Have you noticed that everything now is sparkly belts, big sunglasses, ripped jeans, granny sweaters, oh and sparkly purses? and those BOOTS? im so sick of it all that is ALL i see in stores oh and those short lil jackets!! UGH!! Does anybody think they know what will be next, i started liking this stuff too late and im getting sick of it cuz i see it on everyone else!! I need some HOT new trends to be the FIRST with it out, i dont wanan follow i wanna LEAD!!

Try reading some magizenes, Mix and match diffrent styles to make them look good. Try to be creative. Yes everyone loves that style. But if your sick of it, Just make your own style. Maybe somone will copy and all of that will go out. ya know like so 10 minuetes ago!

"hot" new trends, are what EVERYONE is wearing. If you want to lead..start your own style, be an individual! I personally wouldnt worry about whats in..just wear what you like. You'll get alot more attention that way than if your just another face in the crowd.

Yea it's annoying that everyone dresses exactly the same and the girls that dress like that all act the same too. It's just a trend it will end by like May. Make your own clothes if you want to be the first with it on because as soon as someone sees something cute on someone, they go and try to buy it. There will always be trends, you can't do anything about it.

Well you shouldnt be asking us this if you want to be a leader. Because you need to figure it out on your own. See I love all that stuff, I have a gold sequin purse, a sparkly belt, the pink Ugg boots, ripped jeans from american eagel, big sunglasses from american eagel and the granny sweaters. But they are all things I like, you yourself cant really start a trend that takes over the nation like the sparkly purses did. So just buy things you like and if somone else likes it they will buy it and it will get peoples attention but good luck I think you will need it because its hard to make a trend.

think of something you think would be cute and dont be scared to wear it. dont think about what others will think!

Look at other cultures for inspiration! You may like Harajuku ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)) or Celtic clothing or a combination of both! Try looking at thrift stores, as well. You find the most random, pretty, so-out-of-fashion-it's-cool stuff at places like Goodwill. And maybe you should take up sewing.

Try wearing your hair curly. Like every girl now straightens their hair and I think it looks so horrible sometimes but they dont even realize it. They think curly hair is ugly but actually it gives your hair bounce and makes it not flat. I cant think of anything else that I think should be back in style. Just go with whatever is different. If you want to really be a trendsetter, ignore what other people are doing. This means simultaneously not doing what other people are doing because they're doing it, AND not being afraid to do what others are doing. Wear what YOU think looks good on you. Wear it with confidence, and others will admire your style.

Try reading fashion magazines if you want to get an idea of what trends are coming up.
Vogue or TeenVogue are good.
And if you can't get a hand on the magazines- then try their websites.

the best fashion trends are what ever you come up with. I go to an art school with a lot of fashion majors and the styles range from grungy to the annoying furry jeans and such. Believe it or not the fashion "experts" look at what they see teens wearing the most and thats how the lastest trends start.

Of course, if you *really* want to "lead" in this respect, I suppose you can get a bunch of friends together and have them wear what you WANT to be the "next best thing" in school. You can...oh...I don't know...start wearing ties. I have no idea.

uhm, try birckenstocks, idk if people already wear them wera you live, but they are ery cue. they're like sandals, only cnvered up in the front, and they're like sandish colored. really big chuncky necklaces too. ALSO, things like 80's shirts. the ones where its kind of baggy on the sleeves, and hangs of one shoulder. im not sure i helped?? but i hope i did!
