I have a FAFSA loan thing that I have to do for school. Do you know how long I have until the deadline for it to be turned in?

Try checking the FAFSA website, they should have all deadline information on there.

If you need anything else, let me know.

LM answered Monday April 21 2014, 4:54 pm:
According to their website you have until the end of June. However, I would really recommend that you submit your financial aid application(s) to your school as soon as possible. If you need to file an appeal or there are any issues, you'll have time to fix anything without missing deadlines.

Your school may also have their own deadlines so check with the financial aid office.

Most schools deadlines are may 1. But the earlier you do it---the more you may be eligible for a larger award. It's not too late---send it in. A lot of people wait until their taxes are complete

Trauma answered Sunday April 20 2014, 1:31 am:
If you're asking about the deadline to turn in the forms to apply for a FAFSA loan, the website says between January 1, 2014 and midnight Central Time, June 30, 2015. Some states and schools, however, have their own deadlines in place, so it may be a good idea to check with your school as well.

Each state has a different deadline..so you could either look up your state deadline online..just type it into Google, or you will have to talk with your financial aid administrator.

Every school has a different deadline but generally this should be in well before the end of June for the fall semester.

ellekaay answered Wednesday April 16 2014, 3:50 am:
Hi there. According to "fafsa.ed.gov" online applications must be submitted by midnight, central time on June 30, 2015. In addition, the website also states that each state as well as every college has a different deadline. Depending on your location and whichever college you are currently attending, fafsa.ed.gov consists of a table of states along with their deadline dates. You also have the option of checking in with your financial aid administrator at the college that you are currently attending for your deadline status. Thank you for your question and good luck!

I've never done a FAFSA loan before but I'm air all that information is on the website. Check carefully because deadlines are important. It shouldn't be too hard to locate.

To give you a specific date I would need to know what state you live in. In my state it is June 30th. I believe you can still submit even after the deadline passes but you may not get as much aid.

Basically, before the semester starts for you. If you haven't had it completed by then, there's a good chance all the classes you've registered for will dropped. Get on ball !!! Times a wasting.

I'm very sorry but I don't know when or where to turn it in. My only advice would be to call your school and speak to someone there who has that information

adviceman49 answered Wednesday March 5 2014, 10:43 am:
The following should answer your question:

An academic year is the 12 months from July 1st to June 30th. For example, the 2014-2015 academic year begins July 1, 2014 and ends June 30, 2015.

There is an 18 month window to file a FAFSA for each academic year, beginning six months before the academic year on January 1st, and ending at the same time the academic year ends on June 30th. For example:
•The 2013-2014 academic year lasts from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014. A FAFSA can be filed for the 2013-2014 academic year any time between January 1st, 2013 and June 30th, 2014.
•The 2014-2015 academic year lasts from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015. A FAFSA can be filed for the 2014-2015 academic year any time between January 1st, 2014 and June 30th, 2015.

If you have any more questions the following link will take you to the FAFSA website.

Get your FAFSA turned in as soon as possible. Colleges have a "deadline" for FAFSA, but they allow people to turn it in late. If you don't turn it in by their deadline, your financial aid information and calculations will be delayed. Though, you should have turned it in sometime in January or early February because normally, that's the timeframe of when colleges request it get done. It really depends on which colleges you applied to because some colleges have different deadlines. The earlier, the better, because then you have a higher chance of getting a financial aid.
