Well, I used to have a nice butt, but suddenly I'm losing it, and really fast. Ever sine I've been losing weight. hate it, it's going flat. So pretty much, my question is, How do I get my butt to get bigger?

Weight lifting. Not only will it tone you it makes your butt nice.

if you clench your muscles a lot will they get bigger and the fat around them start to disappear?

My dad says that works and he is pretty huge. But that could also be because he is a construction worker. If a parent says it works go with it usually.

my thighs are kinda fat. i dont like it. i play soccer and run but it dosnt seem to be helping. what can i do to make them skinnier?

Keep up with what your doing! Also try Dance Dance Revolution. Its expensive but fun, and some versions keep track of your weight and how much calories you have burnt. Even the easiest mode makes you sweat alot to loose those thighs. Thighs are the hardest thing to keep slim so just keep working!

i'm 14/f. i'm 5'3" and 115 pounds. i love to stay in shape and eat healthy, etc. i don't want to exercise too much and get sick or anything. i always make sure to drink enough water before, during, and after exercising. people. i have heard that 30 minutes of physical activity per day is healthy, but i don't know a specific answer for my body type. i normally spend 20-30 minutes every few days on this schwinn stationary bike thing. what is a normal and safe amount of exercise per day for me?

Well by the looks of things you are of normal weight and should keep doing what your doing.

ok, i want to get into really good shape for the upcoming school year because i plan on working out hard over the course of the year. im trying to get my stomach to get really flat and its not working. i do sit ups every single day and i do a total of at least 4500 in a week. i stretch everyday too and i go on walks as often as possible, probably a few times a week. i swim twice or three times a week too but nothing seems to have any affect on my body. any advice? plz help! i rate high for any reasonable answer

Seems like you are doing everything right. your either not sticking to it(body toning takes time),not eating right, or pusing yourself to hard. And i used to be overwight and did not notice i lost 20 pounds till people started saying how much weight i lost.

When I was younger I used to be really skinny because I stayed with my cousins a lot and we were always swimming, running around, or riding bikes. Since then I've gained a lot of weight cause I haven't exercised much. My stomach is flabby and my thighs are kind of big. I want to tone down before school starts up again in August.. so does anyone know any exercises I could do? I'm not saying I'm fat or anything but I've gained about 20 pounds in the past year and I just wanted to tone down some. Thanks. :)

I also have another question about this. I love to dance & I have about four movies that have dancing in them. Does dancing help tone you down any?

Dncing is Great!It is Very simmilar to aerobics. just use one of those dancing movies for about one hour a day.Also some situps and pushups woudn't help and do those things you used to do with your cousin and your weight should be gone but losing weight takes time.

im a 16 year old guy and anytime i do physical activities (i.e. gym class, basketball, baseball, running and other sports.)i end up soaked afterwards and some of my friends are somewhat sweaty. I would assume its because im out of shape but i beat most other atheletes. I think it might be because i am fat. Im 5'9 and weigh 197lbs. Some is muscle but some is fat so idk. Can anyone tell me why this is and what i can do to be less sweaty?

i calculated your body mass and you are overweight my advice would be to keep playing sports and sewating because sweat sheds those extra pounds and you can throw in some weights situps, pushups and diet pop, yogurt, popcorn(popcorn is a healthy snack in moderation),and to join a community sport club or group. also for when you are exercising at home you can listen to your favorite music or music that gets you moving. hope i helped rate me.

I weigh 110 pounds im 5'6'' i think around there i have a pretty slim body type and a B cup(if that helps). and i odnt think i look fat but idk if thats a good weight to be at with my height. any help would be apreciated. Alright I'm a 15 year old that wants to loose weight. i'm not excatly tiny but not excalty like obese(sp?) but want to be normal for my height. i have a problem with staying on task with the diet and would like some ideas on how i can stay with the diet. i will just end up eating a lot again...pleae help!

what i did was i substituted the food for stress with exercise or you can make a daily planner. i also exercise to my favorite song. hope i help rate me if i did.

i would do weights. the good thing about weights is you start off small and then you get bigger weights so you can see and feel yourself improving. rate me if this helps.

you should keep doing what your doing. losing weight takes time and if your in Manitoba, bikini season is not coming along for a long time.

I'm a bit overweight and so I've always been a little bit embarassed to exercise in front of people. It seems to just make things worse for me, because then I don't feel like I get enough exercise in the day, but I hate running because I'm slower and always afraid somebody will see me, and I don't even like doing stuff at home because my mom and dad might see me. Any good tips for conquering my fear or ways to exercise alone?

You can tell your parents to leave you alone and they will also give you tips when exercising. jump rope is a great cardio activity because it works all muscles and joints and its inexpensive. also sit ups and push ups work. i used to be overweight and embaressed to exercise but when my parents saw me exercising they were glad i was because of diabetes running in the family. also start of small and give your muscles a rest every 2 days and increase your workout intensity every two weeks. rate me please

you start off small like 20 and add 10 for 2 weeks at a time till you get to 50 and if your stomachs strong enough you can do 100. also take a break every two days. like on thursday and friday do exercising and take a break on saturday. also work some jump rope into that. and if you wnat to build muscle on your arms do small weights at first and then build up. also eat right and don't starve or binge and purge. salads good and diet pop works great.MOST IMPORTANTLY REMEBER TO START OFF SMALL AND GRADUALY BUILD UP AS YOU GO!

i decided i need to get into shape. so today i did 100 sit-ups (within 15 minutes.. i know, that's a LONG time =(..). is that too much to start with? does anyone have any other good exercising tips, for your stomach? (besides sit-ups and crunches).

also, can you do sit-ups by laying down and then going up, instead of bending your legs? Because i don't bend my legs.. so maybe it's not considered a sit-up.
