my fever is 100.9 , is that bad?
I have been having horrible aches and pains, stuffed up sinuses (ears, nose, throat)
and i feel woozy half of the time.
Nallie answered Thursday June 1 2006, 8:02 pm: Basically a 100.9 temperature would still be considered a low grade fever. It's not usually serious. The "woozy" feeling could be a result of the temp or the ear/sinus congestion. A fever is really not a bad thing at all because it warns us that some kind of viral or bacterial infection is going on, and it also helps make us better. In other words it sort of "cooks" the germs. The best advice is to see a Dr, and do whatever he/she tells you, but as far as the temperature..don't be overly concerned. [ Nallie's advice column | Ask Nallie A Question ]

You should also try to saty away from the sun as much as you can until you feel better. [ x3candiigrl's advice column | Ask x3candiigrl A Question ]
Eustachius answered Thursday June 1 2006, 1:00 am: Your oral temperature range is between 97.6F and 99.6F, I believe. So you're only about a degree above normal, and that's not too bad. Keep an eye on things just in case you start feeling worse, though.
It sounds like you have the flu/cold that's been going around. Just get some rest, some vitamin C, and drink lots of fluids. Keeping your body hydrated is very important when you have the flu. [ Eustachius's advice column | Ask Eustachius A Question ]
PunkieFreak4690 answered Thursday June 1 2006, 12:53 am: This sounds like this is just the common flu. Does not sound like anything severe or critical enough to see a Doctor. If your body temperature is at least a 100 then it's considered to be a fever. But since it's a low fever, again, it's not severe. Just take cold medicine daily before bedtime, and during the daytime take aspirin which can temporarily relieve the pain from the fever and flu-like symptoms.
