When you've got any type of sickness, you should:

- Rest.
- Drink lots of liquids; preferably Ginger Ale or Water.
- Eat crackers/soup.
- Take warm baths.
- Take medicines.

If you move around a lot & are active, it'll take a little bit longer for your cold to go away & it'll only be a burden to you more than usual. So get lots of rest & drink lots of fluids. I hope you feel better.

Rest rest rest! Try to stay in bed for one/two whole days. Keep things on your bed to keep you busy like your cell phone, books&magazines, paper and a pen. Make sure you have everything you need so you won't have to get up.

For a sore throat, ask your mom to make you some tea, or make it yourself, and put lots of honey in it. Honey soothes your throat. Make sure you have some cough drops to suck on if your throat gets dry.

For a stuffy nose, vicks vaporub works good. Rub some under your nose and it helps you breathe better. Try not to blow your nose too many times, it will get irritated and sore. Nyquil works great when you have a cold but it makes you verrry sleepy!

For any body aches, make sure you have some advil, tylenol, or motrin in the house.

Don't forget to keep hydrated. Make sure you're drinking lots of water, water flushes out your body and it will get the germs out faster!

Eat soup for lunch and dinner. For breakfast, eat whatever you usually eat and drink one to two cups of orange juice.

Feel better!

well chicken and garlic soup is good for people with flu....... you can try honey, or try this, squeeze orange, and lemon juice in to cup/ glass, add boiled kettle water not too much, and spoon of honey.
or drink lots and lots of orange juice...the good old vitamin C.
and once you recover, try taking one capsule of cod liver oil tablets daily, it will make your system more stronger.
hope this works..takecare.
