Help!!!! I think i am gay.

Hi, i am 15 years old and a male. A year ago, i had gay sex with a friend of mine. We Kissed and i inserted my penis into his anus.It was somehow pleasant but i regretted it later when i realized what i had done. Now, I get an erection every time i think of having sex with that friend of mine and also when i see a naked man on the INTERNET.Right now i am able to resist the temptation having gay sex but i do not know how long i can resist it since being gay is both illegal in my country and i sin against God. I'm working on winning over a man. It's a chase for love. He loves me, and I love him. He lives far away and is bad with committment, and says one of the only reasons we can't be together is because I look up to him too much and he needs someone independent. How do I prove or become more independent? Don't give me the "don't change for a guy" speech, I'm willing to fight for what I want. He's close to me, we've already had sex twice, and said I love you. I have a crush on this guy.He's 19.He likes me but just as a friend , not even a close friend.i always have to knock him and he replies with short answers and sometimes he doesn't even reply.I told him that i like him and all he said was "aww".i also asked him "why don't you feel the way I feel about you?" and he told me that "You're a kid". Well, it's like this.
"Tommy" is one of my closest friends. At school, we always talk and hang out with the group. He's charming, funny and means the world to me. Now, I kinda developed feelings for him to the point that I want to hug him (and, surprisingly, kiss him), and be with him ALL the time, and it keeps distracting my thoughts. I just can't fall out of love in an instant or just suddenly minimize our ''talking time.'' It is now a nuisance to my thoughts, my actions, my time, my studies, and the list goes on. But the catch is that I neither want to replace nor remove him and my feelings from my thoughts, for it is almost impossible for me in the meantime (haha).

I'm having a hard time deciding what to do with my life from here on out. I don't know anyone else to ask and I used to come to this site for advice in middle school, so I thought I'd try again. Here is the situation.

I hooked up with this guy earlier ini the year and he was my first hookup. We didn't do everything but we did everything but sex (I'm in college and still a virgin btw). I'm a 16 year old girl who has been single for roughly 3 years and I don't know why. I've been told I'm really pretty, and generally a likable person, even if I don't think so. I'm a bit shy and kind of awkward, plus I have like 0 self confidence. I know that confidence is a good thing to have, but it can't be the only reason why I'm single right? I met him online and the first time he saw my picture he said I was pretty and afterwards, would call me pretty when necessary. So we started talking and asking each other sexual questions. Once, I asked him what he would choose and he said "of coursr you! I think you're beautiful!" That wad the only time he called me beautifull and afterwards, he started using the term sexy.
He usually initiates contact.
The question here is: does he mean what he says or is he just saying it for his own benefit?
