So the other day i was having people over my house to chill and drink a little. It was my bestfriend,my boyfriend and his brothers and another friend of mine.I got really tired so i went up to my room and fell asleep and they all continued to chill downstairs. Well. right now its March 9th and ive liked this guy since October. My friend started liking him 2 months ago ALOT. even though she doesnt even talk to him. I NEVER told her that i like him becuase i kinda wanted her to be happy. But now i regret it.. and i like him ALOT.. but i talk to him alot and she doesnt. I'm 100% sure that he doesnt like her. need to help my roommate

i'm a sophomore in college and my roomie is extremely self-conscious about herself. She had an issue in 7th grade with bullying and she hasn't been able to let it escape her. She's afraid to do anything weird in public because she cares what people think of her a ton. She always feels people are talking about her if they're whispering by her or texting. She doesn't think boys will ever like her (she says she's giving up even though boys have liked her here, and she had a boyfriend in high school for almost 2 years). Anything I or our two other friends tell her don't help. She just doesn't believe us. She always says how she needs to step outside her box and stop caring so much, but she can't. I don't know how to help her because nothing I say is helping. HELP!

Stressed out, little hope

Hi,
Long story short.. my parents are divorced, I live with my mom whom I do not get along with. I would rather live by myself (not with my dad cuz that would create more conflict with my mom), but just in my own house with myself. I have had kidney failure my whole life so I have to visit the doctor a fair bit.
I've had my share of bad days. I only ever had one true friend.. that ended up using me for my brother. My mom likes this betrayer more than me and she treats my younger sister as the daughter she never had. (theres only two girls, my younger sister and I).
I am in grade 12 and I am trying so hard to make it through my classes and my life, but with all the stress of my mom, my older ass...

i am 16 and a soffomore girl. theres two guys i kind of like one is 15 the other is 18. are either of thoes like wrong? i want an older guy because im sick of immature ones. the older one is in the sport that is my passion with me but the younger one is in theater with me and goes to my school. which should i go for? and any pros and cons would be greatly appreciated :)

i just got out of a bad two year relationship a month ago. he cheated on me so i dumped him but i was going to wait to date again but i think im ready to start dating again but just dating not a serious relationship yet. iv turned down a few guys because i dont wana hurt my ex but how can i get him out of my head he hurt me i shouldnt wait if he never did, he even told me all about this new girl he went with so i got mad. now im not sure how to really flirt back to other guys just to see whos right. what are some sweet things to say or do to a guy friend youd like? and am i doing the right thing?

My best friend of 5 years, "A" has been dating this guy "B" they have had a lot of problems and have been on and off for almost 2 years. they finally broke up for good a month ago.

So I recently found out that my boyfriend smokes weed. We've been going out for nearly a year. I guess the reason he hasn't brought it up before is that he apparently only does it rarely, if someone else brings it.
Anyway, when I heard this, I was slightly taken aback. For some reason, it really BOTHERED me. It still kind of does. I don't smoke weed, see a need to, or even care that it exists (plus, it's illegal..). So I'm definitely not its biggest fan. However, it's something I'd say at least 50% of the teenagers in my city do (my sister included). And it didnt' really bother or worry me to know that some of my other friends smoke it. Just him. Which is what weirds me out about this situation.
So...thoughts? ...

Hi! I would really love to hear from everyone, ESPECIALLY those who have lost a lot of weight (like 60+) or are seeing results currently.
Well, I'm young, only 18... and I have a huge issue with my weight. Ever since elementary school, I can remember being one of the heavy girls in class. Now, I'm 5'4 and my weight usually ranges from 190 to 200. I've tried diets, I've tried working out, but I can never commit. Right now I live in a household where you will never find healthy choices like veggies, fruits, whole wheats, etc. And it's not my family, so I don't dare ask them to buy ME anything, I just take what I am given, you know?
I don't have a job right now, so I can't even buy my own food. I don't know, I jus...

Altering dress size.

Recently, I bought this dress:

It's for a semi-formal, however... I plan on using the dress again but at the same time I've been losing weight.
I was wondering if it would be possible to alter the dress one size down (from a 6 to a 4)? I can fit into a 4, but it's really tight, so I don't want to exchange it. The main area that would have to be tightened would be the bust/waist area. If it's possible, would it be costly?
