The Winter Ball is coming up on Friday and I have an idea for my hair. It's wavy and black, and I want to straighten it and make it curve inward at the end. I think it's called a "J-curl" but I'm not sure. It looks a little like this:

Once you get out of the shower and your hair is still damp. Get your blowdryer and blowdry pretty much all of your hair EXCEPT the bottoms. That should pretty much straighten it out. THEN use a round brush such as...

and brush the ends of your hair onto the brush so it curls in. Hold it there and blow dry it while your holding it. Keep doing this and it should turn out cute. For the back you should have someone help you.
I know this is kind of early to be asking, but for prom should you wear short dress or a long dress? I want to wear a short dress, but i dont know if that would be weird

i'm going to gr10 next year and we gotta pick subjects to take. which one should i take? french or spanish? i live in canada so i guess french would be useful.. but i SUCK at french and i've never taken spanish before so they're going to start from like.. the stuff they teach you on dora the explorer so i guess i'll be okay in spanish.. but i don't know which one i should pick.. people say french is more useful but i guess i should get more people's opinions before i make my final choice. please help =)
Well since you live in Canada it would probably be more useful as you said, but if you ever planned on moving to the US then spanish would be more useful because many people here speak spanish fluently. Personally I think french is a prettier language to learn so I choose french but its up to you.

This is what I think. I think it will probably work but it will take a long time. Sweating off POUNDS is what you are doing, and really think about how long that will take. Oh and you wear it without a shirt, probably with a sports bra or something. I do hope it works for you though!
Please don't delete this question, because I am actually very curious about this. Why do people join this website who aren't even serious about helping people or receiving help? People who need help come here and some ignorant people joke around and even insult these people in need. Don't you think it's time we suspend or expel these rude people? I'm sick of it myself.
I havnt been on this site very long but every once in a while I run across rude people who just say nasty things to people who really want help. I think its because they think its 'fun' jsut because they can. I agree, these people should be banned. This site is for people in need and not ignorant people making fun of others. If I were you I would email the person who runs this site and ask him to go through the columns and ban people who are not being resonable. Hope it works out!

You could but its not likely that it will break the hymen. A tampon is not strong enough to break it for most girls. Oh and if it does break, your still a virgin because you still havnt had sex.

What I do is I click send PIX then send it to my email then save it to my computer. Easy as that. Depending on your phone plan it will probably charge you though.

Use a curling iron and just wrap your hair around it loosely and keep it on there for about 15 seconds then gently let it go. I would suggest making only the bottom part of you hair wavy. Have fun!

We shouldnt care what other people think yet we all do so I know how you feel lol. I would just avoid preppy clothes such as pink mini skirts etc. Ive been to Battle of the Bands before and no one really notices what other people are wearing anyway mostly just the music so you should be fine =]

when you ask questions and you see 1 answer that is totally dif. from the others do you automatically think its wrong and rate it low without looking into it more?
ex: so person asked if fruit made you fat? and i said it did.. that is exactly what my doctor told me because it does contain alot of calories and really isnt good if you have weight problems.. yes its better than candy but there are still better things
but anyways. everyone else said no. and really they are wrong.. you gain weight from eating basically anything.. and not even investigating my answer i was rated a 1..

When I ask questions and see that an answer is different I dont rate it wrong. I rate it on what it deserves. If it deserves a 1 then it will get a 1, if it deserves a 5 then it gets 5 and so on. I think on the example you gave, the person rated you low because all the other answers said no then there was one answer that said yes, what is that person supposed to believe? Im sure your answer was right but you cant really get mad at the person on that one. Im not sure if I answered what you were asking but I did the best I could to help you =]

First of all your way to young to have sex. Im sorry but your in 8th grade? Maybe 9th? Sex is supposed to happen between two people who love eachother and to have children. For a lot of teenagers though its almost like a game. Most dont think of what could happen if the condom breaks or if the person they are having it with has Aids and lies and says they do then you have it for the rest of your life. These are things teenagers need to think about. I guess people think its such a big deal that your a virgin till your marreid because your 'supposed' to have sex now at like 15 and 16. I think that is stupid and I respect people who are saving for marriage. I dont know if I answered all your questions but I hope I helped.

Not ALL mormans go buy those rules. I know it seems strict but drinking, gambling, and partying is not what life is about and it is impure to them. But remember I know a ton of mormans that go to Vegas, and they drink occasionally and go to parties. As long as they dont get crazy and get drunk etc. then its okay.

Go to www.photobucket.com and make an account if you dont already have one. Then when its uploaded copy the "URL" and NOT the tag otherwise it messes it up. Then when your in the profile settings for advicenators, unstead of clicking browse and getting a picture just put the code into the box right above it where it says picture url. and your done.
P.S. Sometimes your picture turns out kind of big on your profile.
Okay, well I'm not that good of a singer, and I know that. But, I have a beauty pageant coming up, and you have to have a talent, and singing is all I can come up with. I can also tumble pretty well, so idk if I should do that or not. I have a round-off back-handspring, standing back-handspring, round-off back-handspring series, and standing back-handspring series.
So I have 3 questions:
-Should I sing, or should I tumble?
-If I choose to sing, what are some tips to help an amature?
and BTW, the talent has to be 2:30 seconds long.

Oh wow lol. I think you should definately tumble. My reason is because probably a lot of the girls are going to sing but I dont think a whole lot of people would tumble. Plus in my opinion its way more interesting to watch.

i lay on the deodorant twice a day: in the morning, and during pe (5th hour). but i still hyave b.o! its not awful, but its kinda gross. what should i do?

Dont worry all you need is a stronger deodorant. This happens to almost everyone, you just have to find the right one that works for you. So have you and your mom or someone go to the store and buy about 3 at a time and try them all out. If none of those work then try three more until you find one that makes you have no B.O. Good luck!

Yes you will keep aim. Because people without aol have aim. Aim is free and Aol is not so they are different.

I think you should get an ipod. They are probably going to make some new type of psp and not even sell psp games by next year. But with an ipod you can get music for as long as you want and also delete old songs and add the new ones.
