If you're not ready for tampons, you can still go swimming, as your period should stop in the water. Just make sure to bring extra pads!! ]
why dont you just switch to tampons? they are so much easier and conveinent. and you can swim with them! TA DA! if you dont want to totally switch from pads to tampons, then only use one for that day. ]
Help,
I know what you mean I have had my period for almost 2 years but I can't wear tampons and it sucks but I would ask your mom what she thinks you should do
Hope I helped

you should wait till the morning to see if you got it if you didnt then go and swim if you did go and sit out by the pool and tell your friend why you cant swim ]
Tryin using a tampon now ]
Ok first off all your going to get it unless it comes late.and when you swim you cant wear pads so your going to have to wear a tampon or just not swim. i hope i helped. ]
Well, if you have your period that day, wear a tampon. If not, then you don't even have to wear a pad. Your period might not come if it's just your second. Mine took four years to almost regulate itself, and that was after I went on the pill.
I was a pad wearer, too, but I discovered after awhile that tampons rock, lol. They're much more comfy and one hell of a lot less messy!
If you don't have your period before you get to the party, don't wear a tampon, but take one with you so you can remedy the situation if you end up with your period at the party.
Good luck/have fun!

it is most likely that if you got ur period you wont get it regular because if you get it for you're first time you dont get it again for about 3-5 months..but if you do u shud try tampons..xox hope i helped ]
you never know
your best bet is to see how comfortable you are with a tampon in, but if u don't want to, then here's this
dependin on if u have or haven't started skool by the day of ur period, okay, well sum1 i kno said that the health teacher said that because of sum gravity thing, then the blood won't cum out in the pool
i don't really believe that, cuz i didn't actually here it from the teacher, and because it's hard to belive
but i say u go, but just hang out around the pool
or where the smallest pad u can and just float like on a floaty thing, u can get sumthin like that for around $2 at big lots, and it actually isn't 'cheap' as in it works
Good Luck, just try the tampon, if not then don't go in the pool ]
Ew, don't you hate it when that happens? Sorry to say it sweetie, but that will happen more times than you know.
There's a very good chance that you won't get your period. Periods don't come on schedules where they happen in exactly a month. It does have some leway.
But, even if you do get your period, there's a way around it. Be happy, because I just happen to know what it is. This will be our little secret:
Even if you're on your period, if you go into cold water, no blood will come out. It's just cold water that stops the bleeding. Once you get out of the pool, you might wanna run to the bathroom and grab some toilet paper, but nothing will happen while you're actually IN the pool. My only other piece of advice is to stay away from wearing a bikini. Periods + Bikinis= Don't Mix.
So don't worry about it. Have fun! Go all out! Don't let a little week in your month spoil your great time at your friend's party.

You are probably not going to get it the same day. It's only your 2nd period and those are usually never around the same time as your first. You're still not regular, so don't worry so much! If you are still worried, bring a tampon with you. I know its only your 2nd period, but there are tampons that are slender/skinny and very easy to insert + use. I would def. go with those kind of tampons since your period will be light even if you do get it. hope i helped xo ]
you might not get it but you also cud get it so if this party means alot to u nd ur friend then maybe you shud try tampons a lil sooner nd u dont havta wear them all the time after that if ur not readii but u mite wanna try for jus this once..<3 ]
Yeah, there is a chance that you might not get it. but the thing is that you might get it also. So i think since she is your best friend you may have to give tampons a try a little sooner than you want to. if you put them in right than there should be no problem at all.
Hope I Helped....Alina ]
i had the exact same problem!! the second time i got it..i got it a totally different day, its likely that your probably not gonna get your period on the same exact day, so you'll be free to go swimming! ]
u mgith get it but idk ur early so itll prly be irregular...if u do get it on tht day then go anyway n just wear shorts n a pad..jus cuz its a pool party duznt mean u HAVE 2 get in the water..u can still have fun ]
well if i was you i would still were one just in ccase my cycle is not regular either and i dont wear tampons yet either but since you are going swimming you should were one just to be on the safe side and if you dont swim you can still go but not swim you can put your feet in and that kinda stuff if you dont were tampons well i hope that i helped

Well, it's really hard to say about your period coming or not. If it's only your 2nd there is a good chance that it won't happen during the party. Periods don't regulate for a long time especially since your body is going through this change. If it does start, the only thing I can recommend is a tampon unfortunately, otherwise, you might have to sit this one out. I hope this helps and good luck.
