Is this an abnormal way of responding?

Okay, I have a pretty messed up life and I've been abused mentally and physically by my parents and other kids, in that order. I'm 12 years old and have depression and PTSD. I am required to see a councilor by my school. Take into consideration that these are very little details of what actually goes in my life. Whenever I get sad, I cut, write in my diary, and then I listen to really sad music and write poems for hours. Is this an abnormal way of responding?

How does a person stop thinking of killing themselves?

When you have no family, friends or people who you can talk to what do you do to cope?? I want to be dead, i want to say good bye to everything that I see every day. I have tried all sorts of meds and counseling and it does not help. All my life I have tried to make people happy and it is always thrown back into my face, so why try?

Okay so this guy is really showing he is intrested in me. He walks me to classes and is always telling me that im preety and stuff like that.. Im a 15year old girl and Honestly i dont want a boyfriend. Im not into the whole relationship thing.To tell you the truth it kind of scares me.. I like being single. Dont get me wrong, this guy is actually super nice and a gentleman but i dont want him to be anything more than a friend. How do i tell him im not intrested in the nicest way possible? Im a person who doesn't like hurting others so i really need help on how to tell him that im not the person that likes all that Relationship stuff. Im too young for that. Please help thanks (:

I have a boyfriend i have been with for a year and he has always been controlling. I am at the point were i cant take him telling me what i can and cannot do. I have told people about him and all of them have said get out now he is going to become abusive. I believe them because there have been times where he gets so angry that he is about to punch me but ends up not doing it. I am so sick of all the pointless pain. I am trying to get out now but he keeps saying i will change i cant live without you. I can't get out someone help. Please :(

grade trouble

i'm currently in high school and I've promised my self that this year i will study and will not leave my assignment till the due date and so far i have kept to me promise but when i get my projects and tests back my mark does not seem to improve. Also i have this friend that studies at the last minute and copies of my home work and notes and she gets better marks then me. what am i doing wrong? help please

Hi internet advice givers.I have some problems,it seems,i dont know.And I need them to stop.Im a 13 year old girl and puberty has nothing to do with it.I have a problem with self harm/self mutilation(since age 11),anxiety and depression.I have a lot of suicidal thoughts too, and how tottaly normal and comfortable I am with all this scares me,I guess Im just used to it but its not a very good thing to get used to.Yes my parents do know, but I did not willingly tell them.Ive been going to some therapy,and its not helped.After my mom read my journal(she took it) she thinks that I need to go to some kind of cutters rehab and thats scary too.Ive attemted suicide twice now,once when i was 11 and cut verticly on my left arm with a sharp object but...

Well basically there is this guy at my skl and he's asked my best friend a couple of times if I would give him head,or a hand job ,so after skl my friend deliberately planned for us all to play dirty dares( basically 21 dares but the dares are sexual) and she sort of kept bringing up that this boy wanted me to wank him off, to sort of force us into it anyways so he got all shy coz he thinks his dick is too small etc. But he says he wants to do it and I sort of want to but he has a girl friend in another school and he wants me do it in the park? Special Birthday Sex

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and I want to do something special for him in a sexual sense, he shares his birthday with his daughter so most the day we are going to be doing children things, and then go to dinner with his parents. He won't have much of a chance to do his own thing and I wanted to surprise him when we got home, I bought some nice lingerie but I'm not sure what to do beyond that.
When it comes to sex he does mostly everything, I want him to just sit back and relax though. But I don't have a clue, when I'm on top we just can't get in rhythm with each other, I don't know what to do and I don't want to feel foolish when I make an idiot of myself in the bedroom, it's his special day and I want to make him feel special.
Any tips or advice?

I can never seem to think of my children first. I am in a deep depression right now, honestly. I lost someone very important to me. This will make me sound the worst type of white trash, but I am desprate. I dated this guy shortly before he did 6 years in prison. I wrote at first, but then.. well , I'm 25 at the time, relativly attractive, and never did promise to "wait". Took the advice that cons are losers , move on, etc. Broke his heart when I had my son. Fast forward 3 years, He and I have been talking, gonna work it out, etc., till I meet a nice guy, good job, promises me the moon etc etc. Once again listening to "common sense" left Derrick odd man out. I found out my live in boyfriend was having an affair with a married woman. I told him I knew and he says he ended it. He says he did it with her because she came onto him. Her being married made it safe, because the relationship wouldnt go anywhere.He said he cheated because he thought I didn't want him. She keeps calling him texting, shes even been calling our house phone daily blocking her number and hanging up. The affair took place in her and her husbands home. She also told him I keep driving back and forth by her house(I don't know where she lives). What do you make of this situation? My boyfriend and I are in counseling and recently got married.

Hi I'm M/22 and I'm from the Philippines. I came out when i was in 1st year college, but not to everyone, but my family knows about my sexual orientation. I have this dilemma in life that i always fall in love with straight guys, but im cool with that, but im not cool with the fact that he doesnt know that I'm gay... i've been with the circle of friends for almost a year now and 2 of my friends know that im gay... what to do with my feelings for this guy? I think I really fell in love with him already... :(

should I continue schooling?

So I'm a Pharmacy Technician student currently in a 9 month program at a community college. My school offers a 2 year degree program and for a while I've been contemplating if I should do it or just get the certification.
Reasons for it: I wanna be more qualified. I wanna have a better chance at getting jobs in the future. Not just tech jobs, but like management tech jobs...stuff like that.
Reasons against it: As much as I like school, I wanna work. School is expensive. And frankly, I don't wanna continue more schooling when I don't have to. Oh and the program I'm in is nationally accredited, if that helps for some reason.
I don't want any preaching about college, please. I just want honest op...

My question is what is the difference between dating, boyfriend and girlfriend, and when a girl says she is together with you. I have met this girl of the same age as me and we started to get to know for about nine months. In that time I admitted I liked her, which caught her by surprise, but she started to begin to like me. Was my brother contacting me through a dream?

So a couple months ago (June) my oldest brother (I have two that I'm very close to) was in the passenger side of a car when some idiot teen girl was speeding,ran a red light,weaved through traffic and directly hit his side totaling both cars beyond repair and she was driving a large Dodge Charger while he was in a small car sort of like a sonata. I was the first person to find out as I picked up the phone when his coworker called telling us what happened. He lived in a county two hours away from us with his roommate/girlfriend who was out of town. When my mom called the hospital the doctors told us he wasn't going to make it and that he might not even still be here by the time we got there (driving).
His skull had been broken...
