I have a college essay and lost the original text document. I know some scanners have technology to scan documents and convert the scanned picture to editable text.
Is there a program you can download that will automatically do this? I have a normal scanner.

Hii! Ok this isn't even an advice question, so I'm hoping it doesn't get deleted, but I am really starting to wonder who DangerNerd is? Everyone always says to check with him about things that have to do with the website, so I was just wondering if he is the person who owns this site? Best Friend and Drinking

I would like to know what you would do in my situation:
My friend M (17) has always been considered straightedge. Well the other day she comes out and says "I WANT TO DRINK. I FEEL THAT I AM MISSING OUT ON MY LIFE." Now she never told me this. I had to find out through the grapevine. Well then monday night she and my boyfriend B (19) and our other friend T (18) decided to get drunk at my boyfriend's house. Now I got really upset about it. I haven't talked to M about it yet, but I know what she will say "Your time will come when you are out of high school with your liscense and you can do this stuff." I don't think there's enough questions on advicenators that mention abortions. I assume there's more females on this site then males, so why does it seem like there are mainly pro-life supporters? We're women. Women with so many choices and laws that allow us those choices. I agree in having your own opinion, but never force it onto someone else. If someone is considering an abortion, why talk them out of it, bringing it up as a sin and disgusting? I'm proud to be pro-choice & you'd think nowadays more women would be. Why aren't you?

Well, my friend "Sarah" likes this boy named "Jason" in our youth group. She made it clear that he is her territory, though he doesn't like her like that at all. My friend "Kia" is "Jason's" brother, who is my best friend. She told me that "Jason" likes me, and I like him. The sad thing is, our youth group strictly is against dating, so it wouldn't really go anywhere even if we tell each other.
So what it all boils down to is, "Sarah" doesn't know I like "Jason", and I'm going to keep it that way. I just don't want her getting mad at me when we flirt with eachother ((b/c we do ALOT)). I don't want to make her mad, but I don't think she should run my life ju...

It hurts to touch my clit, or the area to the right. The swelling just came up today, it's really red. there seems to be a vein or nerve or something that runs from the clit to the end of the lip, and the swelling is right under that. I'm not sure that it's swelling, or if it is a lump, but it is around the size of a marble or smaller, and doesn't not itch. I am sexually active, but I always use a condom and they have never broken. I'm not suer when my last period was, so I don't know if I am late or not, but I am pretty sure I'm not pregnant. What should I do. I am 16 years old by the way, and I am very sensitive down there, even shaving is really hard on my skin, so maybe it's a reaction?

hey,
I recently just got over this boy because i know i had no chance with him but now i like someone new and there two completely different people. The new person i like, vinnie, is my best friend's cousin. This best friend has liked me since kindergarten so i obviously can't tell him that i like his cousin that would crush him. I would try to get over Vinne but we kissed and we got close a lot but my best friend said he asked vinnie if he liked me and he said "i love her as a friend" hearing made me wonder what that kiss meant. Should i talk to Vinnie about it? And should i tell my best friend about it? Please help me. I'll rate for any type of advice. Thank you very much. xo

Okay, I am a 14 year old girl who recently started using tampons[[okay like two days ago]] My question is- is it suposed to hurt a little when you pull it out? Is it natural? or is it simply becuase im not used to it? please let me know. if it helps i will have my period for two years july 2nd.

ok, so here's the story:I'm a guy, and I have a twin sister. We are like totally close, like, closer than most siblings ever are. But I just found out a few days ago that she went out with this really not-so-good guy like a year ago(and by not-so-good i mean does not know how to treat a girl. AT ALL). I also just found out that this guy wants to go out with her again. I told her that I don't like him and that she shouldn't go out with him, but she's just so stubborn and rebelious sometimes! But seriously, this guy is not the best guy for her. He drinks, he smokes, he kicks GIRLS, and my sister has totally fallen for him. AGAIN. I don't know how they broke up last time, but I'm determined to stop this before it starts up again. Please Help!

I am a 16 yr old girl And I like this boy that works at a local grocery store. he is also 16. We flirt alot and we always smile at eachother, and we have hung out once with mutual friends,and i always go through his line but the thing is he wont ask me out. I have a formerly long lost sister, who I've met recently, and we've trusted each other rather quickly. She is a very private person, while I'm very open with my life. We've had dilemmas about a similar topic in the past, and this is our second time at this topic.
