I am confused about CA's drinking laws. If you are under 18, you can drink alcohol with parental supervision but only at your home. But what are the laws once you are 18? Can you drink alcoholic beverages whenever just as long as you don't buy them? I don't really drink but I am just curious. Oh and yes I have googled it but everything I found was vague.

ive recently picked up an acoustic guitar and started writing songs.
i dont have a manager or an agent or anything, but i was wondering if there was any software that i could buy to record music in my home on my own computer.
also, ways to put myself out there.
you know, how to find a manager or an agent, record a CD, how to find places to play at, etc.

There could be software online to download that would help you record.

You can also check music stores like Guitar Center or even Best Buy in their Computer Software section.

In order to promote yourself and get your name out, you can use MySpace, Facebook & Youtube. I've seen a ton of teenagers on YouTube promoting their singing through videos.

So I'm writing a paper on suicide and depression and I just am curious and want opinions to this question: "Would you kill a loved one if they asked you to?" Put yourself in a situation where someone you really love like your boyfriend/girlfriend, mom/dad, brother/sister etc. was so depressed and they werent getting better and they wanted to die and they came to you and asked you to pull the trigger or kill them. think of it as there is no way they will get better because nothing has helped and if you say no they will still go through with the suicide. if they seriously ask you to pull the trigger for them would you do it for your loved one because they are in more pain now then they would be after?

Absolutely not.

To be honest, killing them would hurt a lot worse than if they did it themselves. I know that by killing them, I'd sort of be helping their cause, but I would never be able to live with myself knowing that I am what killed them (even if I didn't contribute to their depression). I could never do something like that, and would never.

So no, if a loved one asked me to kill them, I would never do it.

My dog is 10 years old. he is half yorkie and half bichon frise. Lately he just shivers and sometimes when you pick him up to comfort him he yelps as if he is in pain. What is wrong with him. What could be wrong with my dog. Is he in pain. Whats wrong???

It is possible that he could be in pain, but I'm not exactly sure since I'm not a veterinarian. Take him to the vet & see what they say.

You should not be having sex at 13. You're a baby still, and sex is for adults. There is no need to be in a hurry to grow up. You will eventually experience the things other people do if you're patient & can let yourself learn first.

Sex brings on emotions that are not for anyone your age simply because you cannot handle them. Sex can be regretted if done when not ready, or too young. Sex also can bring STD's and pregnancy along & there are no taking those mistakes back. Honestly, keep masturbating. It's a whole lot safer, and you don't need anyone's help. Having sex with a random person will make you look like a slut & you will highly regret it. Sex should be with someone you love & should be meaningful.

You're 13. Educate yourself first and become an adult before you do anything stupid that you might regret.

This is a long story but I'll try to keep it breif. my friend was being harassed by these two girls that hate her for reasons beyond me. they keyed her car, threw dog sh*t on her house, car and, drive way, sent her threatening messages, and almost drove her off the road, put a pink flamingo on her lawn they stole from her neighbor's that said "f*cking b*tch" on it's back. the flamingo was the ultimatum for her, and she called the police. they said she needed to go to her recource officer, so she decided to go today and brought the flamingo in for evidence. but this past weekend, she asked us for her help: she wanted to get back to the girl that helped her do all of that stuff. she got an idea, we went to her house at night when no one was home, and she placed pads on the girls lawn. it was on the side of her house on a couple bushes, there was one placed on a tree, and a couple on the basketball hoop in front of her house. it was a really terrible job since we were all afraid of being caught. we stayed for about five minutes (tops) then left. it was me and another girl, and we stayed on the driveway looking out and handed her the pads from a bag we had. after we left we just went home, but she went to the resource office today, and told the officer at our school about what the girls had done. they're getting arrested, but out of retaliation (i'm assuming since she waited until SHE got busted to bring it up) the girl that did the stuff to my friend mentioned how there were pads on her yard. my friend was immediately interrogated and denied anyone was with her until she cracked under the pressure 10 minutes in. my friend (the other one, not the one thats involved with the girl) and I are supposedly getting called down tommorow in school to be asked about it. I was wondering if we can get in a lot of trouble for being there? I'm not exactly sure what's going to happen... does anyone know what the punishment may be under these circumstances? p.s. I think it's not that bad because the officer found out two hours before school got out and he didn't call my friend or me down today- if it was really severe we would have been called down immediately. thanks guys.

Yes, you most definitely can get into a lot of trouble for being there. You helped vandalize someone's property. Whether you put the pads on the lawn or whatever or not, you're still just as guilty as your friend.

You'll probably get community service or something of the like. If the authorities see that you need a different consequence, then they'll give you that but I'm pretty sure you might just get community service.

ok, so people get STD's when they have sex with someone who is STD positive. But, like, where does thaat person get the STD? You can say that if they were sexually active with someone in the past, that they could have contracted the disease from them. But what I'm saying is, everyone who has an STD couldn't have gotten it from having sex; there has to be a beginning to this. I was thinking that possibly a person can be a carrier of an STD, and not be affected by it. Hence my question, can one get an STD from having sex with a virgin?

Some guy clicked on me on the 'Are You Interested' app on FB and added me. nbd, its happened before. I'm not really into that type of stuff but I really didn't think much of it. But we started talking and we have a bunch of mutual friends (he lives a town or two over). We've only been talking for a few days but he keeps calling me "beautiful," saying "we're perfect for each other," etc etc. I think he wants to start a relationship & start seeing each other in 'real life' (for lack of a better term) but online dating just seems really weird to me. Like I never use that application and when guys talk to me, I reply but only as a friend, not really flirtatiously. idk I just really don't feel comfortable dating someone I met online, even if I do know that he's a normal kid and not some psychopath. Plus I barely know him - I take relationships really seriously and I'm not going to start dating someone I've had a few conversations with. i might be willing to date him if i got to know him more, but that would probably mean meeting in person, so i'm pretty much contradicting myself, haha.

Should I tell him im not interested in him in that way, or give it a chance?

If you're not interested, then yes, you should tell him. Not telling him would lead him on and would only make you look bad and hurt him.

I don't think that hanging out means having sex with a guy. I also don't think that's what he expects from you.

He probably just wants to hang out and maybe see a movie or go to the mall or something. Making out doesn't make you easy.

However, if you're quick to jump into bed with him and have sex, then you would be considered easy. But for liking him & wanting to make out, no.

I have a number obsessively texting me. I never reply but they text me 30 times a day.. at least! is there a way to block a number from reaching you? my phone is a sprint palm centro. I wouldn't ask if this was tolerable but it has been for the past 3 weeks nonstop.

You need to get into contact with Sprint. Either call their customer service line, or you can go into a Sprint store. They can do it for you. However, there is a possibility they might charge you for it. I honestly don't know though because I'm with AT&T.

I think he's mostly just messing with you. Boys can sometimes be mean to girls when they like them. Either that, or he sees you in a sisterly way & is treating you how he treats his own sister.

Ask your friend about it. She knows him better than you & can possibly give you some insight to it. Maybe she can even talk to him for you.

If she doesn't want to get involved (which is understandable, friends sometimes don't like to do so), then talk to him yourself. He should be able to tell you. To be honest though, he might just like you. Guys mature slower than girls do & this could just be his way of showing you how he feels. I know it's weird, but guys are weird. I think you should go to prom with your friend.

I know you think your ex made a mistake of ending the relationship, but he did what he thought was right. It's good he still wants to be friends, but going to prom together could be awkward because one of you will still have feelings for the other. If your ex doesn't have feelings for you romantically anymore, you should accept it. I'm not saying he doesn't, but it could be that way.

Go with your friend. It could help take your mind off of things. Besides, you need a little space & time to clear your head. Break ups are hard, I know, but you need to get away from the other person sometimes so you can fully recover and not continue hoping for something that could not happen.
