loosing 10-15lbs this month. urgent advice please. Posted Wednesday August 1 2007, 7:30 pm
okay. so i'm 5'4 and a half, 145lbs. i want to weigh 130lbs by September or sooner. i was thinking of a low-fat, healthy diet with 5 nights of excersise.
my diet plan is this:
breakfast- oatmeal, bannana + yogurt, water.
OR english muffin, bannana + yogurt, water.
OR Instand Breakfast Smoothie (instand breakfast mix, bannana, nonfat yogurt, milk, + ice)
snack- watermelon, or some fruit.
lunch- slimfast bar and carrots.
snack- pretzals, veggies, or fruit
dinner- chicken with rice and corn
OR Lean Cousine, Healthy Choice.
what foods should i avoid?
cheese? or what?
do you think i can do it if i eat that and work out for an hour 5x a week?

I am in a group of 4 girls. They are always complaining about being fat(because they are very "womanly" with well defined hips) and point at me and my other friend(aka.May) saying we are sticks whitch we aren't. I am like 5'9" and 127-130lbs and May is 5'9" and 125-128lbs. We both don't look like a "woman" we don't have hips our like an 'hour glass' shape we have more of a boys body i guess you could say.
My question is are my friends actually fat?
Meg: 5'6" and 136lbs
Sara: 5'5" and 140lbs
IDK why i need to know i just do. Its been bothering me and i need to show them that they aren't fat. They won't beilieve me or May.

if you have not fat but not thin.. ((kind in between)) arms and if you lift a weight for a while each day (5 pound weight) would the fat in your arms go away and get thinner, or would the fat remain and only the muscle would get stronger??

i am a little chubby.
not, like. REALLY overweight.
im about 5'2 and 103-105.
i really want to lose 5-8 pounds
so my first question is-
is that possible to do in 2 months or maybe a little less with proper diet and excersise?
&
what kind of diet and excersise should i do?

What are some things too eat before running so you don't get craps. I eat toast, but i still get craps. I just need some ideas. And breathing techniques.thanks!

In the morning, I run 1/2 a mile on my treadmill, then do 25 sit-ups. I repeat it like that until I've run 2 miles & done 100 sit-ups. I do the same thing at night. So all together I run 4 miles & do 200 sit-ups. I'm trying to lose as close to 20lbs. by August 29, when I start school. Besides running & sit-ups, what other exercises can I do? The weight I need to lose is on my legs (majorly my thighs), my arms, & most importantly, around my stomach & hips.
I just need some help on what other exercise I can do to help reach my goal.

about how long in months would it take to lose, say 20 pounds if one runs, stretches, and does some toning excercises once in the morning every day for an hour?

When is the best time to do sit ups?
-before breakfast (when I wake up)
-after breakfast
-before lunch
-after lunch
-before dinner
-after dinner
-between lunch and dinner
-before bed time
And how many should you do in a day just to be fit?

Hey. I'm 13, female. I was wondering, becuase I don't have any gym access, or really a place to run most times, how could i lose alot of weight, say 10, 15 pounds, by the first day of school?
Today is July 30. I need to lose this weight by September 4th.
How can I do it?!

I'm planning on joining the Air National Guard this coming month with my best friend. One reason I'm doing this is so I can get money for college & a little extra money to put in my pocket. But I also want to join because I think it would be a good thing for me to get into. I plan on doing it part-time and for 6 years.
But my question is about basic training. I'll probably leave somewhere around September 22 & I'll be at Lackland AFB in Texas. Anyways, I REALLY need to get into shape before then. So what are some exercises I can do to get in shape? I mainly need help with push-ups & other things for upper body strength because I have zero, lol. Also, I'd like to know what all is expected of me to do while I'm there. Thanks!

well i run and swim like 3-5 times a week.
im 140lbs/5ft/14/f.
i wanna know what will get the flab off my arms, like the part if you make like a T its on the bottom. like will running help, or what else should i do?

&i want it to be before school starts so like september 1st, the flab will be gone.

i want really flat sexy abs.
i tried doing situps but they are not really working. anyone have any advice on what i can do. i mean im not overweight. im 16, female, 5'6", 122lbs.
i just have love-handles and that pouch that all girls have.
i would really like to be more fit and i have a hard stomach its just not built or cut.

today is July 30th. School starts on September 7th, and I'll be in the 8th grade. I know its only about a month before I go back, but starting today, i want to get fit. I'll probably be moving to a different place by the end of this year, so i want to leave a lasting impression on these kids.. some whom I've known since i was about 6 years old.
so how can i do this? i don't really like to run, but i've been waking up early the past few days to run with my sister and my friend. my friend plays travel soccer, so shes used to running alot, and my sister has been running all summer. so a lot of times i get tired easily.. i hate that. i love to play sports, but i don't really play any during the summertime. i'v...

Does running outside every day for a long time make your legs slimmer, or will it just add muscle instead? if it adds muscle, how can I promote more weight-loss than muscle-growth?

i read a question on here once where someone asked what the little "v" lookin thing on a girls lower back was, since not a lot of girls have it i guess.. and someone said its a muscle. i searched for the question but couldnt find it. if its a muscle, how can i tone my back so i can get it? certain exercises or anything. 16/f

I'm 15/f and I weigh 115 pounds. I'm not fat, but abs and a less jello-y (if you will) butt would make me happy :). I walk my dog a mile everyday that's about it. Does anyone know any good workout schedules that I could go by? Or does it matter on what kind of person I am?

Hi, I am new here and I need some advice. I am 14 and Im a girl, and I weigh 127 pounds. I want to lose weight, and get thinner, but I can't seem to stick to any diet, or stick to any exercise thing. I'll be good for like a few days, but then all my friends are pigging out so I end up doing it too! How can I learn to discipline myself, so I can get a better body and be healthier? and please dont say I should just be me or whatever, I need something that works.

ok here is my workout scheduale, im a male and 15, 5'10, 170 pounds
Chest and Biceps
Triceps and Back + shoulders
Legs can have their own day
One day should be committed to just cardio
One rest day, at least
Everyday you can do abs...abs are core muscles that can be worked everyday, along with obliques
Now I have some free weights, a flat bench, two bars, and thats about it. what are some excersises i can do with those to work thesse out the best i can for eachday
