ok...well,at my school(like mosts)people classify other people's style...i'm classified as punk...and my best friend is classified as prep...she wants to join the "punk scene"...and she wants me to explain it to her...like give her tips how to dress and stuff...the problem is...i don't know what to tell her...any advice or tips would be great!!!

no i didnt think it hurt.
my ear lobes actually hurt worse then my cartilage!
lol so dont worry about it.
but it might hurt a little cause its a needle going through your ear so you gotta expect somethin!
but yea dont worry about it.
and just keep it clean with the stuff they give you and you should be fine. :]

hey! okay, i'm 15/f and i'm allowed to get my belly button pierced after our last cheerleading competition, which is around march 13. but, we are going to mexico for spring break on march 24, and i don't know if i should get it done before spring break or not. i want it when i'm laying on the beach and stuff but will the water in mexico and all the chlorine be bad for it? i don't know if i should get it done before or after mexico. any ideas? any info on belly button piercing would be great too!

well dont worry there wont be any.
i got mine done.
but i deffinatly dont think you should get it before you go.
itll be sore and if your doing all that fun stuff itll just irritate it and itll take longer to heal and might even get infected.

Ok well I just gauged my ears, theyre 18s I guess? That is what the person said. So I was wondering what that meant? I don't understand the differnce. And also, why are they so small?! Normally they are huge and when I told the guy I wanted to gauge my ears he gave me these. Somebody help I am really confused.

well you/he shoulda asked questions!
lol he would have told you everything that i or someone else would tell you that knew about them.
18s are the smallest gauges you can get.
18 is the size of the gauge. as you get bigger the numbers get smaller.
like mine are 14s.
i had 18s but then skipped a size and put in 14s.
you cant just all at once have like..a size 6 gauge that would hurt like crap!
like for example..when i put in my 14s i skipped a size so it was kinda to big for my ear and the hole ripped a little when i put it in. it didnt hurt cause im good with pain but it might hurt you idk so just stick with doing the sizes. unless your good with pain.
also theyre all even numbers..
he/she basically gave you the 18s because your just starting out im assuming. so yea next time you go in ask for 16s and keep counting down untill you get them to the size you want!
and also next time if you have any questions ask them! 8]

Have you noticed that everything now is sparkly belts, big sunglasses, ripped jeans, granny sweaters, oh and sparkly purses? and those BOOTS? im so sick of it all that is ALL i see in stores oh and those short lil jackets!! yea i got mine done & it costed 40$s and of corse its gunna hurt..its a needle goin through your skin! well im kinda good with pain i guess. so since your not good with pain it might hurt really bad. it just felt really weird and like the pain rushs through your body. im not trying to scare you im just tellin you what i felt. yea it hurt but i mean its only gunna hurt really bad for a minute or so. also the needles are smaller then the barbell that gos through it so its like the same pain of getting it peirced twice cause the barbell gos in 2nd. anywho. i say go for it. dont be scared. i wasnt nurvous at all so i cant really relate to you being scared but seriously the person who did mine was soo nice he was awsome! so yea dont be scared! itll look good! and also member itll only hurt for about a minute or two and then itll just be sore. so yea. go for it! good luck hun. :]

okay i went to Goody's tonight and they are slipping up on their plus size clothes...I'm 15 years old and I am looking for some new clothes...sad thing is...i wear plus sizes and i am into fashion...like the ripped jeans and such...but lately no one is carrying anything that makes me happy...does anyone know of any stores besides Goody's that carry fashionable teen plus sized clothes that are also on the cheap side? tongue peircing is one of the most painfull peircings. also you have to be very carfull with waht you eat cause it could cause infections FAST. and its the one that is most prone to getting an infection because it is in the mouth and the mouth has the most bacterea. they wont numb it, by the way. i dont know why but they dont numb anything when you get it peirced. i dont understand why but thats how it works. anyways. if you really want one that bad and have enough time to take care of it and be very carfull with what you eat and stuff i think you should def. go for it..and the cost is differnt. it deppends on where you go. it could range from 30-50$, or more! just be carfull and make sure you have them explain everything to you.

my lips are always CHAPPED and DRY and PEELY! I use vaseline, and I try everything, but it doesn't seem to work. Any tips to make them nice and soft?

i say go with burts bees. its kinda pricy for a little tube of chapstick but it works SO good. trust me..you can get it in colors too if you want. i just go with the clear kind though..but anyways. yea, try that cause it works really good! :]

It's a fairly simple question (I think) but I need some help! You could say I'm a pretty preppy girl... not like (omg I'm really flippin annoying and too perky and I'm stuck-up!) not that kind of preppy. But, I wear polos, jeans, cute shirts from like... american eagle, aeropostale, abercrombie and fitch etc., sweatpants all that stuff that's so called, "preppy". I also like chucks... converse, whatever you would like to call them! But... some people say that converse don't really go with the whole preppy look.

What do you think? Would it be okay if I got them?

i think you should deffinatly go for it! my hair was like really blonde naturally and i dyed it brown and i love it...change is always good. and you can always go back to your brown if you dont like it!! and yea they can dye your eyebrows..but ive never heard the thing about your eyebrows being lighter then your hair color. but i think your should def. go for it! :]

no its not weird at all. i wear boy shirts like all my band shirts are boy shirts & i wear boy hoodies and my shoes are boys..oh yea and some of my shirts are like little boy shirts or little girl shirts so its not weird at all. really the only thing i have that are for girls are some of my shirts and all my pants and like..my tank tops i wear under my shirts..so its not weird at all dont worry! wear w/e you feel most comfurtable in!

I've just shaved my legs and no hair has come off. Do you have to apply quite a lot of pressure? I'm scared of cutting myself and those hair removal creams take aaages and don't work all that well on me...I only have til Friday so I can't go out and buy wax either. What can I do?

ok its either a dull razor. so get out and buy a new one and try it. or your not pushing hard enough..but i think it might just be a dull razor..so if you have unused ones try it. just change the razor. or go out and buy one so you can change it. if it still doesnt work try applying a little pressure..deffinatly not a lot but just a little. good luck with that.

Alright well I'm going to get my hair cut soon and i want an "emo" hair cut. I don't like calling it that but thats the only way I can figure out how to explain it! So if anyone knows how I can explain the "emo/scene" hair to my stylist that would be GREAT! And also if you have any pictures I can go by that would be awsome too.
