i never have time to change tampons between classes! How do you find time to change tampons at school?
hey gurlz,
how can i make time to change my tampon at school? i never have time in between classes, and i dont like to leave the class w/ my purse b/c everbody would know. i usually don't put stuff in mypurse b/c all my friends go through it. i usually ut stuff in my lunch box, and change during lunch. can any of u give me advice on how to manage it?

its not something to be ashamed of so you should just go to the bathroom with your purse.... the thing is tho... it happens a week out of every month... well what you should do is take your purse to the bathroom with you everytime u go wether that is the reason or not! if thats to hard for you just reach into your lunch box and slip one up your sleeve not letting anyone see and then go to the bathroom!! it should work... hope i helped!

first of all..cant you leave tampons in for 6-8 hours..and school is only about 5 hours..so why would u have to change it inbetween classes?..that kind of confused me..but if your scared of your friends seeing it..you shouldn't be..they all go through the same things as you...although if you have guy friends that go through it it might not be such a great idea...but i think if u change it durring lunch that should be fine..i wouldn't worry about it k hun

If you wear pockets, just stuff em in there. Also, um...so what if everybody knows? It's not like it's that bad or anything. NEVER EVER EVER leave it in for more than 8 hours or you will get Toxic Shock Syndrome. Trust me, it's happened to my friend. well try and use a compact tampon, they work really good! then know one suspects anything! then like kept in your pocket. (i know what you mean,my friends go threw my purse to!)

well tampons can stay in for up to 8 hours. usually i put one in just before i go to school and then take it out as soon as i get home, use a bigger size (one ure sure you wont leek)i hate doing it at school too!! xxx

this would only work if you have pants with pockets but- the mini tampons work wonders ;) i had 2 in my pocket once and no one ever noticed! just stick one in your pocket, when you're in class, just ask to use the bathroom- no purse needed! =] -ask_anything

i wish i knew what grade u were in cuz this might seem alittle open.. All girls have there periods .. not matter what all gurls will sooner or later get there periods.. and guys kno it! so dont b ashamed of havin them in ur purse and if any1 takes them out, says anything or throws them around jus b like ok dont let it embarrse u.. and if ppl see that ur cool about it they'll feel stupid 4 bein immature.. and get outa class. ither put one in ur jacket pocket to take to the bathroom with u, or take ur purse and if any1s like ooo she must b on her period make a joke or b like yep i gota change my tampon.. ppl really dont care.. or sey u have mony n ur purse an u didn wana leave it in the class room i take my purse EVERYWHERE no matter what.. or jus start carryin it around like even if ur just goin to the office and then it wont seem like anybig deal when u take it to the bathroom .. and jus remember ur not alone!!!! hope this helps

Do you happen to wear a hoodie during classes? At my school, the AC is always on, so it's freezing. What I do is just put the tampon in my hoodie pocket, get my hall pass signed, and voila! Just make sure that you are holding onto the tampon with at least one hand at all times, so that it doesn't fall out.

you shouldnt be embarresed about it everyone goes through it.....i mean i used to be embarrassed too....but you really need to just get over it...ither keep it in ur purse....or hold it in ur hand walking through the hall(this will boost ur confidence too):)

You could always put your tampon in the pocket of your hoody or jacket??? And if you talk in the halls, you could alwys drag your friends to the bathroom with you...or just tell them u gotta go!!! I hope I helped!! ~Countrygurl~

What i always do is if you are wearing flared jeans or something yo ucan put the tampon in your sock and pull your socks up high so it doesnt fall out

Get tampax compact and keep one in your pocket. They are very small and descreet so nobody will notice. That way, you can leave classes without anyone batting an eyelid.

Sorry, but I think you need to go during class! I know it sucks, but I don't think guys realize what's going on most of the time. And girls won't care, bc in a couple weeks they'll be doing the same thing. Hope I helped!

wat i do is i either go rite after lunch cuz it's rite in the middle of school. and/or i go and say i have to use the restroom rite before the bell rings. and just but the tampon in my pocket or take my purse wid me. hope i helped

buy tampax compact that is wut i use i am 13 and in 8th grade and it works well cuause it is small and it fits in ur pocket hope i helped

hey, don't be worried if other people know.. every girl will get their period sometime in life.. and the guys.. if they can't deal with it.. they will never get married.. haha.. but its normal! don't be scared about people knowing.. me and my friends are open about it and like pass tampons across the room.. its nothing weird.. i promise!.. don't worry about ur friends going through ur pocketbook either.. they wont think ur weird.. and if u still don't like it.. tell them not to!.. but good luck.. need ne thing else feel free to ask!

Between classes tell your teacher u need extra time. She'll understand, you're a girl. If u need to change during lunch, you could wait for everyone to leave or just change. Hmmm... at my school, there is not time to change your pads or tampons, so, everyone just wears a tampon AND a pad so that are covered for the day... i hoped i helped!! :)

look, who cares if people know you have your period. this is a natural and very common thing. you are acting like YOU are the only person in class who gets it. if you gotta go and change your tampon, then you gotta go, you shouldnt feel embarassed. trust me, kids in school are worried about waaaay more juicer gossip, then someone having thier period. so just keep tampons in your purse and if you have to leave class then go. but if this a really big deal for you (which it shouldnt be) then maybe you should wear a panty liner for back up protection. that way if you leak before lunch youll still be safe.

Put it in your pockets or under your shirt when you are going to the bathroom in between classes. Or put it in your bra or something. Not your lunchbox that's like the number 2 things people look in besides books bags. Hope i helped ya -Bianca

My period is more... less frecuent than avarage I gguess so fortunately I don't have to worry every three weeks (l.o.l.) ...Well lunch is a good time.Or nutrition. Don't you have a backack or something? Or when you have your period go to school wearing one and get one from the nurses' office. OR take your purse to the restroom. Maybe you're being paranoid... girls go to the restroom with their purses to apply on their make up.
It's eassy if you go STRAIGHT to the restroom right when the bell rings for nutrition or lunch. I don't think you should stuff yor tampoon in your lunch box... if you ever drop it or something... it'll be sooo freaken emebrrasing.
Wait! You wear tampoons istead of pads? Well you can use the new ones that are in a little wrapper and really eassy to hide.
I'm sorry I can't help. I don't find it difficult to hide my pads... but I don't really let my frieds go through my purse. Maybe if you didn't let them go through your purse in your time of the month... I really have n mre help to offer.

well you dont have to change them at school you can keep them in for 7 hours. but if u have to like go to ur locker slip on up ur shirt sleve and go to the bath room no one will ever no. and so what if ur friends find them everyone has to have them.good luck
