I think that I might have gotten Chlamydia because I basically have all the signs but I'm so scared to go to the doctor because I will have to tell my parents and not only will i be embarrassed I'll get in trouble..i have no idea what to do please help

fortunately that is one of the stds that is treatable the best thing for you to do is to go to the hospital because if you dont it will get worse and hurt and bother you more as for your parents they actually understand more than you think and your there child they will love you regaurdless

If you do have chlamydia then you do need to know , not only for your sake but for other sexual patners that you may of been with lately and for in the future.
Telling youre parents wont get you in trouble , if anything they will be suportive towards you . If you are over 16 then they can hardly be angry , and if you arent then they will understand .. afterall lots of other people nowadays are having underage sex

i dont know where you live, but you prolly have a Planned Parenthood somewhere near you. They can run free tests and everything is confidental. if you cant find a planned parenthood, then im sure theres some STD clynic somewhere that you can go to. good luck=]

ok if you think you have an STD i rather be safe then sorry. if i was you i would tell my parents i wouldn't care how much trouble i would get in as long as then chlamydia went away. And if you have all the sign and sytoms then you sould go to doctor.

you would never know if you have chylamedia because thay disesase is also called the silent disease which means there is no signs for chylamedia maybe another disease but not that one so the only way is go to a doctor hope I helped =)

You need to either suck it up and go to your regular doctor.. reguardless of how embarassed you are.. or go to one of the many free and confidential clinics that are all around the country. If you really do have chlymidia, you need to get treated for it right away. Places like Planned Parenthood offer STD screenings and treatments for relativly cheap prices. If there isn't a Planned Parenthood close to where you live you should look in the phone book for the locations of some clinics that offer similar services.

i would go to a place like planned parenthood. they can give you free std testing along with meds and wont tell your parents or anyone else

Around where I live there are these clinics that teenagers can go to get tested for free for that kind of stuff. They keep it confidential so no one, even your parents, would know except for you and your doctor. I don't know if there are clinics like that where you are, but you should check around. If not then I guess you'll have to tell your parents. If you think that you have and std, you really need to go to a doctor before it gets worse. I think getting in trouble would be better than living with AIDs for the rest of your life.

If you do have the disease, you need to tell someone. You need to talk to your parents before it gets real bad. After you parents get over the fact that you have had sex. Then they will be able to get you helped.

I think you should tell your parents because because it could be life threatening and your parents would rather have you alive then dead. Don't for them do it for your self. I would rather live than die. but it is your decision and i'm you'll have friends and the person you had sex with.

It's better to be embarassed than to leave these things untreated. It would be unfortunate if you had it, but a doctor can help you to get rid of it. Don't let your situation get worse, go to someone.

You should go to your doctor right away.If you talk to your doctor and make it confidental then your parents wont know.Your doctor then wont tell your parents about it.But thats deffently something you shouldnt leave.

If u goto the health dept. and tell them to keep it confedential they wont tell your parents and you wont have to tell anyone, but you need to go to the doctor and get treated because if you dont it will get worse and it could turn into PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) which is deadly..so trust me its better to go to the doctor

well you had sex and thats the concenquenses youre mature and responsible enuff to do it now you have to finish what you started and go to the doctor and be brave enuff to say yes i did have sex.well you ARE gonna get in trouble but at least your gonna learn from mistakes....thats how a person becomes experienced and dont worry that disease is currable...your lucky you didnt get aids you should thank god!

Don't be scared, find a local std clinic in your area. You will not have to tell your parents about it to be treated. Look it up online. Trust me you'll be fine, if you have ne more questions leave 1 in mi box. :)
