Words of advice on love:
- Don't ever let someone tell you that you are not in love.
- If you say that you THINK you're in love, then you aren't. If you really feel it, then you are.
- Never let someone judge your relationship unless they know FACTS.
- To me, age is not an issue. If you are 13 and dating a 30 year old, then it's a big deal. If it's 5 or 6 years, not a big deal.
- If you are being abused mentally/physically GET OUT OF THE RELATIONSHIP! Don't give the excuse that he apologized. If he loves you he wouldn't do that to you.

How long does a girl have her period? like how many days?

it depends.... the shortest i know of is 3 days and the longest is 10... mine lasts 6-7 days.

Today everybody forced me and my boyfriend to kiss and we did but I totally freaked out as soon as I felt his tongue and jumped back going: Ew! He got really pissed and ran off. I thought everything was over until I saw him and we hugged and he said it was OK. Now he's gone cold on me, hung up on me and switched his phone off. I think I've runined everything but I like him so much. I need help and fast.

well tomorrow in school i suggest you pull him aside and talk to him. you shouldn't be scared to kiss him either. it's just the fact that you were doing it in front of your friends that scared you. tell him that you're sorry for how you reacted and you were just really nervous. if everything works out for you... drop one in my box and i'll give you tips on kissing if you want... hope everything works out!

whos pierced there own cartilage? did it get badly infected? or worse? i read about this girl who got it done and something shattered in her ear and it got deformed. did anything serious happen to any of you?

i know plenty of people that have peirced many parts of their body on their own. i had friends pierce their belly button, nose, lip, ears and cartilage. you just have to make sure that if you do do it on your own that the needle is sterilized or else you will get an infection. i wouldn't suggest doing it yourself because yes something serious can happen. go to a professional. hope i helped.

Hey, I have a question about my hair. My hair is naturally wavy, but not curly. When I try to blow-dry it straight, it never comes out right, and one side of my head is wavy, and the other is straight. Sometimes I straighten my hair, but I don't really have a ton of time in the morning to do that. Do you have any suggestions of what I should do with it (Possibly even something I could do at night and sleep with it, or something I could do in the morning but it won't take too much time)

at night you should wash your hair, blow dry it as straight as you can get it and then straighten it. use a leave in conditioner and this product called "frizz ease" it helps with friz and it takes the wave out of it. also when you sleep it will let your hair settle more then in the morning the top part will be a LITTLE bit curly so straighten it a little bit more and it should hold up pretty well for the rest of the day. also don't wash your hair that often because it makes your scalp dry. hope i helped

I just asked about first time tampons. I saw these teen ones at Walgreens, they are like "teen satin" or something. Has anyone tried them? Should I use those, or would I be better with Tampax pearl? I always thought those were adult sized and a teen kind would be better.

Also, how old are you, and do you use pads or tampons? Sorry, but I really want to know before I try them.

with me i use both. in the day time i use tampons and at night i use pads... you should use pads at night because you're supposed to let it "flow" instead of keeping all that stuff in you all the time. my prefrance is tampax pearl. they are very easy to use and they are comfortable. i've never heard of those teen satin ones you're talking about but i really think you should use tampax pearl... they may be a little more expensive but the fact that they are comfortable and easier to use is worth the money. hope i helped good luck

I go out with this guy and I REALLy like him, I mean REALLY. I want to do things with him like kiss etc but all our friends follow us around and tease us and we never get to spend time alone. Like, someone will say: Izzi kiss Jon and I just can't do it with everyone there. It makes me really embarassed and I get scared that Jon will think that I don't want to when I DO. oh i had the same problem. it got so bad with me that our relation ship ended. but i hope it doesn't work out that way for you. my advice is to talk to them again and tell them that it really bugs you when they do it. tell them that they are being extreamly immature and they need to find a hobbie. as for the other people just tell them to leave you alone as well. you and your boyfriend should go out together. alone just the two of you. go on a picnic or something like that. have him over your house or go over to his house. and you need to tell your boyfriend that too. tell him that it's making you uncomfortable and you'd like it if he could tell them to leave you guys alone. hope i helped! good luck hun

when i'm going thru pms (the week before my period starts) i break out in pimples really bad. no matter how much i wash my face, they are still there for that one week. but after my pms is over, they go away on their own and i have PERFECTLY clear skin until my next cycle. but when i do break out its really bad, and my dad suggested taking me to the dermatologist, but i was wondering if it's worth going because no matter what medicine i'll use i still think i'll break out during that one week reguardless. what do you think?

no matter what you are still going to get pimples... i have perfectly clear skin and then when i start to PMS i get mad acne and i hate it. the best you can do is wash your face day and night and use oxy pads and then a mosturizer that has an anti acne ingredient in it. on the weekends when you aren't going anywhere don't wear make up or anything because it's just going to clog your pores. and if you do wear make up wear a little bit of it... enough to cover the flaws and make you beautiful... lol but no matter what you are still gonna break out. all girls do when they PMS no matter how perfect their skin is.

if anyone cuts and they want to stop i would be happy to help you if you want. i used to cut myself and i havent done it in a while. i can explain to you why you do it if you dont already know(like why it makes you feel better). but if you want you can im me at blinkbabe2469. or my advice column is xForeverxForgottenx if you want to do it that way. but if you want help or you're depressed then i'll listen if you need someone. i know what it feels like to be alone...or atleast feel alone.

wow, you are a great boyfriend to be going this far to be helping your girlfriend out. good for you. my advice is to tell her that it's hurting you when she does that to herself. tell her that you don't want to see her hurting herself anymore and that you love her (if you do) and cant stand to see her doing that. if all else fails talk to her parents... in return you'll gain her parents trust and get her help at the same time. she needs to go see a psycologist. i had the same problem... i was addicted to it and i couldn't stop. going to therapy was the best thing for me... if she's hurting so bad tell her to write her feelings down. whenever i see a question like this i always tell the person to write. just write everything you're feeling. also... let her know that you are always there for her. i always think you should follow your heart and not your head... and there really is nothing you can do to stop liking him... if you like someone you can't help it... just follow your heart.

well this is what you should do... i have the same annoying problem with my hair and yes... an hour maybe more of your hard work making your hair beautiful and then POOF! the humidity screws it up. okay you should do your hair at night instead of in the morning so that way your hair will have more time to settle. wash your hair and then blow dry it straight and then straighten it... yes it is alot of extra work but the result will be worth it... also, buy some of that frizz ease hair serum stuff and put some on your hair when it's wet and then when you're done blow drying it put a little on again and then when you straighten it put JUST a little bit more on. you're hair will be silky smooth and straight. hope i helped! good luck!
