What You Can Do To Help A Depressed Or Suicidal Friend.
Listen to your friend with concern.
Ask your friend if he ever felt this bad before. If so, how did he handle the situation?
Share a time when you felt pretty bad and assure your friend that things can and will change.
Be especially concerned if your friend takes drugs and/or alcohol because their judgement is impaired.
Ask if your friend has suicidal thoughts.
Let your friend know that many people think about suicide but never actually attempt it.
Give your friend a hotline number and make sure your friend calls.
Stay with a depressed person. Do something together.
If your friend is suicidal and refuses to get help, tell a responsible adult as soon as possible.
Make specific plans to see your friend the next day.

My bf broke up with me, he gave me an excuse pretty much he said well if we fight this much now how are we going to have a future and we're going to ruin our friendship. Ok it's an excuse bc I was willingly to do anything for us to not fight but he wasn't. I really love him, when he broke up with me I had to have one of my friends stop me from not starving myself or cutting myself. I can't stop crying, it just can't be over I need to talk to him. What do I say is this over u heartbreaker? lol It's weird bc we only had a few fights and stuff and we were doing good a few days ago..please what do I do I'd do anything for this boy and anything to get him back ik thats desperate..but I LOVE HIM!!!!!
Well, is you love him you should realise what is best for him. Talk to him ,work it out. Explain how you feel. Or write him a letter, explaining exactly how you feel about this whole situation, and how much your in love with him. If you keep it all up inside of you, then you're most likely to feel even more emotional pain. I think that the fact that he thought there was something wrong with your two's relationship is what is REALLY getting too you. let it out. Talk to someone. Letting it out will help you so much.

where can i find some cute jeans that is not that expensive...i rate high...
One place you could go if you have at least a little sewing skills is your local flee market or thrift shop and pick up a pair of ratty old jeans.... then you could go to a fabric shop and by lace and beads and sequins....etc. Sew them on or glur them on.... It gives them a really cool pazazz. Also you could go to stores like Rave and Rue 21 also old navy and other places such as marshalls or good will... I go shopping there and make all my clothes look good because both me and my husband are struggling colllege students... but those are cheap places

i was just wondering if anybody had any ideas on how to get rid of a flabby tummy - like the part that hangs over your belt. i am not a fat girl, infact, i am pretty small for my age/height, but it seems like no matter what i do i always have a pretty big flab hanging down. i have been doing 100-200 situps a night for at least 6 months now & it actually really is helping my abs, but it's not targeting my stomach, which is below that. so i need a different approach then situps, because they are only toneing my abs, not my lower stomach. if anyone has any ideas (exercise and/or deiting) it would be greatly appreciated!
Do crunchs.... Theres a difference between sit-upd and crunches. Also, do cardio workouts. It burns fat all over the body. My Father is a trainer and has helped me with this problem also.... It bugged the shit out of me. But like running also helps... So does swimming, bike riding, aerobics, yoga....etc. Anything that gets your body moving..... One thing that helped get my in the shape im in was dancing... Like just go into your room... Shut your door...Turn on music(preferably dance music) and start dancing... do anything.... no matter how stupid... do this for like 30 minutes-1 hour... Maybe longer if you get up to it.... At first you wont see results.....Dont quit then. Just keep at it and after a month you will start seeing changes..... your more in shape... your body is more fit and your target area is getting worked on.... this also tones your inner/outer thighs, your arms, your chest, your but, your calves, your upper abdomen, and your lower adomen.

The guy I'm kinda seeing likes the "natural look"; no makeup, real breasts, and he prefers I don't shave because it's more natual, things like that. I'm at that point where I haven't quite snagged him as a boyfriend yet, but I'd really like to, so I'm willing to kind of change my style to make myself more attractive to him.Right now, my style would probably be labeled as "emo", and I wear alot of vintage-inspired clothing as well.

Even when it's cold, I sweat, and yeah i put deodorant on EVERDAY. but i still sweat ALOT and it shoes on my shirts. and im a girly girl and i love wearing short sleeve shirts, but i don't want that to SHOW. are there any deodorants that can stop it from showing? Well there are conditions that make you sweat perfusely. You might want to go to your family Physician and see whats going on. Your doctor might be able to prescribe a special medicated deodorant that will help with the sweating.

Get some glycerin at a pharmacy to mix with mushed-up avocado skin. Then speard over your face as a "paste." Leave on for 16 minutes. The unsaturated fat content in the avocado skin softens your skin, to leave it moisturized.

okay i know girls are suposed to shave down there, but i dont really know how. If i used like Nair, or something will it come off? Anyone know from experience or know someone whos tried it, and it worked?
Dont EVER use nair down there. It will hurt worse then anything you have ever felt.... if you go to your local drugstore, there are products that a formulated to deal with the unwanted hair ''down there.''
And if you can't choose.. find the youngest female clerk thre and as her what product she would recommend. Easy and simple.

I'm an 18-year-old female and lately my hair has been falling out like crazy. It's mostly when I brush it but even with just running my hand threw it, some still comes out. When I run my hand threw it's maybe like, 6 strands or so. But, when brushing it's like a wad of hair.
My hair used to be really thick and now it's like half of what it used to be about 7 months ago. That's alot of hair to loose!! I'm really scared because it seems like I'm going bald of something. My friends say it's stress but quite honestly, I have nothing to be stressed about!

Two of my best friends has really done something horrible to me behind my back & I heard of it later, and they apologized about it all and everything, but I still can't seem to trust them much and I still can't forgive them much for it. What should I do? I am 14 and female.
Talk to them about it and tell them how you felt when they did that. At first it will look like there not paying attention but they are actually just trying to deny that fact that they really are listening. Ask them why they did that to you.
And just communicate. Thats the best thing you can do. And in the end, if it still feels like you can't trust them, still be friends with them, jsut dont tell them valuble secrets.

i have a huge problem....i am completely in love with my ex, but he has a girlfriend. i have known this guy longer then i have known anyone besides my family. he was even at my first birthday party. we were together off and on for 3 years and i cant get over him. i have gone out with several guys this year trying to get over him and its just not working. and like 2 months ago we had talked about getting together but then we just stopped talking out of no where and the my "bestfriend" went out with him and then cheated on him. so they broke up and now he is going with this nice girl but i have never really liked her anyways. i love him so much and i want to be with him more then anything and i knwo you are probably thinking he has a girlfriend so just get over him but i cant. he has my heart for the longest time and i dont want anyone else to have it, i think he still has feelings for me because he always choose me first over everyone and vice versa and he goes out with a lot of girls but never stays with them long but he did with me , we were together once for 6 months last time.... please help me because i need help so bad to get over him or get back with him.... thanks in advance
Well hun, if you love him as much as you say you do, then you would know that you would only want whats best for him. Which means makeing him happy. So if he decideds to date other women, then you should respect his desicion. But maybe he hasn't moved on. Maybe he still has feelings for you, but he doesn't know you have feelings for him. I think you should open up and tell him how you feel.... It would be a lot better for your consience. Because your being selfish, saying you want him and you love him and everything. But love is all about selflessness, Careing about the other person. I didn't really under stand the concept untill i met my current husband (even though im only 19 years old i know what love is) But Hunny, just talk to him and everything will work out fine.

Sorry if this is to long for you, i just need some help. My mom has been having problems with her health lately, and she has not been doing very well. She went to the doctors about 5 days ago and she found out that she might have cancer but they are still checking, the thing is she won't know until monday or later and i don't think i can wait that long. They think she might have cancer because she has blood in her urine. It is not visible blood but they do know that it is in there. They have checked her for other things such as urinary track infection and they do not believe it is that, and i am really worried. The doctor says she is extremely scared that it is cancer. I live with my mom, i dont know what i would do with out her. If you have any info about what type of cancer this maybe if it is cancer please let me know, and i know this may sound incredibially cheesy but if you could pray for my mom that would be a huge help to. It seems like everything in her life for her has been messing up lately, and i just want things for her to be better. I would appreciate it, if you did not send me back things calling me stupid because i am doing this, i'm just a worried daughter afraid of loosing basicially her everything. Thank you so much, i rate 5's for anyone who even attempts to help.
Well hun, Sorry to say but i dont know anything about this type of cancer, but definantly count on me praying for you. Cause cancer is tuff stuff and very hard to live with someone who has it, seeing them suffer and be in pain. But god will help you through hun. Dont Worry.

Sisterhood of the traveling pants is a good book to read. My sister read that for a 7th grade reading project a few years back. She enjoyed the book and got really into it.(mind that she usually hates reading and everything that has to do with it.)
I would also recomend a Nancy Drew book. Those are very good if your into mysteries.
Then ther is a series... Even at my age (which is 19) I enjoy.
The shadow Children's book. There about how in the future, the governm,ent comes up with law that every family can only have up to 2 children. Then theres a family who has the three children. The third one is Luke. He is what you consider a shadow child.
It shows his troubles and tribulations as trying to find bpeace and trying to fix the world of evil known as the population police.
Its a GREAT series, And i think you would love it.
