. They have a really extensive menu with lots of different foods and they're pretty reasonably priced. It's a cool environment and they have lots of locations.

If you're looking for a place to relax with a friend after a day of shopping, you could definitely go to Yogurtland. It's a frozen yogurt place, and they've got lots of great flavors. It's self-serve so you can get as much as you want, and at 30 cents an ounce, it's affordable too. They also have a lot of toppings. :)

Another great dessert place is Millions of Milkshakes on Santa Monica BLVD. Lots of celebs go there, and their milkshakes are fantastic. Whenever I go, I get the Shake of Fame. It's so good. They're a little pricey, but definitely worth it.

Pink's Hot Dogs is great. They have a big menu full of awesome hot dogs, and they're pretty famous. The line is usually pretty long, but it's worth it, especially because they've been around for 70 years. If a restaurant can last that long, they must be good.

Alright guys :) I'm 18, and I'm a chubby girl. It seems that whenever I buy a cute pair of jeans, they rip (in the inner thigh) and I'm left with no jeans at all. I'm tired of this happening, but I know it will keep happening, so does anyone recommend a certain brand of jeans that won't rip as easily and will last? Any experiences? Thanks for the advice!

I buy my jeans at Wet Seal because they're really good quality and last a really long time. They usually run around $25 and they go up to about a size 15. I'm not sure if they have bigger sizes, but you could always check their website or ask them at the store.

Old Navy also has good jeans. They have lots of sizes, and their clothing is usually good quality in general.

You could also try Target. They have big sizes too.

I like this guy at school and he may have a girlfriend what do i do from keeping myself from falling to hard which i think i may have allready fallen.

Just tell yourself that he's already in a relationship and that he is happy with her. Make sure that you know that your chances of getting together with him are small.

And just move on. There are plenty of fish in the sea! I'm sure once you realize that this guy is already happy with his current girlfriend, you'll move on to a new dude in no time!

i come here from the phillipines. for those who know the phillipines we are not the richest country. i moved to washington just this last summer. my family comes from proverty so much so that we didnt own a tooth brush. so thats why my teeth are yellow. i was wondering is there anything other than brushing my teeth that will whiten my teeth.

I've read online that using a banana peel works. I guess you could eat the banana first and then take the peel and rub it on your teeth in a circular motion. I don't know how much it works, but I've heard good things about it.

Surely you are seeing a dentist, na? They can give you cleanings every now and then so that you can get your teeth back to normal. Just try whitening toothpaste, lots of mouthwash, and trying not to eat foods that will damage your teeth anymore than they already are.

I know it can be embarrassing, but not everyone is perfect and you cannot help the fact that you were poor. Just take care of yourself and see a dentist. They will help you and give you tips.

It usually takes more than vaginal intercourse to get a girl to orgasm. Sex alone will not do the trick. He can stimulate your clitoris with his finger all he wants, but it doesn't mean anything will happen.

Has he ever performed oral on you? Most times oral does the trick. I think I've only orgasmed once or twice from having sex normally and every other time it's been through oral stimulation.

Just bring it up. Say that you guys haven't really discussed it, and that you don't want to make a big deal out of anything, but you really think sex is an important part of a relationship and that you don't want to rush or have the relationship be based on sex. Ask each other questions about your sex life, like being virgins, diseases and stuff like that just to make sure everyone is clean. Even get tested just to be safe.

Make sure you tell him that sex isn't the only thing on your mind, but that you just want to be safe, informed and assured. I'm sure he won't find it weird at all. If anything, he'll be relieved that you asked since you said that he's shy. Don't be nervous! This is a very normal & healthy thing.

So I was thinking of going with my friend down to Las Vegas for two nights just to take a road trip and I was wondering if anyone knew of any CHEAP hotels or motels ON THE STRIP preferably and how to get around whilst there? Also, if my friend is 18 we should have no problem buying bus tickets to Las Vegas from Los Angeles right? Also, do I need a credit card to check into the hotel or can I just call them a make a reservation or ask if I can just pay cash when I get there? I'm planning to go this weekend! I will rate. My price range for two days is about 1000 dollars including food, travel, hotel and the bus fare there and back? I know it's not a lot!

I've been to Vegas a couple of times within the past year, and I can tell you that the best place to stay is the Stratosphere. They're at the end of the strip and during the week it's usually pretty cheap (around $25 a night) and on weekends it can get up to around $50-$70 a night depending on the room, day, etc.

The best way to get around while there is probably walking or taking a cab. All the hotels are walking distance from each other, but if you prefer to take a cab, the fare probably won't be too expensive.

I think as long as your friend is 18, getting bus tickets should be no problem. I'm pretty sure the hotels don't take cash for the rooms, because whenever I've went they've almost always asked for a credit card, but you should call prior to the trip and ask ahead of time.

If you want to hit up the buffets, The Orleans and the Rio have the best ones. The one at the Stratosphere is pretty decent too. As far as shopping goes (if you plan to do any), the stores are pretty pricey, but definitely worth it. I'm not sure if the exhibit is still going, but the Luxor has an exhibit on the Titanic with lots of actual stuff they found underneath the ocean when they discovered the remains. (Plates, letters, clothing, kitchen ware, etc). It's a very interesting exhibit and while it's around $30 a person, it's so worth it because you learn a lot about it. There's a lot of reading, but it's informative and fun. You should definitely try and experience that because it's a really great thing to do.

$1000 should do you pretty well as long as you're careful about how you spend your money. Just remember that since you and your friend are under 21 that you are VERY limited as to what you can do. Sight-seeing, shopping, lounging & swimming are about all you can do. No drinking, no gambling & no clubbing.

Definitely look on priceline.com for hotel prices. It'll show you all of their rates for the weekend and whatnot. It'll help you make your decision. Also, when checking in to the hotel, try the $20 trick. Chat up the person at the desk, and when they ask for credit card/ID, slip a $20 between the cards and ask if they have any upgrades available. It usually works pretty well and you end up getting an awesome room. :)

Anyway, I really hope this helps. Enjoy Vegas. I know it doesn't sound so fun when you're so limited because of age, but I'm 19 and I always have a ton of fun when I go despite the limitations. Have fun, & be safe.
