Hey! My name is Ashlea. I've been a member on here for a few years. I'm 24 years old and have a little baby boy. I'm pretty outgoing and I love to joke around. I have a very strong sense of humor and I love making people laugh. I don't care too much about what other people think about me because in the end, you're all you got. Nothing else matters but your true opinion of yourself. I think everyone is beautiful in their own ways. I never look down on anyone nor do I judge people for their decisions or lifestyles.


I love to listen to music. That's probably the only reason I like driving, otherwise, It'd be boring as hell. I love spending time with my son. He is by far the best thing that's ever happened to me. He is my best friend and when I'm with him, nothing else matters. The whole world could pass me by, and as long as I have him, it doesn't matter one bit. He's the only one who can truly make me smile. I am truly happy because of him. I love spending money when I have it, and sometimes, that can be a bad habit. I love to write poems, and am told I am very good at it, but only when I'm upset or bothered by something. Lately, though, I have not written any. I also enjoy writing. I seem to have a way with words and I love how a paper sounds after I write it. It makes me sound more intelligent.(lol) I also like to watch movies, mostly comedy and drama...I hate action movies and boy-ish movies. Horror movies give me nightmares(yes, even at this age.) ...I like to go on the computer alot and I love meeting new people, so feel free to get in touch with me!


I hate people who think they are better than you, and people who are snobby or stuck-up. Having that attitude will never get you anywhere in life, and I look at it as a sign of immaturity. I like to be around people that within the first 5 minutes of talking to them you know that you will already feel comfortable with them because they are that down to earth. I can't stand people who criticize other people and their lives. Understand that you, as well, have things about your life that you do not like...so you wouldn't like it very much if people talked about you in a bad way, would you? We're all human, we all make mistakes and run into bad situations. Things happen that we can't control. These are all parts of life though and can be handled with the help of others, which is why negative criticism is not needed.

I believe that what you can't control, you have to let go. Too often we hang onto things when we have no control or power over its outcome, so in the end, life will take its course and we have to just go with it.


I guess some people would say I can be selfish at times, although I choose not to believe that(lol), and if things don't go my way, i WILL be upset. But, I also learn to get over it and move on. I love giving advice. Everyone I know say that's the one thing they love about me the most...I never judge anyone on any of their problems and I truly do enjoy helping people with their problems in any way I can. I will go to any extent I have to in order to help someone else. I have a habit of putting other people's needs ahead of my own. I have been giving people advice and helping people so much with their problems that I don't even get that GREAT feeling anymore from helping people. It's just in my nature and I am happy to just be able to be of some sort of help to anyone: stanger or friend.

my girlfriend has posters on her wall of a bunch of celebrities that she thinks are "hot". She claims to me all the time that she doesnt check them out or think about them in any way but i think she is lying to me. I dont know what to do now. Is she lying to me about checking other guys out or what. She claims they are stupid little pictures, well if they are so stupid why are they up?

Soo many ppl in this world..definately over half of the human population, have posters of celebrities on their walls.. and yur girlfriend is rite..they probably dont mean anything to her..she may think they are attractive but i guarentee you that yu have nuthing to worry about cuz its not like shes gonna ever meet these guys or its not like shes gonna cheat on yu with them ..they're only celebritites ..nuthing to get mad over .. im sure yu have girl celebritites you admite .. well, its the same thing with her!!

and .. just be happy that famous ppl are on her wall instead of guys that she knoz in real life !!

there isnt really any way to find out if it is broken besides having sex. your hymen CAN break by riding a bike, using tampons, etc. so, chances are, it may have.

I am 16/f and have almost chin length blond/brown hair. its super thin and pretty damaged from flat ironing it. i kinda wanted 2 grow it out... but i was jw... how long would it take to get it 2 my shoulders? can i speed the growing process up... and will it look bad?

i used to have this same problem..i would flat iron it every day almost and pretty soon, it got so damaged my hair felt like straws. The best advice i can give you is STOP ironing it or at least get a professional straightener (talk to a hair dresser about that.) ..and your hair will get healthy again in about a month or two. Then, make sure you trim your split ends every so often to speed up the growing process. Everyone's hair grows at different speeds but my sister is a hair dresser, and she said that in about 3 months your hair should be down to your shoulders, depending on how fast your hair grows. Okay, here's my issue. I'm 18 and I've been seeing my boyfriend for over 3 months and we're starting to get really serious. The only problem is that his brother is incredibly rude to me all the time. I've known both guys for a long time, and his brother used to be quite nice to me. Its just since we started dating that he's begun treating me like dirt. well, it sounds to me like your boyfriend's brother likes you and is jealous that his brother has you instead of him..maybe your b/f's bro thought that you liked him, but now that he sees that you like his bro, hes pretty pissed about that. your b/f's brother used to be nice to yu..until you started dating his bro. so, now, he's showing hate only bc he likes you and is mad about this.

i think that you should really try going out with him..i mean, you'll never know what will happen if you do. you have to take chances sometimes. so, in my opinion, i think that you should go out with him but when the topic of sex comes up, just simply let him know that you're not ready and you dont think the two of you should have sex just yet. if he doesnt appreicate that, then theres your answer...forget about him, hes not worth it. but, if he does appreicate that, then keep going out with him.

if he likes you enuff, im pretty sure he will respect your feelings and wont try and push you into doing anything you dont want to do just yet.

and also, do you think that him having sex at 11 years old is just a rumor or did he tell you personally?

well, i would not go out with the guy just yet .. cuz sooner or later your dad will find out ..and then by that time, you'll be too head over heelz for this guy to let him go!! so i wuld talk yur dad into at least giving the guy a chance..and maybe ask yur dad if the 2 of yu can be friendz until he getz to kno him well enuff to let yu date him...invite him over for dinner, etc...then maybe yur dad will begin to see that the guy is worthy of having yu as a girlfriend..

no, not at all ..some people just tend to get along with guyz so much easier than girlz!! im the same way but i also have girlfriendz..theyre nice to have around to talk to about girl thingz that you cant really expect a guy friend to understand. but itz not unusual at all..alot of girlz..actually more than yu kno..wuld rather prefer having a guy friend over a girl so itz all good girl!! just make sure yu keep at least one girlfriend around so that you can have another girl that can relate to yu and vice versa..!!

I like this new kid at school a lot its taken forever to have new people come and hes really hott! I went to the beach today and I got burnt on my chest, lower back and thighs. Its not burned too badly but its sore and I can;t put lotion on my skin feels like its burning off and it blisters then scabs over. What are some thing I can do to help get rid of the pain??

I was obbsessed with this guy for like 6 months. I just got over liking him but my one of my best friends told me she went to a party and asked him to slow dance and they danced together 3 times. he probably thinks that you havent talked to him bc you were out with other guys, was ignoring him, etc. but you just have to let him know the truth..that you really couldnt get ahold of him ..and if he doesnt accept that..then just move on and try and get over him bc he isnt the type of guy you'd wana be mixed up with anyways. and you're young!! no need to fret over guyz just yet .. and, if you still wana be his friend..let him know that also.
