Losing 20 Pounds Posted Friday July 14 2006, 4:51 pm
Hello, I'm a girl and I'm 14. I have a lot of fat around my buttocks, thighs, and my stomach. I'm actually had a woman at an amusement park ask me if I was pregnant! (If I was she wasn't going to let me ride a certain thing.) I didn't think I looked that bad until that day so now I'm worried about losing weight. I'm 130 pounds so I figure my goal will be to lose 20 pounds, but more importantly lose the fat. Has anyone got any tips, rountines, and exercises I should try? I like in the country so I haven't got any good places to run and it's so hot here. I can't swim, btw. Anyway, please help me lose the extra pounds so I can feel confident again!

what kind of home excercise can i do to get stronger im kinda in shape but i need more results. i dont want a miracle just something i can handle and that is better than push ups (i have 25lbs dumbells and bicept curl is getting too easy) also what kind of stuff should i eat

I'm fourteen years old, and I weigh 220 pounds. I don't look like I weigh that much because I'm 5'6, but I still look big. I really want to lose like 80 pounds before October, but I have no clue where to start. I'd like to start as soon as possible. It's weird, because I think I have a really pretty face but I'm big. I was watching this video from a wedding I was in and I look really fat compared to all the other girls in my family. Plus diabetes is common in my family and I want to be healthy. Please help. =(

lately ive been really into excersizing. i want to tonemy body (preferably just my stomach, but i also NEED stronger arms & legs!!)
so anygood excersizes? (rite now i do lunges, lift wieghts, and crucnhes)

well since its summer, theres really no sports i can sign up for. i feel im gaining more pounds. i was just wondering if anyone knew any good work outs so i could stay in shape ? Also, what time its best to go running at and how i could work on my abs. Thanx to any1 who helps. sorry its more than one question

so.. i play sports etc..and i woudl say i am kinda in shape but i just wnat to lose my love hadnels and lose weight and gain msucle..does anyone know how to lose love handels..&& to get rid of fat in your thighs and tighten your butt??

i want to walk 6 miles everyday so what i need to no it how many steps equal a mile also if i drink water and eat heathy and do tiebo twice a day how long will it take to lose 25 pounds i more thing i wanna keep motavated and after i read websites like toneteen.com it helps so i would like other websites like that thanx

Okay I've been doing crunches a lot to work on my stomach area but I jsut noticed that like if i look down at my stomache the uppers sides(like under my chest) go in, and the middle sticks out more down below. Is that bad? or does it mean i'm working my upper abs more than my lower?
Helpp i'm kidna freaking out.

17/f I've been doing about 20 situps everyday and drinking plenty of warter for the past month to try to lose weight,but for some reason after I do the 20 situps my back hurts and I feel like throwing afterwards why is this?

i tore my groin and it's hurtin terrible well i was wondering how long do you think i'll be on crutches? and if it should be hurting in the back and front? and what are some things i need to avoid doing to help it heal faster?

I gained wait over the summer. But not a lot. Only maybe a pound or two. But I feel like my stomach is flabby and I can make it more fit. How do I get a six pack (or somewhat close to it) by september second- when school starts?

i'm trying to lose like 15-20 pounds over summer. everday, i'm trying to do 50 push-ups which makes the muscles in my arms grow which get rid of the fat and then for my stomach (which is what i want gone the most) i do 100 reg. sit-ups, and then i do 50 where i lay my legs straight so my legs arent bent and then i put my arms across my chest and do sit-ups like that for my lower abs, and then i do 50 sit-ups on each side for my hips and then i do 100 fast reg situps without going all the way down. yea its a lot but im trying to work it off. and then for my legs i do these lunges we work on in karate (i do that twice a week when im home for summer) and then for my calves i go up on my tip-toes and then back down 50 times trust me it hurts..a...
