Ok i have a really important question. i really want to have sex but i am not sure when girls can get pregnate. i have already have my period but is it after u get it wheil u have it or what?? plz help me

The possiblity of you getting pregnant is the smallest during your period. But, there is ALWAYS the possibilty of you getting pregnant. Just make sure that you use a condomn and maybe if birth control if you're that worried. Don't worry about anybody having to find out about the birth control. wow...remember that this is a REALLY big deal. not just some thing that you do, and then forget about. buttt..if you're asking this question, then obviously you know about the big commitment thing and blah blah blah. But yes, as soon as a girl has her very first period, you can get pregnant ANY time after that, whether you're on it or not on it. Plain and simple. you can get pregnant when ever. as long as you had it already. i wouldnt try it. theres alot of risks. your too young... if you dont know that already. i wouldnt try it at your age. emagine having to tell your mom ur pregnant... think about it really hard and do what ever feels right. just remember you can get pregnant no matter what its not 100% if you use a condom or if you do it at a certain time witch w/e time you do it theres like a 75% chance... i think. well, think about what everybody tells you and see what seems right to you.

It's easiest to get pregnant about two weeks before your period, but you can get pregnant at any point in time, as long as you have your period. That's why you should ALWAYS use some sort of protection. The chances of getting pregnant while you're on your period are rare, but it IS possible.
Again, you can get pregnant at any point in time if you don't use protection.

So if you don't know this then your most likely too young to have sex anyway. but to answer your question: Ovulation occurs around the middle of a woman's cycle. If you have a 28-day cycle, for example, then you'll usually ovulate on the 14th day, counting the first day of your period as the first day of your cycle. If your period lasts seven or eight days, by the time you finish menstruating you're only five or six days away from ovulating. When you ovulate you can get pregnant. And just to note: sperm can live inside of you for 2 or 3 days so It's possible to get pregnant after your period. The best thing to is just use a condom and maybe consider getting the pill if you're going to continue to be sexually active.
