Buy a car or fix the one I have...?

I have a 2009 Ford.
Its completely paid for. Big positive.
But it needs mechanical work. Big negative.
Big leak in the transmission (estimate of $1500 - $3000).
Needs new tires (2 x $125).
Minor body work (estimate $500).
And the car gets awful gas mileage, 14- 16 miles per gallon, $50 every 5 days in gasoline.
82,000 miles. Estimated appraisal of car would be $8500-12,000.
Despite these negatives, I love this car.
Very comfortable - fun to drive - roomy - large trunk - excellent leg and head room - great heat / air - great sound system.
My options are to make bare basic repairs to the car in order to se...

How to be more confident in having sex?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for a while now and he's asked me if I would like to have sex with him, we are both at the legal age of 16. I want to do this but I don't feel confident at all with my body, I'm not sure how he would want me to look. I feel embarresed about doing it and if it would be awkward, what do I do? Just sit there and let him do the work? I'm not sure if he would want me to shave or not, I would have sex with him but I'm just not confident yet, I feel as if I am ready, I want to be confident!

How can I end my relationship with my boyfriend? I don't like to continue our relationship anymore, I'm afraid maybe he will only play with me, when we were still new with our relationship he asked me if i am still a virgin, and i said yes then as days past, I just know that before we've met he is such a playboy, he like girls those who have big boobs, sexy body and he want to watch those movie in sex. Hello i am a 17 year old girl who is having a relationship crisis. I am really good friends with a girl who is one year older than me. We have been friend for quite a while now. How do I talk to my mother?

Well, you see, my mom is mad at me for having low grades. She blames me for being too lazy. She keeps telling me stories that their mom and dad teached them to do their homework and din't have to help, so why should she. They keep saying my brother and I are a failure in school. But when I ask them if they think were a failure she denies it she keeps explaining that it's not what she means. But I'll get to the point here, my mom taught me idek but about just 48% in life. And she expects me to be perfect? What the fck? Sorry for the words but yeah.

Roommate changed our diet, what do?

My gf and I got a new roommate because our apartment has an extra bedroom and it makes rent easier on us. He's a really nice guy that works in the area. He loves to cook. Since he moved in 8 months ago he has made breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts EVERY day. He said cookings a hobby for him and its great the tastes are really rich. My gf and I both think it would be rude to refuse what he makes for us so we're eating all the time. He always insists that he'll take care of things like cleaning shopping and other errands if we try one of his cakes or pies or something. We both feel lazier and sit around a lot more now. Cant help but feel lethargic and we both agree the foods so good. And we've put on about 30 lbs each and we have to wear ...

Why are things so weird now that my GF and I moved in with my parents?

We moved in with my parents about a year ago so we could save some serious money for our future. When we got settled in my mom started cooking A LOT and has been piling up our plates. My GF went along with it and started eating A LOT. She started to put on A LOT of weight. Then about 6 months later I watched her start wearing slippers and stretch pants instead of jeans and heels. By now I've put on weight too. So, I talked to my GF privately last night:
Me: Hey honey, I feel like I'm getting fat. Wanna start dieting with me? GF: I think you're confusing "fat" with "happy" we're living like royalty.
Not sure what's going on, but it's weird. On the other hand, our savings account is not laughable anymore.

A freaky weirdo who hangs around without an ID and tried to abduct two kids after school lives unpunished near my school, and I don't wanna go to school any more, what if he's stalking me, or tries to harm me? I'm only 10 and I don't wanna die or be tortured and raped! We have cops and all parents and teachers have been alerted of this, but I wanna hide and never go to my school again! What should I do?

He always yells at me and bosses me,and any time I get upset he mocks me, and some things he calls me like a gerk or bitch or asshole really hurts my feelings. But he doesn't care, he yells at me so loudly, and charges at me, and sometimes he slaps me, then claims he just taps me, but just now he made my thumb sting numbly, it's hard to explain. But a few times he left red marks. I kind of got used to it, and it's not just me, he screams at the top of his lungs at my 3 year old autistic brother, wich is harsh, don't you think? I've also heard him call my mom a hoar and a hoe and a stupid bitch, and other horrible names, and I'm not even going to share what he does to my sister. Once he took one of our cars (we've got 2) and didn't come back...

My nails are horrible!

I'm a 14 year old girl and my nails are disgusting, the white bits are peeling off and it's embarresing too! I cut my nails once a week and I use Avon cream which Is supposed to keep your nails nice but it doesn't seem to work? Is it because I'm not getting enough of something?

So, I'm 14 and he is 16, we've been talk for a while now and we met up yesterday. He asked me out because everything went trails well and we'd both admitted we liked eachother, we sat by these toilets and spoke for hours. We were just cuddling and we kissed a few times but he asked me if I wanted to go In the toilets with him... Obviously I knew what he meant by that and I did say no as I'm 14.
Later on in the evening he text me saying that he think we rushed things a bit, I did agree but I don't see why it was a problem as we were both fine in he day. He also said he still wants to meet me, does this mean he's using me?
I don't know where I went wrong, he said I hadn't done anything...

I am a 22 year old female and I just contracted genital herpes about 2 months ago. I am taking daily medication for it, and always use condoms, and would never have sex with any present sores. I read that with daily suppressive therapy and condom use, there is about a 1-2% chance of passing herpes from female to male, including shedding.
If it is that tiny of a risk that I would pass it to my current partner, what is the point of telling him I have it? Also, 80% of people who have herpes dont know they have it, and therefore are not taking any medication, making it a lot less risky to have sex with me than just some random girl, especially with such a low percentage of me passing it anyways. So, without lecturing me, please ...

I was recently diagnosed with genital herpes. I am on daily suppressive therapy, and always use condoms. If I have sex with my current partner, and by some chance give him herpes (since it is possible even with a condom..thats how I got it), and then I give him head, am I essentially giving myself oral herpes? Like if he gets it genitally from us having sex, and then basically he gives it back to me orally. Is that even possible to pass herpes genitally to oral in that way? Thanks!

This summer my ex came around to help with hay bailing and we started this no strings attached. And I honestly thought that was what he wanted. Then for Fourth of July I had plans to meet another guy there but my parents invited my ex along and he knew I was suppose to go with the other guy. I just can't lose weight

I am 17 f and am the fattest in my year, I know for most teenagers being thinner is just a part of anxiety and hormones however I have been told by doctors that if I don't start losing weight soon I am going to have to deal with several health problems when I am older like heart attacks and diabeties. I have been given diet plans by doctors but I just can't stick to them, it's starting to affect my confidence because people are so judgemental. I need a way to convince the rest if my body that it is a time for a change. I need diets that are easy and effective. Because it is not just my physical health that it will be affecting, please help. Thanks

Weird lump in my upper inner thigh. Idk what to do?

Im a 15 year old girl. I've noticed that I have this hard slightly darker than my skin lump under my skin in my inner upper thigh area. It doesn't really hurt unless I squeeze it. Whitish pus and fluid tend to come out when I do. I want to tell my parents but idk how to. It's embarrassing and I'm nervous about telling them I don't know how they'll react. I did my own research and yes I know the dangers of self diagnosis. Webmd says its a cysts. I know I should go to a doctor about this issue but I still haven't gotten around to telling my parents. How do I tell them? What do I do?
