Is Ricky Martin really gay? If so, how'd he have two kids?!
My friend called to tell me that Ricky Martin has come out of the closet and has announced being gay but I just can't believe it. I'm a HUGE Ricky Martin fan, and have been since Livin' La Vida Loca came out, but this is a shocker. If he is REALLY gay then how did he have two boys? I know his twins are just a couple of years old or something...wow! Is he REALLY homosexual?

How is this even a shocker to you? It's kind of common knowledge that he was gay. He didn't have to come out of the closet for people to know.

Yes, he is. It has been a controversy for years. Just because he is gay, does not mean that he would not be with a women. Maybe he was experimenting, and got her pregnent. Or, he was trying to cover it up by being with a women and she ended up pregnent.
It really is not a big deal. It is nice that all of his fans are sticking by him. I hope that this does not change the fact that you like his talent.

i personally dont think its that big of a deal, just like when that guy from backstreet boys came "out of the closet" people were blown away. but anyways..
he had a surrogate mother carry his twins. just because he is gay, does not mean that he cant have kids. his surrogate mother is not apart of their lives but they are HIS boys. ricky's semen was put into the surrogate mother, which created a baby. and thats how these things happen :]

He said he was homosexual. Ricky Martin released a rather lovely statement 'coming out' last week.
It's always been public knowledge, since they were born, that Ricky's twins were carried by a surrogate mother who wasn't going to be involved in thier lives as a mother really. In fact, a bunch of Catholic bishops gave him a hard time for using a surrogate mother at the time. You just can't win with them folk.
