Why are boys so... i dont even know what word to use.. i mean they tell you they love you just to get in your pants! and they are sooo confusing, they bring so much pain but i still want them! ... grrr, am i making any sense? all i truley want is this...

who i can talk to about anything.
who laughs at my jokes.
a boy who puts my cold hands

who knows my favorite color, song,
car, vegetable, perfume and
the color of my toothbrush.

who will call me by my full name--
first, middle and last.
a boy who will kiss me and
tell me i'm beautiful.
a boy who will let me cry to him.
who will squeeze my hips just right.
who suprises me and compliments
my manicure and plays with my hair.
who knows when i have a math test
or when i fail one.
a boy who smells like
he just stepped out of the shower.
who tells me i have a nice laugh,
and a smile that lights up the room.

that is exactly what i want!

Aww that is so cute! =) I wish I had a guy like that too ; yeah most guys DO just want to get in your pants... but believe it or not there actually are guys out there that ARE just like that. This one guy I know Shane.. he is SO sweet. He's always complimenting and being nice and stuff like that...he's just so nice and he doesn't try anything..but we're just friends...for now lol ;-). Anyways, I know it seems like EVERY guy is like that now, but whenever you get older and they get older they'll realize they just want someone to hold and etc, and they'll get more mature ( hopefully. ) But that was just the cutest thing I've ever read!! =)

I hate to burst your bubble, but you're asking too much. Your list is TOO EXACT. You have to start slow! Where to start, you ask? Just start off wishing and looking for a nice guy friend! Honestly, no one get get everything you mentioned by just wishing it. You have to FIND the right person.
Not all guys "they tell you they love you just to get in your pants".
When you find a guy that loves you for you and you love him for him, that's all you need. You won't care about him "buying you 25 cent rings" or ANY of that stuff. You'll just be so HAPPY that you finally found someone just for you. When you're single you want a lot of things. But when you finally find someone, trust me, you won't want anything from them except love [ And maybe some kisses and hugs ;) ]. Your list, or poem, or whatever that was, won't matter when you find someone you love. It will come naturally and you shouldn't mope around wishing you could find someone.
Dating is all about bonding with someone, gaining new experiences, and finding what you need and want. If things don't work out you move on and live life.

I think maybe your list is just a little bit precise. It's really great that you know what you want, and really, there's a lot of good advice for guys in your question.
I don't like guys on principle, which often sounds strange coming from the mouth of one. As someone else said, 90% (I'd put it more around 95%) of guys are jerks. If you really want to find one of those sweethearts, you have to look hard.
You asked :Why can't I get that?
I think maybe you're young, and you just wish a great guy would fall out of heaven to love you. Things don't happen easily. A lot of people will tell you, to find a nice guy you really have to wade the crap. In this case, you have to sift the jerks.
Another tip that might be useful is that waiting for him to ask you isn't always the best idea. Most of the jerks don't bat an eyelid between seeing your pretty face, and asking you out. The sweethearts might be more reserved, perhaps you even intimidate them 0;). If you really think someone is a good guy, for God's sake, break the stupid "guys ask girls" tradition.
It can be a really nice change for guys to get asked out, and they'll probably be too stupified by it to say no ^_^.

Okay, Realtionship like that don't build themselves over night. My advice, is wait it out, love always hits me when I'm not looking. Sometimes, even though, you don't want to you have to compromise, because there might be a guy that has all but a few, some guys just need to be told what the girl is looking for. Anyways, if you really want someone special, look to your closest friends, and get out there a meet new one too!

Sorry, but there is no such thing as the perfect guy and most guys aren't like this. Almost every girl would want this type of guy but he just doesn't exist. That is like the perfect guy and everyone wants that. no one will have all of thos qualities but maybe someone does and if you want that person you'll have to get out there and find him. maybe if you find someone without one or two of those things you should settle though because thats pretty lucky!! also guys that are older and more mature will probably have more of those!

Well, for one, it might be hard to find someone who has all of those qualities. They also can't read your mind. I'm a guy, and I know that there are some guys out there that are shallow. I'm not like that. Actually, I'm most of what you mentioned.
Guys can don't really like to show their sensativity. (ex. draws pictures and slips them in your locker)
They may also want to buy their girl to recieve quality with affection. They may not buy their girl a 25 cent ring.

I applaud you knowing what you want though and not settling. Until I got to university I thought the same way about guys, most of the ones I knew were just immature and blah.
