Terri Schiavo's Condition

How is it that we, as humans, can easily condem a human's life without second thought? In Terri's Schiavo's case it is understood that she could ver possibly feel pain " They are unresponsive to external stimuli, except, possibly, painful stimuli." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terri_Schiavo#Schiavo.27s_condition). So In The case of Terri Schiavo is it truly ethical and right to allow her to possibly feel the dying hunger? Put it this way, if you were unable to talk and respond or maybe even comprhend anything but pain, would you want to allow those close to you to condem you to dying by starvation? And you, would be able to feel it and do nothing about it. I just do not understand the ethical and emotional reasoning behind th...

Anyone know a good college for this?

I am 15 years old. I enjoy writing, whether it be essays for class, reports, or just stories. Writing is probably the thing that I do best in school. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good college for writing, a college with a well known or successful creative writing class. If anyone can help, the advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

ok well theres this kid who confessed his love for me and well i dont feel the same and so i figured its better to tell him the truth and not lead him on but he dosent seem to get the hint he follows me around hes like my fucking stolker and i dont want to be his close friend b/c i cant trust him and well i see how he is and i dont kno how to make it clearer w/out hurting him normally i wouldnt care but since i ko how it feels to love somebody and not be loved in return so help pleaze he dosnt get the freaking clue

Born Gay?

One of my very close friends believes he was born gay. I just don't understand his belief in that. Why is it that some people can be 'born gay' and others not? I just don't understand that concept in life. Can anyone explain to me why some can be born gay and others not?

Blurting rude things out

I have found myself snapping at people calling them complete morons and other such insults. I do it when I am frustrated or even slightly annoyed. I have no patience for anyone it seems. Later on I regret saying such things. I've said these things to friends and family, and even my boyfriend ,whom I adore. But when the moment hits me it seems I can't prevent the waspish comments from bursting out. How do I explain to these people why I say such things? I've hurt their feeling and it really upsets me. I don't mean to be mean. It seems i just can't help it.

There is this guy that I have been friends with for a little while at school. We went to a frat party together and were dancing and having fun. Yes we were both slighty inebriated but thats besides the point. I kind of like him and when we were dancing he kissed me and we made out for a little bit. I don't know what to think of it because I kind of have feelings for him. We have been hanging out and flirting but haven't kissed again. He did make some comments like, you looked really good tonight but only on AIM. Is he just really shy or do you think it was just a random drunk thing?

Ok well i came on a trip to my cuzins house and i met his friend Robie well Robie is very cute and now i am going out wit him.Well that is all good and all for while i am here but ten again i live in California and he lives in Oklahoma. I am afraid that this is not going to work out but i want it to sooooo bad because i hella like him but what should i do i am considering moving back here but idk if i can so please help me!!!

I have a problem with boys, none of them like me. If one of my friend's tells a boy I like them they pretend to gag and stuff. Well I was at a dance and there was this really hot boy and my friend asked him to dance with me and he said no so my other friend asked him and he said I have a girlfriend as an excuse to not make me feel upset. What can I do to get boys to like me?

Casual Sex

How can it be that you can have casual sex? I am a virgin and some of my friends have had sex. Those who have also have casual sex. I just don't understand how you can have sex without having a comitment. Doesn't it still end up being a comitment because someone will want a relationship. It's natural for humans to want to have a relationship. So why is it that people can have casual sex with different people without a more serious relationship??

My parents know that I want to listen to Green day and Bowling for soup and a large variety of other music bands, but won't let me. I'm 13, but they prolly think it's too young. How can I convince them that I enjoy music and am missing out on a lot without it?? And besides-I should be entitled to what they had.

This guy seemed to like me for a while and so i made a move by subtlely flirting with him. thing is-i ended up falling head over heals for him. everytime i'd see him...my friends would make a really big deal-almost everyone knew i liked him...but after that he started to stop smiling the way he did...and now we don't talk or wave or smile...what happened?

To Hard to belive i went to paris and in the 4 days i was there 3 amazing things happened i got my 1st boyfriend (he asked me out in Versailles in the hall of mirrors) The next day I turned 14 and then on the 12 hour plane ride back I got my first kiss. Is that to hard to belive? Or am i just thinking it is and over reacting. I just dont no what to do and i am new at this but how can i make a move??
So what i am asking is:

Ok. One of my guy friends has a girlfriend, but he hangs out with me and my other friend more. So now his girlfriend is mad at him and now he can't hang out with us exept at school. It's really making me sad and neither of us wants this. What should I do?

sunburn?

hey! okay, today i went tanning for the frist time. i went in a medium ed for 10 minutes, and used the special lotion they give you. i came home tonight, more than 6 hours later, and took a shower. just one certain spot on me is red, actually 2. it's normally where i get sunburn. could i have possibly gotten sunburn , or is it like an allergic reaction to the lotion? i don't think it's the lotion, since wouldn't i have gotten taht all over my body? just wondering if it is sunburn how can i prevent it next time and put anything on it to make it go away? thanks!
