i recently got this peiercing on my cartalge on my left side. i was so excited it to get it i had original planned to get it on my right but changed my mind last minute because they lady said it was gonna hurt and to get it on the side you dont use the most so i was like ok ill get it on my left well i forgot that my bangs are parted to the left so when i wear my hair down or even in a pony tail my bangs fall in front of it and i want it to be seen and i dont know wat to do about it any suggestions?? Just move your hair until the piercing heals. It is important to keep the hair away because the oils in hair could infect a new piecing. You can't part you hair to the right? or pin the bangs back?

i feel extremely sick, for the past 3-4 days. these are my symptoms ..
-constant headaches.
-stressed out.
-my stomach kills
-dizy
-i feel like im going to throw up
-cant eat
-trouble sleeping.
-cramps.
-lower back hurts.
i am however, on my period. but i've never ever ever, felt this stuff before, usually i just get cramps and the lower back hurts. ive never feeled stressed, im really laid back, and lately i feel stressed out and everything. are these common things to happen during your period? ive had mine for, like 2 years. and ive never felt this way. so, i didn't think that was causing it. has this ever happened to you?
i know no one on here are most likely doctors, or anything, but, i was just curious, if anyone has ever felt that way, or gone through it, or know anyone that has.

Everytime I get my period I feel that way. I would reccomend going to see your doctor though, my friend was put on birth control that regulates your hormones and helps with the pain.

Hey! Well I'm African-American (if that's of any help) and lately (the past few months) my hair has been breaking off in the back and my temples and it's now breaking into my main hair. I was wondering if hair vitamins provide in fast hair growth and make the hair healthy...if so, which one? Also, I'm about to get braids to help grow my borken-off areas so what are good ways/products to use to help grow my hair (i.e. braid spray, etc.)? Thanks a buchhhhhh! (link)

I am an African-American and here is what I know:
1. How you have a relaxer? If so, really tight braids and relaxers do not mix!!!! That will cause even more breakage.
2. Do you use hair oil? Use products like Wonder 8 Oil or Mizani or Kera Care, yes African-American people have to put oil in our hair because our hair does not produce oil whereas other ethnicities hair types do.
3. When you comb your hair start at the ends and work you way up, this will be less painful and less likely to break as much hair.
4.Usually hair vitamins help but they do not cause a significant amount of change to hair. How you treat your hair will determine how it will look.

I'm 13 and my sister is 9. She's the queen. My parents love her and never yell at her. If we get in a fight and my sister scratches me, I get in trouble for it. Every single day is dedicated to my sister. Today my mom and sister left me to go to the zoo. They left without saying bye and said they would be home at 6. Tomorrow my sister, my mom, and my friend are going to some baby arcade place and they'll be gone all day. My dad works so obviously that leaves no one to take me where I want to go. My friends think I'm ditching them because I always have to cancel plans since my mom drives my sister around everywhere since I don't have a ride, so my friends are mad and I'm losing them. So far every day since summer started my sister has had a friend over or she's gone somewhere, and I haven't done anything or seen a friend. My mom hates me and I thought that the older one gets to do more since they are older, but in this case my little sister is having a freakin blast this summer while I sit home crying with no ride. I live a little far away from my friends so they can't always pick me up. Me and my friends planned to go to the beach Wednesday but the rule is we all have to get a ride there so people don't feel left out. And of course the calendar says that my sister, her friend, and my mom are spending the day at the park. That means I have no ride and my friends can't give me one. I told my mom that what's she's doing is hurting me emotionally and I feel like I'm not special and I'm losing friends because of her ways, and she says my little 9 year old sister is more mature than me so that's why she gets all the fun. Summers wasting away and my friends aren't bothering with me anymore since every single plan I've made with them has been canceled or postponed because my mom can't give me a ride because she's too busy making my sister feel like a queen. I can't go through the whole summer like this. I've never thought of killing myself, but today after I wanted to go to the mall with my friend and found out my mom and sister had already left for the zoo and my friend's parents were at work so I was supposed to give her a ride, pretty much gave me a thought about killing myself. I let down my friend and myself AGAIN because I get their hopes up when we make plans and then I find out we can't even go. Help? I hate my sister!!! (link)

I know how you feel. Your mom really is treating you poorly, does your dad even know what is going on? Or does he not care? No way a 9yr old is more mature than a 13yr old, that just isnt possible. Try to work out something with your dad but also try talking to your ma again. It is better than nothing. Also, if that fails, try tagging along with your ma and sis just to see what is going on.

okay so i'm 14 years old and i am really in need of a job this summer. i've applied at 3 mcdonalds that said they weren't in need of help so macdonalds is a no. i have an oppurtunity to babysit too but i really don't want too, so if you could help give me ideas of places that hire 14 year olds or a good job search website it'd help me tons :]

Im 16 and my dad died when i was 8 and my mom recently got married to a guy who used to be in the army. I have two sister and now i have 3 step brothers. He is like way strict and his kids are like perfect angels but me and my sisters have never really been raised that strict and for lack of better words are pretty wild. my mom never really punished us for things( ive never been grounded and ive never had a curfew and my mom knows and stilll doesnt care that my sisters and i are big partiers) and now this guy is trying to control us and take over our lives. Well, this is a tough situation. Personally, no one would discipline my children but myself and their biological father, I do not feel that step parents have the authority to discipline their step children. Normally I would suggest sitting down with your new stepdad and talking this over however I know how difficult army men are to talk to (I have family that use to be in the army). In this situation I suggest telling your mom what a control freak the stepdad is and if she is half the mother she should be she will do something. Just because your stepdad lives in your house now does not mean you have too treat him like he is your father, still treat him with the same respect you would give to any adult but there does not have to be a "daddy's lil girl" type situation. Just remeber, you have about 2 more years until you are out of their house and on your own, don't loose your mind yet.

Has anyone ever used Proactive and seen a dramatic difference? I've been using it for about a month now, but I'm not noticing a real big difference. Do you have any advice, if it's working for you what I may be doing wrong?

Yes, I use it and love. Make sure that you use it all of the time because if you stop problems may occur. It took about 3 months for me to see a dramatic difference. Rember, different acne treatments work for different people.

Okay this is really embarassing....I went to the movies with my boyfriend last night and we decided to see Nacho Libre...well halfway through the movie I had drank a large soda and I really needed to go ut I didnt want to miss the movie. So then this really funny part happened and I laughed until I peed my pants...I was SO embarrassed and I couldnt get up because I was afraid he would notice to when we went to leave the movie I just rapped my jacket around my waist. On the car ride home he put his hand on my thigh and squeezed...I was so happy! I've never really be touched by a guy (I know I'm a weirdo) and I'm really excited and like a a crazzed fan touched by their hero I'm not sure if I want to wash the pants. I know its gross...but would it be too weird to not wash them and keep them for sentimental value? I wanted to ask my friends but I was WAY to embarrassed to ask people I know. well a lot of women do have an odor from downthere. Try vagisil wipes.
You could go to the doctor and if you have a nice one ask them to test you for a disease. Do you have any visable rashes or bumps there? those are usually the best indicator.
As far as an STD goes, I do not tink you have one if there is just a smell and no rash or bumps.

so i have this friend and lately weve been getting into a lot of fights. basically she has a lot of problems with the way i look but instead of telling ME about it she always goes behind my back and talks about it with someone else or talks about it on a website. and i think she thinks im mad at her because shes saying all this stuff about me which is part of it. i mean she claims that she wants to help me but when she talks about me she uses phrases that could be put a LOT nicer so it seems like shes really just making fun of me. but like the real reason im mad at her is because she always goes behind my back and talks about it. its like shes afraid of me or something...like if she tells me theres something wrong with me im gonna murder her in her sleep. but now we arent really talking and i dont feel like talking to her if shes just gonna keep on going behind my back like that. i mean should i talk to her about it or just move on and find more friends who actually care about my feelings? Well in these types of situations I would also consider my own actions. What have I done? How has my relationship been with this person? What is my friend usually like? Has she always been like this? But yea. Find new friends

so i've just gotten closer with this guy this year [friend wise] he's praticly the closest friend i got. What sucks is that i liked him at first, just kept quiet about it since he "rejected me" last year. [long story. not as literate as u think] anyhow, there are times when were going out, get close and it just gives me that feeling that i know i do like him, but he wouldn't ever feel the same way back cause to him were just really good friends. [i think] sometimes we have these weird conversations thats make me wonder if he does like me. but anyway, we'v both dated other people throughout the year, he goes on and on bout some girl and it kinda gets annoying [i've delt with it for a year, so im pretyy gd :P] so now we're both going to different new school, our plans to stay close til another year so i can register at his. although i doubt it'll work out. its just, i kind of want to let him go, so i wont have to look at him and know that i like him but at the same time, i want him there! [cause hes my best friend.. and i do like] does that even make sence? it feels like the crushes i use to have in middle school! i feel pretty lame but its the way things grew to. our conversations have changed in someways, were more open, but i have to wonder if its just a friendship thing. so u see how messed up im getting? does anyone have any advice for the siuation im in?
