itunes problem

i got a ipod nano 6th generation for christmas and when i plug it into my laptop via usb a box pops up in itunes saying '' ipod has been detected but it could not be identified properly''
ive tryed many ways to fix it such as different usb holes, reinstalling itunes etc..
any help please?

Cute Christmas hamster names and suggestions?

My mom got me a hamster for Christmas. He's really cute and I'm happy because I wanted a new pet for a long time. The hamster is kind of big and is black and white colored with a pink nose. I was wondering if anybody had some sort of cute Christmas names I could name him since I got him today (Christmas)? I'm not coming up with anything, and my mom is like, "Name him Santa!" so...any other ideas? Thanx

Things to do on the holidays for people who live alone?

I spent Thanksgiving alone, eating leftover spaghetti. I'm spending Christmas alone. I plan to spend New Year's alone. Both of my parents have passed away (car accident when I was 18) and I grew up as the only child. I don't have a lot of friends and I live by myself. I'm not really into big parties or clubs, but I feel bad when everybody talks about how great their Christmas (or whatever holiday) was and how they spent with with their family/friends and ate delicious foods.
What can I do on the holidays so that when somebody asks me at work about them it doesn't sound so dull and boring? All I ever say is, "Oh, it was fine. I spent the day alone and just relaxed," but everybody always makes a sad face and I know th...

There's this girl I hang out with a lot. We've known each other since we were little kids. We grew up together and we're both 15 now. For 4 years now I've fallen for her hard. I daydream of her all of the time. I dream of her at night. I can't get her out of my head. I love everything about her from the way she smiles to the smell of her hair when I'm close to her. I always seem to find myself making excuses to see her more often. My bf is really controlling. He always has to know where I am, what I'm doing, who I'm with, and everything. He controls like everything. If I end up being like 10 minutes late from when he told me to call him (like if I go out shopping and was suppose to call him at noon, but I call him at like 12:10) then he gets all angry and yells and screams and tells me I'm a really, really bad gf. I know this isn't healthy but I LOVE HIM. When he isn't mad at me then we have a really good time together. Is there something I can do to make him not controling and better understanding? Do I HAVE to dump him, because all my friends say he's just abusive and it'll get worse but he's everything to me. Help, please! What do I do?

I am a female graduate student, in a program where the vast majority of students are female. Last year, I met one of my classmates, who I thought was a nice person, only to find out she is mentally unstable and a total nightmare. Long story short, she is manipulative, controlling, obsessive, paranoid, insanely perfectionistic, a pathological liar, and highly insecure. She comes across as very sweet, but what people don't see, is that she is the total opposite in reality. I've been okay lately. I have been taking birth control for a while now and i do not think i'm pregnant.
my pee is clear, and once every two days it is yellow and only SLIGHTLY cloudy. (it is not near as cloudy as it was a year ago when i had my bladder infection)
whenever i laugh or sit a certain way. or scream or sneeze, (for the past week and a half) .. i have been feeling recurring pressure and slight pain (that feel a little like cramps) right where the two of my ovaries are and a little in the middle of them.
it only slightly burns when i pee like a bladder infection but not nearly as painful.
i dont even remember having the two ovaries hurt though whenever i used to have my blad...

new years eve party!

so i'm 18 and a girl. I'm not really a "party thrower".. i mean i have thrown parties before like birthday parties and such but none of them have been amazing or memorable. they've all been "blah" i guess you could say.
after my 16th birthday, i decided never to throw a party again because i tried to plan a great sweet 16 party but it turned out in a disaster, only 4 people showed up and my mom was chaperone and was very controlling about how loud the music was and what we were doing etc.
but my best friend convinced me to throw a new years eve party coming up soon. So my question is, how do i throw an unforgettable party? i already invited about 10-13 people and majority of people said yes...

When I was 9, I found out that my dad watches porn. And later on, I found out that he has an email in which he has added a couple of women. I even saw a huge number of files which had the 'weird' conversations he had with those women. And I have doubts that might have had a relationship with one (or two) of his collegues as Ive seen a couple of 'inappropriate' msgs in his mobile. Ive even come across voice recordings in his mobile in which he had a conversation with another married woman.
I have tried to be as brief as possible
I dont what to do. Its been more than 7 years since Ive known about this. Im lost and I cant take it any more!

dog gets sick when i leave?

Hello i have a 10 month old female toy fox terrier. I've had her since she was a month old. When i go to work we do "doggy daycare" with my mother-in-law and she goes there about 5 days a week for about 8 hours a day then comes home with me. It's always been like this. We recently started to notice that when i leave to go out of town for more than 3 days she gets sick like has diarrhea. But then i take her home and she's completely fine. I have taken her to the vet because i was concerned about her getting sick (this was before we thought its because i leave) and the vet said she was fine. Is it possible for a dog to get upset and sick when their owner is away? If so, would a separation anxiety medicine help at all? I've never hea...

iTunes only playing certain songs?

Well for some reason my iTunes is only playing certain songs. SInce limewire is no longer an option i have used this u-tube converter. it has worked great and all the songs play in my iTunes. But ever since lastnit my iTunes is only playing the songs that were done in limewire and are not playing the ones if used this utube converter site for. This has worked before for many months. so did i press a button on my laptop that for some reason enabled me to play the converted onesÉ My laptop is Vista if that helps. This is very fustrating because i dont know why all of a sudden they are not working and it is alot of songs. Please help if you have any idea why this is happening or if you have been in the same situation! thanks so much!
