ok i have a couple questions so here they go..
1. I have sorta bags and wrinkley things under my eyes even though i get a lot of sleep..how can i tighten up the bags or whatever so i dont like so tired all the time? i used foundation but that does work.
2. I guess i have a sorta big nose..what can i do to make it seem like its smaller? like what makeup?
3. I only get about 4 zits (that are pretty noticeable) in one spot. I use everything to try to get it off. I use the mask stuff, tried toothpaste, clean it a lot, and sometimes just let it be to see what happens. NOTHINGS working. is there anything that i can use to make it go away farily quickly?

Hey Everyone!! Well I've been hanging out w. my group of friends for a really long time now and after a while it gets kind of boring to be hanging out w. the same people.. About things changing suddenly... the site recently changed ownership. It used to be owned and operated by spacefem, now it is owned and operated by dangernerd. Things are a little messed up right now because he is changing some codes and updating stuff. I used to have separate paragraphs on my info, now it's just a big mess also. I believe that if you update your picture, it should be back up.
Things weren't changed on purpose as far as I'm aware of, and they should go back to normal as soon as all the changes to the site are done. If you read the site news, and some of the past site news it might explain it more.

My vet keeps sending me postcards wanting me to bring in my cat to get her yearly exam and shots. Is this really necessary? When I was a kid, we never brought our cats to the vet and they never had problems. We live in an apartment, so my cat never goes outside or is exposed to other animals. So I don't see a purpose for these vaccines. She was just at the vet 2 months ago for an eye infection, so they know she is in good health. I am not saying I don't want to bring my cat the the vet. But is it really that necessary that I bring her EVERY year?
Well, of course I should say Yes, it is necessary.
ya know.. my whole future job is mostly going to depend on repeat visitors to Vet clinics (it's cheaper to keep a patient, rather than get a new patient for the clinic)
Anyway... It really is up to you. In my opinion, you should, only because the yearly vaccinations aren't incredubly expensive, and your cat still does have a chance of being exposed to something.
Here's how:
Your cat stays indoors all the time, but, s/he is still a cat and MAY stray outside once or twice this year. If your cat come into contact with any diseased cats, then s/he will be MORE likely to catch something than a cat who regularly goes outside and is regularly exposed to many different things.
Thos postcards that are sent out are an automatic thing. The receptionist's see your name on a list, and send out a postcard. So, you might want to call your vet, explain that your cat just came in and see if they think you should still bring her in. You might be able to save some money by foregoing the exam and just getting the shots (if you choose to do so)
When I was a kid we never brought our animals to the vet either... most people didn't. In recent years Vet practices have changed so much, and it's become more common and somewhat more affordable to bring your animals to the Vet.
So, I would say that you should get your cat his/her shots, but other people may tell you that it's not necessary.

I have the weirdest phobia (Well to me) I can not swallow pills. My sister used to have trouble with it too, but she eventually got over it. My younger brother has ADD so he has to have pills so he it's no problem for him. But when I was little I had choked on something and I blacked out before it was dislodged, and even though I know it's not going to happen just because I try swallowing a pill, I still have a "pill phobia". Anyway is there anything I can do that will help me get over it. Or just ways to make swallowing pills easier? I'm almost 15, and a sophmore in high school, and I'm still telling doctors when I'm sick that I need a liquid or chewable, I don't want to be an adult doing the same thing. It's embarassing. I have friends that won't swallow a pill unless they have to, but even if it was the only way, I'd rather just be sick. So if you have tips on making swallowing pills easier or just getting over the phobia, please let me know!! Thanks in advance!
I don't really see this as an overly embarrassing thing. I mean.... I can't imagine someone actually making fun of a person because they chew their pills instead of swallowing them. A teenager maybe, but not as an adult. It just doesn't seem like a big deal.
But, anyway, here's a few things you could try. I used to have trouble swallowing pills, but, after getting sick for a few years, taking daily birth control, and other things, I got used to it. When I was younger, and I first started to take pills, I would get the caplets. When you tear the caplets apart, inside is the medicine part. You can sprinkle it over ice cream or whip cream and take it like that.
That seems like a nice alternative to asking for chewable tabs. Just ask for caplets. You can get anything in this form, like painkillers, vitamins, etc.
Until you get used to swallowing pills, you can do that. But, if you want to "practice" you should try something small, like a tic tac. Fill your mouth with water, put your head back, and put the pill towards the back of your throat. This seems to sort of help me get the pills to go down faster, or smoother.
Maybe you could also practice with something that dissolves quickly, or something soft. This could help you get over your fear.

Typing in all capitols is sort of like YELLING online.
It screams "Look at me, my words are more important than everyone elses"
Therefore, if you type a question in all caps, then they will not be approved. If someone notices that you are filling the question approval page with questions in all caps, then you will get banned.
And, if you type all of your answers in caps, then you are very likely to get bad ratings.
So, that's why you may be in danger of getting banned from this site if you always type in caps.

ok, well my parents are divoreced and i live with my mom. i see my dad like every other weekend. well lately hes been pressuring me more then usual to move in with him. he even plays guilt trips on me like if i lived with him then he wouldn't have to pay child support(niether would my mom, my sis would stay there), anyway i dont want to live with him cause i know like 2 people there and i'd leave all of my friends(the best in the world, great listeners, mostly). i dont want to hurt my dads feelings but i dont want to live there with him, is there any way i could kind of let him off easy? i'll rate high for good answers.

First off... How is it that he wouldn't have to pay child support if he would still have a daughter (i'm assuming your sister is also his child) living with your mother. He SHOULD have to pay child support for both of his children. And, if you moved in with him, even though your mother still has your sister, she should still have to pay child support for you.
You should not have to feel this kind of pressure from your dad. You need to explain to him why you don't want to live with him, and if he tries to guilt you into it more, then you might want to consider talking to your mother to get him to stop. It's just not right.
I know you love him and don't want to hurt his feelings, but it's not good for him to make you feel like it's your responsibility to help him out with his financial situations by changing your entire life.
Letting him off easy??? Just tell him the truth. Tell him that you have friends that you just can't leave. He was a teenager once, he should understand what it's like for a teenager to have to lose all your friends.
If he doesn't get the hint with that, then you should take a more drastic step to keep your happiness. Such as talking with your mother or another adult that you can trust.
My additude about this is : he is that parent, your the child... therefore it's his job to make you happy... not the other way around.

Is it normal to gain weight during or right before your period? I am 13 years old and I weigh 100 pounds. Is that normal? Now I weigh 103 pounds.
Chances are, you didn't gain weight just because your about to start your period, but you gained the three pounds because your are a living creature who hopefully eats healthy.
It is normal for your weight to go up and down a few pounds on a day to day basis. 3 pounds is nothing. I'm a healthy 22 year old and have been thin my whole life, but throughout a month, my weight will fluctuate from 135-120 pounds.
You also shouldn't weigh yourself after you eat. You body is going to have a few extra pounds because all of the waste products are still inside you. Many people take this as "I ate too much" and then they will try to eat less. This may lead to eating disorders. It happened to my mother, and because of that, when I was growing up, we were never allowed to have a scale in the house.
Your only 13, your growing, it's always normal to gain, or lose about 5 pounds every once in a while.

Length should not be everything.
There are positions to compensate for short length.
There is also the option of using toys like you mentioned. You need to get him to realize that it's not an insult to him that you want to use toys. He needs to be comfortable with the things that you want to try in order for the relationship to work.
But, seriously, the need to have a hugely long penis size is somewhat in womens head. There are almost no nurves after the first few inches in your vagina.
But, you should still try using toys and different positions before you become completely frustrated with his penis size.

hi, yesterday my friends and i were walking downtown when this guy ask us if we wanted to buy his rottweiler, at first we were obviouslyt like no way, but then we spent time with her and we just fell inlove, anyway we baught her for 150, and shes also pregnant but we dont really knmwo how to take care of her n everything...so please help!!
Why were you first obviously like no way? Rottweilers are one of the sweetest breeds out there, as long as they are raised with care and love.
Anyway. There's a whole lot involved in taking care of a dog. Can you give me specific questions so that I don'thave to spend the next day writing out every last little detail about taking care of a dog. Especially a pregnant rottweiler.
Rottweilers are sweet, but they need the rigth owner. They should have an experienced dog owner who knows how to properly train a dog. Otherwise there is a risk in the dog becoming too protective or aggressive. Rottwielers will try to take control. It's in their nature. It's your job to show them that you are the boss.
I don't mean by abusing her. That is the worst thing you can do.
Anyway, I would appreciate it if you could give me some other specific questions. What exactly are you haviong trouble with?

Hi.
I have a question about small breed dogs. I have had a shih tzu before and I really wanted to get another one, but i was wondering if you knew of any others kind of like shih tzus that arent so expensive. I also had a question about grooming. I want to keep the hair cut and i wanted to know if you knew around how much, a month, it would cost to keep it up and healthy a month. Grooming, food, shots (not sure how often those are needed). And also, what is a good food brand you think would be good for shih tzus (or other small breeds) and whats the best place to get a dog. I have heard bad things about adopting at a store, but i am also not sure about breeders.
As you can tell, i was younger when i had my shih tzu and i didnt have to pay for anything, thats why i am not so sure about those things, but i know you are one of the best pet advice giver here (=))

Sorry about the huge delay in answer, I went on a little vacation.
Anyway.... I'm not too familiar with small breed dogs right off the top of my head. I have answered a few questions about good, friendly small breed dogs that I'll try to find for you.... As for prices of buying the dogs, you'll have to search individual breeders for that.
You should also try searching your local shelters or humane society's. They often have small breed dogs, and puppies available.

Seriously. They are. Pet stores do not care about the animals that they sell (despite the commercials you see for PetCo, most of the people working there know absolutely nothing about the animals they sell.) And it only gets worse when you go to a small pet store.
Pet stores get their animals from puppy mills. They may tell you otherwise, but, I would be willing to bet that any pet store that makes a profit get's their puppys from a puppy mill. The puppy's are extremely unhealthy and very inbred. Not only that, but they are much more expensive that a good breeder.
The animals that you get from a breeder (research the breeder of course to make sure they don't overbreed their dogs) these animals will be good "quality" pet dogs. Most breeders breed a certain breed of dogs because they care about the breed and want to keep the breed alive and healthy. They will usually ensure that the pets are spayed/neutered and first vet bills are taken care of.
Search google for "dog breeds" or other such keywords to find out which breed you would be most interested in, and then search for "_____ breeder" for the breeds that you want to learn more about. I'm sorry I can't help you more with that.
Now, as for grooming and other prices.
I have taken care of a Rottweiler. The other animals I had were all payed for by my mother when I was living with her.
food for my 150 LB rotty was 40 dollars a month. I bought him the most expensive food because anything else gave him major stinky gas. Also because he was overweight and had bad joints.
I would say, for a small breed, it will be closer to 20 dollars a month.
Grooming is 20-30 dollars each time. You should get your dog groomed about once every three months. Depending on whether you get a dog with hair that grows indefinately, or fur that sheds, you can do most of the grooming yourself. Clipping hair that grows indefinately can be quite difficult, but fur that sheds can be brushed weekly to cut back on grooming costs.
Shots should be given once a year. You should also get your puppy spayed or neutered.
Shots=rabies, bordatella(if the dog will be bording) and distemper. Bordatella is the kennel cough vacinne and probably shouldn't be given unless your dog will be exposed to many other dogs.
Rabies is around $15 and should be given every 2 years.
The other two are roughly the same price, but given every year.
So... Food=$20/month
Grooming=$30/3months
Vet bills
spay/neuter=$50-$150 (depends on age, breed, species, sex, and individual vets.)
Shots=$30-$45 each years depending on amount of shots given.
A good food brand? I always liked "Nutro Natural" or "Wymans" I believe that was what they were called. It's hard to remember. When I get more time, I will search online for those two brands and add them to my answer.

I want to get a yorkie, the only problem is that i cant find one in my area For a reasonable price, i was looking online and all the male dogs were alot cheaper than a female, but my parents dont want me to get a male dog (i dont know why). My family and I want:

I would also go to your local humane society and animal shelter. They may have yorkshire terrier or yorkshire terrier-like pups or young dogs. If not, then they can at least give you some places to go. I would recommend searching for Yorkshire Terrier Rescue groups.

Ok, I guess that's enough about breeders. I didn't check out any of the prices, but that's something you can do. Just take the time to call the different places. The good breeders (non-puppy mills) will all have only a few different litters each year. That way, the breeders can take the time that is needed to care for the pregnant dogs, then care for the puppies and make them good pet or show quality dogs. So, if you see a breeder that seems to have 50 dogs at once, every month of the year... then steer clear from them. Don't give them money, and if it's bad enough, then you may want to consider calling animal control on them...
anyway... on to your question about shots.
If you get a dog from a breeder, most of them already have their first shots. Unless you are getting a dog to show, then you should get her spayed as soon as possible. A good breeder will ensure that a pet is spayed.
The shots (if the dog doesn't alreayd have them, or at least some) that you will need are:
Distemper
Bordatella (kennel cough-if your dog will be spending any time in a kennel or with large numbers of other dogs)
Rabies.
Your puppy will also need to be wormed (all puppies need to be wormed, it doesn't mean that their unhealthy if they need to be wormed)
and of course, spayed.
All together, depending on the Veterinarian you go to... the spaying should cost $75-150 and each shot should be $10-35. When I got my dog neutered (neutering is cheaper than spaying) and all his shots, it ended up costing me $112 altogether. Expect to pay more because of the extra cost of spaying. Plus, I got my dog neutered on National spay/neuter day. Most Veterinarians give a big discount on that day, but that was in May, so your out of luck.
Then, you need to get your dog licensed. Not only is this the law, but, at least in Maine, all of the money for licensing a pet goes to help stop animal abuse. In maine it's $10 if your dog has not been spayed or neutered and I believe it's $5 if your dog has been spayed or neutered. Your dog needs to have a rabies shot in order to be registered.
Hmm...I guess that's everything...
but I will mention that you might want to be careful about giving your new puppy your old dog's toys. Your old dog will most likely already feel left out and abandoned if your not careful, and could get extremely jealous about the new puppy playing with his/her toys. You should spend equal amounts of energy playing with them both to ensure that they get alone.
