A freaky weirdo who hangs around without an ID and tried to abduct two kids after school lives unpunished near my school, and I don't wanna go to school any more, what if he's stalking me, or tries to harm me? I'm only 10 and I don't wanna die or be tortured and raped! We have cops and all parents and teachers have been alerted of this, but I wanna hide and never go to my school again! What should I do?
Since Parents, teacher and the police all know about this man you are probably safer than you think as every adult in the area is watching him now. He would be foolish to try anything with all these people watching him.
I know you're scared and you have every right to be scared but not so scared as to not want to go to school. Being scared is a warning system we all have telling us, in this instance, to be aware of your surroundings.
!. Pay attention to where you are.
2. Don't be talking on a cell phone or listening to music as it doesn't allow you to be aware of what is going on around you.
3. Walk on the opposite side of the street from
his house.
4. Never walk alone walk in groups.
5. You and your friends could talk to your parents about forming a carpool. In this way you could be dropped off and picked up right in front of the school and not have to walk past this mans home.
As I said it is okay to be scared a little so that you are hyper aware to be on the look out for him. If you see him you and your friends should yell and scream as loud as you can. This will get the attention of other adults and Police in the area as well as hopefully scaring him away.

Never walk alone and always be with your buddies whenever you walk. If you sensed that he's stalking you, call the cops immediately and tell your parents and the teachers.
If you worry about it too much, your studies will be affected and it will turn up to the point that you are ruining it and end up failing. And you don't want this to happen so go to school and worry less about it.
Ask your dad to send you to school and pick you up after school so you will be more safe.

They could maybe drop you off at school and pick you up and that will help you feel more comfortable. Just remember to stay with a group of friends never walk alone. If you take the right precautions nothing will happen to you so dont worry :) [ Katlyn's advice column | Ask Katlyn A Question ]
