A few thoughts I've gathered from my teenage years (and being on this site for most of them!):
1. If you Google song lyrics, the song will come up 99% of the time.
2. Dress to fit your body type, and buy the size that fits. If you're a size 6, squeezing into a 4 won't make you look skinnier. It makes you look fat when you aren't.
3. You will never regret waiting to lose your virginity.
4. There is such a thing as a stupid question, but we're all allowed to ask them.

I'm going to assume this is the girl that still isn't sure if she should go out with the guy that likes her.

Set boundaries. Say "I'll do ____, but not ___". This is good in other areas of your relationship, too. Kissing someone's neck isn't a big deal- you may find that you rather enjoy it.

Let him do it once- and if you don't like it, tell him so. A good guy should probably understand and will respect your wishes :)

Today I wore a shirt that always falls down without me noticing. I was telling a story to one of my friends about when my shirt fell without me noticing for a while. The guy I like was also standing with me and my friend. Then after I said "So basically my boobs were just out there.." Then I turned to him and said "You would like to see that, wouldn't you?". He sort of smiled and blushed then said "no". He's really shy so I was wondering if that would be a common response for a guy.

Yeah, even if they dont like you personally, guys like boobs. So it's a totally normal reaction. Espeically if the guy is on the shy side AND knows you like him.

Yes, and people have died from it. It's called hyper-hydration, or something ot that effect.

It does something to the balance of sodium in your body, and eventually your kidneys shut down. But it only happens if you drink literally GALLONS of water at a time. So you're most likely fine. You'll get a stomachache before you could do any serious damamge from drinking water.

Okay, so there is this boy, and i am positive he likes me. He always smiles and stares at me, talks soo loud when he's near me, sits next to me randomly, switches seats to see me, and when i sit next to his friends, he always comes up to the friend. And also, he tries to talk to me. I reallllly like him a lot, but the only problem is that in school i am sooo shy, and he never talks to me, because [ i think ] he might look stupid talking to me, since i am shy. Just don't worry so much. Don't think "AH crud. If I don't talk to him he'll hate me and I'll look like an idiot if I say two words!"

Talk to him like he's one of your friends- since you're in the same classes, ask about homework, partner up for group work and projects, etc. Just get to know him better, start crazy conversations (If you were stuck on a desert island with one person, who would you choose and why?)

If you like him (and he likes you) do something about it! Wait until after school if you're nervous. You may be pleasantly surprised by the results when you tell him how you feel.

hi guys
i've really started to give up on everything. i went out with this guy for almost a year(last year) i hoesntly think i was in love and i still am . i was forced to break up with him because he lied to me and went behind my back and i couldnt just let him get away with that thinking its okay. a little after that (beginning of this year)we were hooking up but we stopped because it wasnt a good time for us to get back. we were on and off i stil love him and i go to school with him have so mnay classes with him and see him every single day. i cant get over him and no matter what i do i want him. please try to help. i just dont know what to do anymore even if i'm better than him or if i deserve better it doesnt matter to me i miss him and our realtionship.

What did he do when he went behind you back, and what did he lie about? Was it something big, like cheating on you, or something like "oh I forgot to tell you that I had a detention and not extra help last Tuesday"

Did he apologize for what he did? If you think it was genuine, you could try to forgive him. Almost everyone deserves a second chance. I think there's a major lack of communication here- he could be missing you just as much, and feel the same way about you. Even if you can't forgive him, you should still talk. By resolving whatever happened last year, you'll be more at ease. And if you DO decide to break it off completely, you'll feel less guilty.

ok im 13/ f and i have to write an essay about if i think bigfoot is real or not. this is what my essay says:

Many people say that bigfoot is just a myth; that people just dress up in gorilla suits and walk around in the woods. i personally think that bigfoot is real

for over 100 years, people have reported sightings of bigfoot some people have even found hair and footprints of the creature. people have taken many pictures and filmed videos of bigfoot. one of the most famous videos of bigfoot is called " The Patterson Footage".

The patterson footage is a very clear image of a female bigfoot walking in the woods. the footage was taken by roger patterson and bob gimlin in 1967.

The patterson footge has never been debunked as a hoax. no one has ever demonstrated how it was done. neither the original " costume" nor a matching costume has ever been presented by honest skeptics nor by various impostures who have claimed to have worn the costume.

Large amounts of money have been spent trying to make a matching costume. the best hollywood costume design talents have been brought to the task but none have ever succeesed. the british broadcasting corporation has spent the most money so far and they have failed miserabily.

Every attempt and failire to make a similar costume strenghthens the case for the authenticity of the patterson footage. comparing a man in a costume side-by-side with the patterson creature in motion help highlight the anatomical differences.

Many scientist have looked at the patterson footage over and over again. they have finally discovered that if you look closely at the footage,you can see breast on the bigfoot. many of the sigting that you hear of say that the bigfoot is male, so who would make this one female?

Even tough you may or may not think bigfoot is a real creature, i think that bigfoot is real.

im 14/f 9th grade never had a boyfriend.

there's this guy that really likes me. he's always asking how i feel if i seem sad he asks me if im okay and whats on my mind. i'm friends with him but i never really thought of us as anything other than friends. i really want a boyfriend because i want to know how it feels, but then again i don't want to just date someone then break up with them in like a month because i feel no chemistry between us. but on the other hand i'm afraid of not having my first boyfriend until im like 20. i know it doesnt matter what age but i just want to experience it young so i know what its like...so with you knowing all this do you think i should go out with him or no? thanks soo much for answering.

That's really the only issue here. You don't just want a boyfriend for the sake of having one- and that's good. It means you have standards. Don't date a guy just to have a boyfriend, because, like you said, you'll break up with him after a month. And guys actually DO have feelings ;)

It all comes down to if you want to date this guy or not. He seems nice enough. So if you like him, go for it!

Well, you could try asking her what she does. That could very well be her natural texture, and all she did was brush it.

If your hair has a wave to it (or is curly) you could probably get a similar style by blowdrying your hair when it's damp. Use a styling creme or serum or something, especially with this weather. It'll last longer that way.

Everyone's hair is different, so achieving a certain style will take a lot of experimentation. You could try curlers, braiding your hair overnight, and different brushes.

Who cares what everyone else thinks? That shouldn't matter to you.

I'm assuming you mean tobacco? Depends on if you care or not. How much that affects you will ultimately decide if you want to date him. It's up to you.

Again, lists help. Really. Good things about him on one side, bad things on the other.

But really, go with your gut instinct. Are you looking past a bad habit or two and seeing the person he is, or is the little voice in your head telling you to avoid him at all costs?

Sorry for asking this question, we get a lot of these and they are annoying. However, I have tried everything.

There is this song that I heard in like October on the radio. It is an older song, from the 90's. It is a female singer, and I believe (not positive) it was featured on one of those 90's drama shows (Like Felicity or Dawson's Creek). I have no idea what the words are, but the singer sings "na na na na na na na" in a melody quite frequently. The song is slower, and its the same type of song as Breathe by Anna Nalick or Built This Way by Samantha Ronson.

Advicenators is my last resort. I have searched google, lyric sites, asked everyone I know, searched for old tv shows' soundtracks, and even tried that song tapper on bored.com. If you have any idea what the song is, please let me know. Even what show it came off of, or any of the lyrics. This has been driving me crazy for months! Thanks!

Many (if not all) radio stations have playlists of recently played songs. Google if you don't know their website already. For example, search "95.5 WBRU" or as much as you know. You can then look up by time of day, artist, etc.

Don't worry about his ex. Unless he still likes her (which I doubt because of how you're describing how much he likes YOU) he's available.

How much do you like him? Make a list, either in your head or on paper, why you should and shouldn't go out with him. You may realize that you like him a lot, and the only thing holding you back was your constant worrying about his ex.

So basically, if you like this guy, say yes when he asks you out (he seems to try this a lot, si give him the chance) or make a move yourself. He may be losing his nerve because of repeated attempts that failed. He likes you, and he'd be overjoyed if YOU asked him instead.

Well I was just making a graphic on my photoshop and when I exited everything to shut odwn my computer, I saw that all my icons on my desk top got rearranged!

I tried to remember where they all go and moved them but it didn't look good and looked so bad because I can't remember all 24 icons go.

Is there a way I can restore the icon's original position? And how did it got rearranged form nothing in the first place?

Right-click the desktop and go to Arrange Icons By. Then click the different options until it looks right.

As for how it happened, who knows for sure. You may have accidentally done what I just told you, a new program could have been installed (new icon to mess everything up) et cetera.

Well, yesterday I got sunburnt SOO bad. My arms are completely red, my legs, my face... Everything. And it hurts so bad. It burns and people have been calling me tomato all day.

I have been frequently applying aloe vera, but it hasn't been working, and it makes me feel gross and slimy... I just want to know, is there anything other than aloe vera that will make the burning and the redness go away fast?

Take a cold bath (or a shower if the water pressure isn't too harsh for you). That'll make the burning go away. Use a calming lotion, or jsut an unscented one, like Aveeno.

Also, what kind of aloe vera are you using? If you use the "cool blue" kind, it'll actually make the pain go away and does more than plain aloe. Since you don't like the feel of it, try applying it like, a half hour before taking a shower so that it gets washed off.

No, as long as the guy isn't using her for sex or anything like that. I'll admit, it IS a bit young. But I've met plenty of mature 13-year-olds and immature 17-year-olds. This could really go either way, and to provide my full opinion I'd have to personally know both of the people involved :)

Regardless, use your judgement. If the girl feels pressured, she shouldn't be forced to do anything. Likewise, the guy shouldn't force her to do anything either.

i can't wear sandals or flip flops to school because my feet start to sweat really bad, is there something i can do to fix this?

Wash your feet everyday in the shower so they don't start to smell. baby/foot powder helps a lot, but it won't be inconspicuous with black flipflops. When you're sitting down, take off your flip flops and wave your feet around a little, spread your toes apart, etc. You could also twy getting sandals with terry-cloth bottoms, so if your feet DO sweat you won't be sliding everywhere.

One of my friend's computers crashed the other day and she took it took it to a computer shop and they said it crashed from Myspace viruses (from certain profiles that were implanted) So my mom told me i couldn't go on nymore because she doesn't want that to happen to ours. But i REALLY love Myspace and i want to go on it really bad. Is there any way to avoid these viruses? I know most of them are coming from fake profiles, and i only go on the profiles of my friends that i know, so i wouldn't just browse thorugh random profiles. Can i still go on Myspace without that risk if i just go on the people that i know?

Myspace, Yahoo, Hotmail, Google, etc. You're gonna get viruses just from going to those sites, and you don't have to click anything either.

Why? Computer hackers/virus creaters go after the sites that get LOTS of hits. They're not gonna go infect like, my blog. That's five hits a month, and four are me. A site like MySpace is gonna get what, five hits a tenth of a third of a nanosecond?

Running a computer with interent is eventually gonna give you a virus or two. Get a good firewall, do virus/spyware scans, and you're as protected as you can be. Without like, not actually going to sites and not getting any use out of the computer.
