I like fairies (thus why I am wearing fairy wings in the picture). Good grammar rocks, too. It doesn't have to be perfect but I get frustrated when people completely disregard it. I like every color except pink. I hate the wind. Sometimes, I carry around a little teddy bear I found at an antique store. His name is Robert. I dress very eccentrically. It's not unusual for me to wear a prairie dress one day and a Mod dress (think Austin powers) the next. I don't dye my hair, or wear much make-up. I think it's sad that no one puts any emphasis on natural beauty anymore. I think it's a good thing to be open and educated about sex and other issues that are considered taboo. I have a hard time seeing where homophobics are coming from.

Basically, I'm just some weird teenager in Arizona. If I haven't scared you off already, feel free to drop me a line. -Danielle

If you have sex while on your period can you still get pregnant? and if so what is the likely hood? Or if you use a condom? (link)
Wow. I don't agree with the information below at all. During your period, you are the least likely to get pregnant out of any other time during your cycle. This isn't to say you can't get pregnant. There is still a chance- but you are most fertile when you are ovulating. You can't ovulate and be on your period at the same time. Typically ovulation occurs sometime during the week after your period, but it really depends on your cycle and how long you have in between periods. You can tell when you're ovulating if you get this really weird, incredibly sticky discharge. In other words, you can get pregnant at any time, but during ovulation is the highest risk.

Hi all I am 28 years old and I have a daughter who is going to be 9 this year and she has been asking me how babies get into the tummy and what pads are for and I am having truble getting the right way to say it...As I dont remember my mom talking to me about it...But I wont to be the one to tell her so she will be able to talk to me about anything....I was not comfertable talking to my mom and I wont my daughter to be able to talk to me.......if anyone could help me please do.thanks (link)
I think you should just tell her. 9 years old is old enough to start getting the basic facts, and quite frankly, I'm surprised some kid at school hasn't told her by now. Sorry if this doesn't quite mix with your values...but I think I found out around 6, which is a little too young, but still leads me to think 9 isn't a bad age to find out. The period stuff really shouldn't be an issue. She's about to start puberty in a year or two and she has a right to know what's going to happen to her! If it's still really awkward they make a ton of books that explain periods for girls her age in a very not scary, easy to understand way.

What do i tell a guy to do to get me to orgasim, i really want to, but i dont know how? (link)
Show him where your clit is, and tell him to not let his fingers leave it.

ok so here's the thing, I am not as comfortable with sex as I want to be. Like I get nervous like i'm going to do something wrong or not be able to keep him 'interested'. How can I get more comfortable with my sexuality? (link)
I overcame this issue pretty early on by just communicating. I always tried to be very open with sexual partners. I figure, hell, if I think I'm comfortable enough to sleep with this person, I sure as hell should be comfortable talking about it. Ask him what he likes. Ask him what he really is into, what turns him on, and what he likes that you're already doing. That way you know for sure that you're not doing anything "wrong" and have that worry eliminated. As long as you're confident with yourself and into what you're doing, he'll stay interested. Trust me, if a guy knows he's about to get laid, almost anything will keep him interested. Just put a little bit more faith into yourself and don't sell yourself short. The more you relax, the more he relaxes, and then things just get better from there. Just make sure to stay open with him so that it doesn't become a mind reading game. Sex is about communication on all levels, not just the body.

Why is sex a sin? I know that its not a sin if your jewish, so why is it when your cathlic? (link)
I'm pretty sure it's a sin if you're Jewish OR Catholic. Here's the thing. Catholicism is a very guilt based religion. Many organized religions are based off of depriving oneself of pleasure. The religions basically guilt trip people if they indulge in pleasure too much. I think it's BS.. sure, people cross the line with sex and then I suppose if you believe in all that sin stuff it would go into "sin" territory, but the act of sex itself with good intentions and the privilege not abused is not a sin at all. It brings enjoyment to our lives and helps us to express love, and most of all enables us to procreate! I think people who worship a God who would be stupid enough to create sex and then tell us that all of it is a sin are wasting their lives on something that's not worth it...because that would be one hypocritical god.

A friend of mine told me that she heard that if you have a light period, then you will have a harder time becoming pregnant when you are trying to conceive! So if your period lasts for 2 days while other girls have it for 7 days, you will have more trouble becoming pregnant! Does anyone know if this is true, or is it just some kind of a myth? Just wondering... I thought it was kind of interesting. (link)
I'm almost positive that's a myth. There are so many factors that contribute to fertility... like overall health and genetics. For instance, I'm sure a young girl with light periods is much more likely to become pregnant than a 40 year old chain smoking, coffee addicted woman. It really all just depends on the individual woman, but light/heavy periods probably have little to nothing to do with it.

Okay so this guy who lives next door to me asked me to give him head. Should he wear a condom idk, i'm really new at this (link)
I agree with Shery. I say just don't give him head. Giving head...well, to put it nicely, can be a very awkward experience, especially the first time. Wouldn't you like to do that with someone you're more comfortable with so it doesn't add to the awkwardness? I'd say wait until you're in a relationship, at least one a bit more serious than this one sounds.

If you DO decide to do this for God knows what reason, make him wear a condom, because if he feels like he has the audacity to ask you for head in the first place like that then he doesn't deserve head without one.:) (And if you want a more intelligent reason, to put it simply, you don't know where that thing has been..)

how old should i be to have sex in your opinion (f)? (link)
There's no set age. I've known 16 year olds who've treated it really responsibly, and 22 year olds who haven't at all. It obviously depends on a person's individual maturity level. Just wait until you're comfortable with it. If you're with a guy and you have to ask yourself if you should have sex with him, (assuming you're a girl??) then you probably aren't ready. Wait until you're really comfortable with your body and the person.

PS- It is not illegal to have sex in the US if you are under 18. It IS illegal for someone over 18 to have sex with you if you are under 18. Kind of a big difference.

whats the age that i should have sex (link)

15/f ok i just read someones questions that she thought she was les because she dont get horny when she thinks of guys having sex with a girl but she gets horny when she thinks of a girl with a girl she gets horny...well my problem is like that to ...kindof...ok i do get horny when i think of a guy with a girl...but i get even hornier when it think of a guy on a guy....i dont know why...is that weird?what can i do to stop? is this normal?am i a freak?!? (link)
No, you're not a freak. Logically, it could make sense. From what I've gathered, you're more attracted to guys than girls... so to imagine sexual situations with only the gender you prefer leads to more of a turn on.

is a pap smear painful? and what exactly does the doctor do?

thanks (link)
Actually, you are supposed to get see this type of doctor when you become sexually active, not a year later. But that's not what you were asking. No, it's not painful. It's slightly uncomfortable but it lasts for 2 seconds and isn't that big of a deal. He or she takes this little scraper and collects a sample from your vaginal walls to test to make sure everything is normal. It's not the horrible thing everyone makes it out to be.

ok, well im 14/f , im not sexually active at all, but i have a problem. i have loose, long, wrinkly skin on my vagina on one side. but the other side is still tight. ive had this for about a year maybe less, and i itch it alot on some days, and some days it just doesn't bother me. will this go away? alot of boys have wanted to date me but ive turned them down because ive been scared of them possibly seeing. please if u know what this is help! ill rate HIGH!! (link)
Go to a gynecologist. I've never heard of anything like that before but they've probably seen anything and everything and will be able to help you.

im pregnant what do i tell my parents? (link)
You just have to straight out tell them and hope for the best. But please DO tell them. I think it's really stupid when girls try to hide it all that time and then don't get the proper medical attention they need.

1.)heey. im 13, my name is aubrey. well i have horrible period cramps, is there any way to get rid of them?

2.)what are some tips to help me stop bitting my nails?

3.)does anal sex hert, my bf wants to have it with me (16) and idk if it herts or not...

13, not a virgen... please dont call me a slut or tell me anything about his k thx!

♥`AUbREY`* ViNtAGExBARbiE_ (link)
1) I just take midol and a nice, long hot bath. When available, I also use [protected] sex to relieve my cramps.

2) That one's hard because I'm trying to stop myself. If you get a manicure (some places only cost $10 for a manicure) once every two weeks or so...it can cause you to not want to bite them as much because they look nicer and you don't want to mess them up.

3) I've never had anal sex because I figure, I have a perfectly good vagina so it's not really necessary. I hear it hurts soo bad though, sometimes more than losing one's vaginal virginity. I hear people say "make sure to use lube!!" but I'd imagine it would hurt anyway. Do some more research on it and definitely don't let him pressure you into it.

i think i may be a lesbian or bi! i have a boy friend whom i love but when i read things about girls and boys having sex it just grosses me out. but when i read about two girls i get sooo horny! i love my boyfriend but i just am really sexually attracted to girls.... i can't be... can I? (link)
You don't have to have a clear black and white answer, just go with what you like. Labeling it is not really important; it's okay to be not sure.. but think of it this way. Imagine having sex with your boyfriend (whether you already have or not)...does the though of having sex with him, or any other guy gross you out? If it does, you just might like girls more sexually, even if you are attracted to guys every once in a while.

should you see a doctor if you have a tear in the lining of your vagina, but its beging to heal? should i be worried that it will re tear in the process of trying to have sex later on? (link)
I'd go to a gynecologist about it, just to be safe. Might as well kill two birds with one stone by getting a check up/pap AND getting your questions answered, right? :)

I'm 14 and I started my period like 3 years ago. I thought that when you started your boobs grew faster and stuff. But mine havn't grown that much. Like I still have cleavage with a push-up bra but I thought I'd be bigger by now. My moms' are really big so she told me, mine would be too. So is there a reason why this is happening? Is it normal? Thanks for your help in advance! (link)
You're only 14, so you still have some growing to do. Different people have growth spurts at different times. I know it sucks to hear, but just because your mom has big boobs doesn't always mean that you will, or vice versa. My mom had tiny boobs and yet mine are a relatively good size. Lots of complicated genetics come into play from both sides. Your body is just moving at its own rate. Your boobs might not get that much bigger, but they also have a good chance of doing so (I know a girl who jumped 2 cup sizes her junior or senior year), so don't lose hope yet!

okay, well my friend got fingered for the first time the other day and now she's been worrying about it. she think's that she is pregnant but i'm telling her that she can't be because it's totally impossible because she didn't have sex or anything. and she hasn't gotten her period and she's 2weeks late. i told her that i think it's because she doesn't have a regular period, because she hasn't had it for over 2years and normally that's when it starts getting regular. her boyfriend only fingered her, she didn't do anything to him so i'm really not sure what to tell her except that she isn't pregnant. what do you guys think?

PS. when she got fingered after she bled alittle, and i told her that maybe he scratched her or something because you never know. (link)
You should tell your friend not to be doing anything sexually if she can't be smart enough about it to know that you CANNOT get pregnant through simple fingering.

approximately a month ago my Boyfriend and I were foolin around and while we've never had sex we got a little carried away... to sum it all up he ended up cumming on my butt- we tried to clean it off as soon as possible but technically it is possible that some could have slid down to my vagina... does anyone think that I might get pregnant- I was off my birth control and havent had my period for two months (always been screwed up without my birth control) but he never penetrated me- what do you think? (link)
I don't think you are but if you could always try asking people at this community.
