i want really flat sexy abs.
i tried doing situps but they are not really working. anyone have any advice on what i can do. i mean im not overweight. im 16, female, 5'6", 122lbs.
i just have love-handles and that pouch that all girls have.
i would really like to be more fit and i have a hard stomach its just not built or cut.
RATZY answered Monday July 30 2007, 11:37 am: Crunches start by laying down on our back on the floor with knees bent and slowly raises our torso. The range of motion is very short. Visualize that you are trying to touch your ribcage to you hips. You can cross your hand over the chest or put them behind your head to add difficulty. Sit ups beyond about 45 degrees are not recommended because the hip flexors take over then. Crunches on a medicine ball provide a longer range of motion. Holding weights while you do crunches is for advanced workouts that want to build muscular six pack abs. Working on our abs every day will be boring unless you add rock music for fun or spice them up with in lingerie for motivation.
