You are usually only fertile a few days out of your cycle. Your most fertile days are the few in the middle of when you're not bleeding.
There only needs to be sexual contact to spread STD's. If you've only had sexual contact with each other, for certain, then you're ok. However, there are some STD's that you can get that can do their damage before you even know they are there. Gonorrhea can cause many nasty things, including infertility and death, without you ever knowing that you have it. Women often have no symptoms whatsoever. It can also be transmitted to unborn babies without knowing you have it. That's an example of just one disease that you can get.
So, unless you are absolutely certain that you have only ever been with each other, you might want to get tested just to be safe.

Hi. Iam 15 and i have a lump on my boob. I just noticed it today.. I'm pretty sure it just appeared today. I don't know what it could be. I mean, girls my age don't usually get breast cancer. I know it's possible, but i guess it could also be beningn. My mom told me that she had a benign lump about 12 years ago. Hm, maybe it's that? I haven't told her about it, though.

You're best bet is to go see a doctor, especially since you know that your mom has a lump. Odds are, it's the same thing that your mom has. Also, there is this thing called "normal abnormal" which means that you find something that's not really supposed to be there, or that doesn't look right (abnormal), but it's totally harmless (normal). Most things like what you found are harmless. However, you should always see a doctor just to be sure.

I just colored my hair and got it all over my face, neck, hands, arms, and just about everywhere in the house. I've tried using hairspray to take it out, but it's not doing much good. Any other ways?
When I accidently died my husband's forehead black when I was doing his hair, we got it off of his skin by using my face products. We used soap, exfoliant, and astringent, and that took it all off of his face. As far as house stuff goes, I don't really know. I hope that helped.

For my birthday im geting my tongue, nose, and a whole bunch of ear peircigns. my question is, does anyone here have an industrial peircing?? I want one soo bad but im so scared of the pain, ive done my cartilidge before with a regular earing, and it hurt so bad i had to take it out, i cant imagine a 16 gauge (actually im not sure what gauge in inudstrial is) in my ear! and i also need some sites with a whole lotta different ear peircing pics on it because i want my ears really really really peirced haha.

Hey, I don't have an industrial, but my husband does. He has four tattoos and eight piercings. He says that his industrial hurt the worst of any of them. I'm pretty sure his is 14 gauge. He says it wasn't unbearable, but it was the most painful thing he's had done.

I think you have to be 18. If you are under 18, all you should need is your mom's signature and valid photo id's for both of you.
Side note...you might nor want to get it done at a fair. There is very little to regulate how sanitary the conditions are at a state fair. You, of course, can get it done where ever you want. However, I would recommend visiting tattoo parlors in your area, and possibly doing some research on the internet to find which was is the cleanest. Remember that a tattoo is like a big wound, and they are very easy to get infected, or messed up.

When I got a divorce from my husband, I had $57 to live on and ever since that time I have been struggling to get out of debt. My vet keeps sending me postcards wanting me to bring in my cat to get her yearly exam and shots. Is this really necessary? When I was a kid, we never brought our cats to the vet. We live in an apartment, so my cat never goes outside or is exposed to other animals. So I don't see a purpose for these vaccines. She was just at the vet 2 months ago for an eye infection, so they know she is in good health. Is it really that necessary that I bring her?
There is a lot of debate about whether we overvaccinate our pets. The current argument is that pets are probably best vaccinated every two years. However, if your cat ever does get out, and gets taken to the humane society, you may not be able to get it back until it is vaccinated, and believe that some states may even impose a fine for owning an unvaccinated pet.
You might want to check the laws for your area. If there is no law against owning an unvaccinated pet, and you are sure there is no way that your pet can get out, then, quite possibly, it might be better not to vaccinate.
You might want to do some of your own research to get more information. Call your vet and ask if they have any literature about pet vaccinations.

It kind of sounds like your tampons aren't getting wet enough. Try a smaller size in any brand. Maybe try going all the way down to junior's. If that doesn't help, leave it in just a little bit longer. Don't leave it in all day though, because that can be unhealthy.

There are a couple of things that you could try. Mainly, your body needs to develop a routine. Try to always wake up at the same time every morning, if you can help it. Also, try to go to bed at the same time every night. However, don't lie in bed for more than half an hour. If you've been lying awake for more than that, get up and do something that's unstimulating. Read a book or magazine, or look at the stars. Don't watch TV or move around a lot. Then try laying down again.
Also, do not excersice less than three hours before bed. And don't eat too close to bed time either. If you have the option, use your room only for sleeping, reading, and other quiet activities. Just try not to do stressful things like term papers in your room. You want your body to associate your room with relaxation.
If you smoke or drink alcohol or soda, try not to do so right before bed. Nicotine and caffine are both stimulants, and not a good idea. Also, you might pass out freom alcohol, but it's an unnatural sleep, and won't fix the problem in the long term. That's the same reason that sleeping pills should be a last resort. If you absolutely must try sleeping pills, try mild ones first, like the tylenol sleeping pills that you can get at the drug store.
Finally, experiment with light and noise levels in your room. My husband and I both sleep best in a pitch black room with white noise. We use a fan with a noisy motor to make our noise. However, my sister sleeps best with a soft glow in her room, and soft music playing.

It is normal to want sex again if you had a good experience your first time. It's a good, new, and exciting feeling, and it is completely natural to want that sort of thing again. As long as a person is completely ready for sex, it can actually be a good and healthy thing. It is only really bad to want more if, 1) the person isn't really ready, or 2) the person wants it so bad she doesn't care who she has sex with, putting her at risk of hurting her self-esteem and picking up a disease. Otherwise, as long as the relationship is loving, I think that it's ok.
But...she slept with her _own_ brother? That's not quite so normal. I don't really have any advice about that though.

They are probably tiny pimples. Buy yourself a nice face wash, exfoliant, astringent, and moisturizer. Next time you're in the shower, use the wash and exfoliant (follow directions on the bottle). After your shower, use your astringent and moistruizer (once again, follow the directions). Let the moisturizer set for a few minutes, then blot your face with toilet paper or something so that too much doesn't sit on your face.

Is there a public transportation system in your town; like some sort of community coach, bus, or van? If not, do you have money for a cab? Does your city have a discount bus line? My town has the A-line and the B-line, which both charge $5 to come to your house and get you, and take you wherever you want.

Fruit has calories just like everything else. You could try finding a book or website that has the calorie information for fruit. A piece or two won't matter two much one way or the other. However, if you are eating several pieces of fruit in a day, then you may want to watch the calories that you are getting from it.

Did they know he was your boyfriend? If so, you might not want to be friends with them anymore. It seems pretty clear to me that they cannot be trusted, and that's the basis of friendship. Also, it seems that they don't care for your feelings very much, and staying friends with them might set you up for more hurt from them in the future. It could be several different things. If it's connected to your diet, you may have eaten something that you're not used to. Think about what you had for dinner, and if it happens when you eat it again, you might have a mild food allergy. Otherwise, it might just be hunger. There are some good snacks that aren't really bad for you when your stomach hurts. Part-skim cheese sticks, hard boiled eggs, small salad... Next time your stomach hurts, try snacking on one of these things, and it should help.

Your period is very personal. Feel free to keep it to yourself, unless you have a question or need help with something. If you really want her to know, you could try telling her that you need pads next time she goes to the store. That should open up conversation about the topic. Otherwise, it doesn't matter if you ever tell anyone. Only tell people if you are comfortable with it, because it really is no one's business but yours.
