Worried About Depression

I'm Worried I might be depressed. I have numerous problems in my life and a few people suggested that the level to which I am depressed is not normal.
I have a genetic predisposition to be depressed as both of my parents suffered from it. I also have many symptoms such as difficulty concentrating and making decisions, fatigue and decreased energy, feelings of guilt, worthlessness, helplessness, and pessimism, excessive sleeping, irritability, loss of interest in hobbies, and sad, anxious, and empty feelings.
What really concerns me is how much I didn't know that Robin Williams and I have in common. Someone suggested that he used humor to mask his depression and I've felt many times that I do the same thing. I ...

Hi everyone I am a 22 year old female and live at home with my parents. I recently got engaged a few months back to a guy my family loves. I am an only child and have always been very close to my family, especially my mom. My fiancé lives 2 hours away and works offshore so we do not see each other often. After long thought and talking with my fiancé I have decided that I am ready to move in with him now. When I told my mom this she completely freaked out saying "you will not move". Every conversation we have had about it since then only leads to us fighting and her being totally against me moving. What do I do?! I love my mom but also want to be happy with my fiancé. What advice should I give my sister about getting a dog?

My sister got married recently and she and her husband have very different feelings about dogs. Our family has always had dogs. We love them and my sister can't imagine her children not having one. Her husband however doesn't like dogs. He had one when he was a kid, but has stated numerous times that he's not a dog person.
They've agreed to get a border collie, but her husband is insisting that the dog will stay at their ranch house and they will visit it only on occasion to make sure it has enough food and water. I was neglected at the hospital

I went to this the em room for pain in my stomach. The doctor is it was a appendicitis. I have it removed the next day. The night after the surgery my IV machine would not stop beeping and I needed to go to the bathroom. I press the button for someone to one to come. No one answered. I pressed it 6 more times and still no answer. I didn't want to pee on myself and the bed and I forced myself up. Holding on to my IV I pushed myself forward. I made it to the bathroom and suddenly vomited on the floor. I went to the bathroom and pee I pulled the string and still no answer. I sat on the toilet screaming for help. Why does everyone forget about me?

It's starting to hurt my feelings. My family always goes out to eat or to the mall and "forgets" about me. And at school all the teachers forget about me. And both years in high school (I graduated early) I paid for an activity card but didn't get one until I went to complain about not having one even though everyone else got one. And with my drivers license I've had four of the temporary ones now because the state keeps forgetting to make my permanent. And whenever I go to the dentist or doctor or anything I always check in so they know I'm there then after I wait for about an hour and a half I go ask why it's taking so long and they say they forgot about me. I Got a Bad Role; Should I Drop Out of The Show?

Recently, I've auditioned for a musical at a local theatre, and I got a very bad role. Judging by the age/skill of the other people there, I was one of the top three in voice skill, and the best at acting in general. When we got the parts, this camp (Read: CHILDREN'S CAMP. Nothing professional.) gave roles almost perfectly to those who looked the part. I really hate going there, and I feel like I should drop out, but I would also feel bad if I did that. What should I do?

Afraid of Flying

Hi there,I will be going on a trip to California next month and Im scared as I can be!!
Im terrified of planes and flying!!!
I have this fear,because I dream quite frequently that Im going to die,or have died on a plane because it crashed!!
I seriously dont want to get on a plane,but kts not avoidable.Just thinking about it gives me even more anxiety than I already have.
To make it worse,I have to change planes on the way!! I know Im being chicken,and I need to get over it.But Im so so scared!!
I have flown about 5 times actually,but its been 12 years since I have flown.

How do you revamp yourself? I feel like sometimes I don't know if I feel emotion to the heart. I want to so bad. Like when I say sorry and I want to mean it but I just can't feel it for some reason. When I say I love you I'm not sure if I'm just saying it as a automated response but I don't feel anything but I do love my family and mean it. When I feel sad or guilty I feel it in my stomach sometimes but I live on. How does it feel to be sorry? I keep a diary and I write things but I think I write how I want to feel. Bump on my Gums! I'm scared!

I've been really busy and I kept forgetting to brush my teeth (Which I am now) but a few days ago I noticed a bump on the bottom right back side of my mouth on my gums. Its tender and hurts sometimes because I accidentally bite on it (my teeth are crowded and I have an overbite) It's also covering a tiny tiny tooth over halfway (but I could never really feel the tooth so I assumed it was broken off) I'm really scared.
