Jessika1023 answered Monday August 23 2004, 2:23 pm: Buy some Icy Hot and rub it on the spots that hurt. It does work good. Also, eating something with peppermint in it will work for cramps as well. [ Jessika1023's advice column | Ask Jessika1023 A Question ]

Leigh answered Saturday August 21 2004, 6:41 pm: You know midol really works. You should also get a heating pad and put it on your stomach. Yo soothe your stomach you could also take a warm bath. That always works for me.

jeanine278972 answered Saturday August 21 2004, 1:18 pm: I usually take IBUprofen. Its the only thing that really helps me. Also, even if it hurts, move around a lil bit. It does help a lil. Maybe try taking Tylenol would help too. Thats the only way I know how to get rid of them. [ jeanine278972's advice column | Ask jeanine278972 A Question ]
OreoGirl answered Saturday August 21 2004, 12:43 pm: take midol or there are stretches you can do.
sit on the floor with ur legs outstretched. grab ur ankles or shins; bend from the hips to extend ur head and hands towards ur toes. keep ur back long as u turn ur elbows out. hold for 60 seconds.
heat pads also help. just put it on the places ur having cramps and it can relieve some of the pain.
xlostangelx answered Saturday August 21 2004, 12:07 pm: leave a heating pad on your tummy where the pain is for how ever long it takez to get the pain to go down!! that ALWAYS works for me..actually, itz the ONLY thing that workz at all for me!! i love heating padz cuz the hot heat goes to just the right spots and makes the pain go bye-bye !!
for me it usually takez about 20 minutes for the pain to slow down while using a heating pad...i sometimes take a nap while its on my belly and its soo relaxing and helps bunches!!
OR...yu can always take ibruprofen or another medicine that takez crampz away such as Midol. those things work for some ppl also.
hope i helped!! hang in there!!
if you need any more help, dont be afraid to ask!!
my s/n for AIM is in my advice column, or you could just put it in my inbox!!

charmed-cherry21 answered Saturday August 21 2004, 11:37 am: Excercizing helps to keep them from returning its probably because your muscles arent being moved enough. I think that there is some sort of pill type thing or pad that you put where the cramp is (kinda like a heating pad) and it helps. *Haleigh Ann* [ charmed-cherry21's advice column | Ask charmed-cherry21 A Question ]

UnluckyWishes answered Saturday August 21 2004, 10:55 am: Whatever you do dont have a alot of caffine, it just causes more pain.Try and eat healthy foods when you have your cramps. If your able to, try to just sit on your floor, and try doing simple strches like bringing your arms to your toes, or bring your knees close{bend them} to your body hold for like 30seconds or so then just slowly release.Hopefully that will help you.
