my ex has been playing these games with me for a year and half now (ever since he broke up with me)
how do i get it so hes chasing me instead of me chasing him?
he dated another girl and came back to me and i had him chasing me for like a month this summer, but somehow im again in the vulnerable hurtful position
how do i get him to chase me again?
or how do i tell him without sounding childish that this isnt going to work
its obviously not going to workout because if it was, we had a year and a half to get back together. weve had this whole summer to get back together also when he dumped his new girlfriend who he dated for a month for me. but we never got back together.

Freedom of Speech

Freedom of speech is very important and should not be limited, assuming it doesn't offend or hurt others.
How is this relevant/acceptable to today? For example, people in countries without freedom of speech like America have to go through ridiculous things when they do try to speak up or change things. Any specific examples (American, preferably), or anything along those lines..?
I have to write an essay for a scholarship contest about that concept, but I can't think of anything especially moving/that will get me noticed..

so my parents are really strict. by my friend is having like 10 girls sleepovver her house the night of her birthday, but before that were just gunna walk around town and stuff until like late. And she told me like 2 weeks ago that her mom said curfew would be at 1230. and then today she asked me if 2 oclock was okay. to which my mom said no obviusly. but since her mom already said 1230 before what changed her mind? so heres what im thinking...
what a lot of my friends do is that since they know my mom will be the first to say no, then if their [parents wont let them do something, they will ask me, knowing my mom will say no, so they can tell everyone it is my mom that said no and not theirs. so i think she was hoping my mom wouldnt ...

I'm only 16 years old ,I as well have a 6 year old sister.
My mom is a drug attitic and was sober for 4 monthes after a 9 month relapse,which was the worst time of life for me.
Recently she began using again,she yells at me for NO reason,throws my stuff,tells me all this bad negative stuff and doesn't understand how much it hurts me .She usually goes in the middle of the night to get drugs and it wakes me up and I end up crying all night .She never cleans the house when shes on drugs and leaves it to me to do.She blames everything on me and just thinks everything is my fault and she promises all the time that shes done and she lies about it and covers it up with some story.I'm such a happy girl,I've never smoked and never done...

Recently, my friend has been talking about how "hot" he thinks his teacher his. He keeps saying he fantasizes about her and he worships her. He said he likes walking past her room having excuses just to walk by her, he said he wants to buy the yearbook and school newsaper just to oogle and "jerk off" at any pictures of her in them. Worst of all, he said he wishes she was a pedophile and if she wanted to molest him he'd be all for it. This sounds extremely creepy and unhealthy to me? I always thought a teacher is someone you respect, not look at in that way. Is this normal? Should I do something about it.

If I already had the swine H1N1 flu (verified) then do I need the vaccine?

So, apparently I caught the H1N1 swine flu last week (verified by my doctor; yes, he ran some tests for it). It was pretty awful but aren't all flus? Anyway, do I still need the H1N1 swine flu vaccine? I mean, if I already overcame it, it means I'm immune for this year, right? I'm still getting a seasonal flu shot, but do I actually need the specific H1N1 vaccination?

How early should I get a mammogram since my mother had breast cancer?

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was only 33 years old. I've heard such things as getting your first mammogram at 10 years younger than when your mother was diagnosed and then every few years. I also heard that I should start getting mammograms when I hit 21 since my mother had cancer. I am 22 now though and I haven't had a breast cancer screening yet. Should I get my first one at 22 or 23 or when?
Her cancer was so high up in her breast that it was not detected on a mammogram actually, and she found it herself during self-examination. She went through chemotherapy, radiation, and a partial mastectomy before the cancer was completely gone. It was REALLY hard on her!

I went to the doctor and apparently I have been diagnosed with a form of cancer. I haven't gone back in or anything yet since they called me but I have an appointment next week. What is cancer exactly? Can someone explain it to me before I go in to see the doctor? I think if I know about it more then I'll relax about this...

Should have I have the Gardasil cervical cancer HPV vaccine shot?

I'm 14, in 10th grade now, and I'm due to have my cervical cancer vaccination, Gardasil, next friday, but since a girl died from it recently I've been looking into it more. I'm now having second thoughts because of some of the facts. Turns out that the Gardasil vaccination only helps to prevent four of the HPV strains out of over a hundred. That doesn't sound like such great odds to me anyway. Out of 700,000 girls 1,300 have had adverse side effects which includes paralysis, sight problems seizures, and sudden death. They haven't researched what the vaccine may do to you in the long-term future either...like the morning sickness shot they gave pregnant women years ago, that left babies deformed in the end! My husband and I are FINALLY expecting our first baby and we are so excited! I'm about three and a half months pregnant now and we think it's time to tell our parents about the great news. We thought it might be super cute to take a home pregnancy test and then mail it to them! :D Do you think this is a good idea? If so, how exactly do I do that? Just shove it in an envelope and send it off to them? haha

How do I fix my washing machine?

Well, I decided to wash the bathroom rug last night. I put it in the washing machine because I figured that would get all that nasty grime out of there. Now the water in the washing machine won't come out because the bottom, rubbery part of the rug is stuck in the machine somewhere. I've looked in the machine everywhere but I can't find that rubbery white bottom from the rug! The water just sits in the tub though and I'm afraid I've broken this washing machine for good! My mom bought the washer back in 1996 and it's worked so well every since.
I've washed the bathroom rug in the washer many times now and have never had problems with it before. I just need to know how to get the rubber stuff out, I guess, or should I start saving up to buy a new washing machine?

I didn't make a garden at home this year but next year I plan to do that because I want some nice, tasty home-grown vegetables for salads and stuff. Anyway, what are easy vegetables to grow at home? I want to go on and make a list so I don't have to worry about it next year. I have enough space to plant whatever vegetables but I don't want to try anything that is complicated or needs a lot of maintenance since I'm just getting into this.
