If your scared that it might be an STD than go get checked. The worst thing you can do is not get checked because after waiting many STD's can get worse and cause inflamation, fallopian scaring, and can lead to you not being able to have children. Just go to your doctor or gyno and get your "downstairs" checked. =] If you have any other symptoms then let me know and I can help because I know alot about STDS. ]
Vaginal Odors can be ANYTHING. A bacterial infection, Chlamydia, Herpes, Vaginitis, etc etc. I would suggest going to see a doctor to make sure! ]
Go see your or your family physician so you can most likely live.

omg well i think guys that have done it with soooo many girls probably have a "downstairs" that smells like TRASH and when you did it with them they spread it off to you!you should see a doctor cuz since you been showering and the smell is still there then this could be serious so go to the doc b4 its too late....good luck ]
Odors can be common, especially during puberty. I'm not saying you have an STD, i'm just saying if odor is the only problem, you shouldn't worry to much. Give it about a week, and if the smell doesn't go away, see a doctor. That way you can be completely sure. ]
well a lot of women do have an odor from downthere. Try vagisil wipes.
You could go to the doctor and if you have a nice one ask them to test you for a disease. Do you have any visable rashes or bumps there? those are usually the best indicator.
As far as an STD goes, I do not tink you have one if there is just a smell and no rash or bumps.
However, go to webMD.com and click on the symptoms checker. ]
if i were you i would go get in checked out by a doctor ]
It would be helpful if you had included your age dear. More discharge and a different smell could be quite normal if your body is still developing.
Rather few STD's I can think of off the top of my head include a bad odor, so don't panic. See your doctor to find out if anything is wrong and, of course, make sure your hygiene is up to snuff. Showering is important of course but make sure you are wearing clean pants and underwear all the time and don't wear cotton underwear to bed, or better yet don't wear any underwear to bed and let your vagina get some air.
But no one will actually be able to tell you if something is wrong or not unless you see a doctor. ]
