Yes, you can still get pregnant. This isn't the best place to ask for advice such as this because there are 13 and 14 year old girls on here thinking they know everything when they don't. They will tell you all kinds of things like you can't get pregnant if you're on your period, or if you use protection. The plain and simple truth is you can and WILL get pregnant if you have sex. PERIOD.

The liklihood of getting pregnant while using a condom isn't high, but who knows if the condom was put on right or if it busted.. also the condom is porous (means it has holes) and sperm cna leak through.. therefore leading to pregnancy.

The only sure fire way to prevent pregnancy is to not have sex. If you're going to have sex, get on the pill/shot/whatever AND use condoms. Don't be stupid.. educate yourself.

Good luck, and I hope you're not pregnant if you're not ready to be.

It's pretty rare to get pregnant while you're ON your period, but think for a minute. When you're on your period, you're usually crampy and irritable, so why would you want to have sex? Also, there'll be blood everywhere. Gross. Even so, you should always use a condom whenever you have sex, because there is no such thing as a SAFE TIME.

Yes, you can get pregnant, you can get pregnant ANYTIME there is no SAFE time. Actually, when your on your period, you are at your most FERTILE. oh and i am just adding this is because people say the chances are low, but it varies, they can be high, low or normal like if you werent on you period so... i know this because i asked three different doctors, because i had that very same question.

Yes, you can get pregnant while you are on your period. The chances are very low, and even lower if you use a condom.

Wow. I don't agree with the information below at all. During your period, you are the least likely to get pregnant out of any other time during your cycle. This isn't to say you can't get pregnant. There is still a chance- but you are most fertile when you are ovulating. You can't ovulate and be on your period at the same time. Typically ovulation occurs sometime during the week after your period, but it really depends on your cycle and how long you have in between periods. You can tell when you're ovulating if you get this really weird, incredibly sticky discharge. In other words, you can get pregnant at any time, but during ovulation is the highest risk.

its mostly likely to become pregnant when you have sex on your period.. and even if you use a condom they can break and its always safe to take birth control pills if you are thinking about having sex.

And the likely hood is as it normally would be.
