ok well there is this boy that i really like hes 18 and im 14. I saw him on hi5 and i have talked to him through msn and he is really sweet the thing is i want to ask him to be my boyfriend i know he will say yes. But i dont want to go behind my parents back and im scared they may find out they are strict and i know my sister will be disappointed as we have a really close relationship. What shall i do??

Is this strictly an internet relationship? I will advise against this as much as possible.
Here are a FEW reasons why:
*People are different on the internet to what they are in real life. I'm not saying he's a 50 year old paedophile, but of course he would come across as "sweet" online - you can come across as anything and fool anyone.
*You are only 14 - quite an age difference.
*Long distance relationships are extremely tough and it makes it hard to trust the person - they will be going out without you and living their lives.

If it's not an internet/long distance relationship, then I apologize for the above.
but there are still alot of things to think about, considering you are 14. Yes, you might be mature for your age but it still doesn't change the fact if you do anything with him, he can be sent to prison.
Not to mention the fact you have still only talked to him through hi5 and MSN.

My advice to you would be to tell your sister. Talk things through with her and see what she has to say about the whole situation.
You really shouldn't go behind your parents back especially if they are strict. If you want this boy to be your boyfriend, you will need to tell them, because there are alot of things they will need to know and sort out. Although I'm not sure they would appreciate their daughter going out with an 18 year old...

If you can't have him as your boyfriend, it doesn't mean you still can't be great friends. It doesn't always have to be about relationships.

Really think about what you're doing for a minute. It's quite a serious situation and if you're getting your hopes up and becoming too involved, you will get hurt.

Your hymen doesn't always break through masturbation and sex etc. It can break through things such as playing sports.
It depends on the person whether you bleed during sex for the first time. If you have a still intact hymen and aren't used to things being inserted, then there's a strong chance you may bleed or at least experience pain.
If you're worried about bleeding when you have sex for the first time, just lay a towel down. It shouldn't be alot anyway.

Well my parents hate my style(it's just jeans or gray trousers with band shirts and so on(very dark colours)
They want me to change my style of clothes..and I am almost ok with that...

I like the way you want to try new things!
I think you should be more creative and colourful. Don't just stick to the same dark, boring, predictable colours you normally wear. There are tonnes of shirts, tank tops, vests, tees that are feminine - just look for more fitted ones than loose/baggy band tshirts.
Jazz up your outfits with belts, badges, wear cool scarves, necklaces etc.
The shoes you wear now will go with jeans, skirts etc, but if you want different ones, I suggest flats - you can wear them with anything.
If you aren't comfortable with wearing just skirts, team them up with leggings, tights or footless tights - they come in so many styles (different colours/prints)
You can also customize your things to add to the rock/metal style you want to keep.

okay, so i have this really confusing problem.
now theres this guy i was really starting to like,
and he told me he liked me to.
but the other day at school, when i was talking to him, he completely ignored me, or atleast i thought he did. he wasnt like a complete jerk, but i dont know it was just like akward, like he wasnt paying enough attention to me. and then the other weekend we went to the movies with my friends, and apparently when i left, he told his friend he didnt like me anymore. and yesterday, i left early from school, so i told my friend to ask him if he liked me, and she said he said "i dont know." and she said, "its yes or not" and he said "ugh? why? i guess no" but then again, my friend who asked him kinda likes him too, so she could be making this all up. but i wanna ask today on the bus if he likes me, and if he said that he didnt to my friend.

Only he knows his true feelings, so noone can tell you why he may stop liking you all of a sudden. Frustrating, I can imagine, but you have the right idea - be brave and ask him yourself. Perhaps word it in a more friendly way, "I heard you don't like me anymore? Is it true?" and let him explain.
You never know, he could be going through a few problems at the moment, so don't lose hope until he tells you directly he has lost feelings for you etc. Good luck.

Umm, I bite my nails all the time. I want to stop but I can't. I've tried using nail polish, and band-aids won't work, they fall off. So is there anything else I can do that won't harm my nails in the process?

If you're willing to spend a bit of money, there are products you can buy which you put onto your nails and when you get the urge to bite them, it leaves a horrible bitter taste in your mouth which makes you stop. Look around for them.
Other tips I have heard which work:
*keep your hands busy.
*Keep your mouth busy (chew gum, suck sweets)
*Squeeze a stress ball if you get the urge
*Bite a jelly bracelet
*Get a manicure - you won't want to bite and ruin your pretty nails!
*Wear lipstick/gloss etc - it makes you more aware of doing it and helps you stop.
Apparently if you stick to it, it doesn't take long to kick the habit.

I've never felt like this, although I understand where you are coming from and I bet many others have the same thoughts as you.
The way I see it is, you can never have too many friends. It's nice to introduce them all to one another. It doesn't necessarily mean they're all going to become best friends and leave you out, because real friends don't do that, especially since YOU were the one who introduced them.
Don't worry about it. Just be yourself and have great times together. Don't get jealous and upset. You should feel happy people can get to know each other because of you. :)

They don't pose a big health risk. Just obvious things like gaining weight depending on how many you eat and being bad for your teeth :P

**It's not so much your first boyfriend, but first love. You never forget them because it's your first experience - especially if you share alot of history with them. Of course your first boyfriend should still be special though. and I'm sure your mum would want him to be good enough for you if she takes a big interest in your relationships.
**It depends on the girl. Some people want to get it over with (but may regret it later on) and others want to have their first kiss with someone they really like and have alot of feelings for. You don't really tend to forget your first kiss either - if it was with someone special.

hi!! most of my best friends have boyfriends. Some of them even have 8 -yes, 8- other guys vying for them as well. Like if they broke up with their boyfriend, they would be asked out by 8 guys at once in a heart beat.

You are 15 years old. Although it's natural to be jealous your friends have boyfriends, it's nothing to stress over. You have plenty of time for boyfriends and I promise you, your time will come.
See a boy you like? Smile at him. Say hi when you see him. It's not difficult. Once you've said hi a few times, the conversation will build up to "how are you/what are you up to" etc etc.

okay well there is this guy named joe, and he is one of my friends. hes having a party over the weekend (for his b-day) but i wasnt invited :(

Were the invites proper invitations? On paper? If they weren't, he may have genuinely forgot to tell you. Don't jump to any conclusions just yet - try and find out if he's realized he hasn't invited you.
It's a bit odd he would invite everyone but you.
You won't know if it's a pity invite until you find the reason why he didn't include you.
but as I've said, don't worry about it, because he may have just forgot. There will be reasons and you will get to know about them soon. :)

Mutilating your body does not help at all. You may think taking things out on yourself is the way forward, but honestly, it is not. Also, would you really want the scars as a constant reminder of what pushed you to do it? Absolutely not.

Don't worry about it. There could be a number of reasons for it - most common being an upset stomach, ranging from too much iron in your diet. Have you been ill lately? That can affect the colour. and do you eat alot of green foods? Give it a couple of days to see if it returns back to its normal colour. If not, tell a doctor and he/she will give you a proper diagnosis. In the mean time though, it's nothing to really worry about.

I am female and 13 and i have been friends with this girl for about 3 years. She copies everything I do, like fashion etc. This is surprising cause she is really outgoing, and everybody thinks she is coming up wiht all of this stuff! I don't know what to do!

This happens alot with friends around your age. I know, it's highly annoying, but you should take it as a sign of flattery. It shows she admires your style - but still, you don't exactly want a clone of you walking around, so if it gets to the point where you're pretty annoyed about it, offer to go shopping with her and pick her out some things which would suit her. and have a few quiet words with her if she doesn't get the hint. Nothing too harsh. Say "hey, stop copying me!" in a jokey way. and see what she says. :)
