I'd recommend drinking no more than 8 glasses a day unless if you exercise a lot.
Yes it is possible you can drink too much water. I think it thrashes your liver and you end up dying. Some woman ended up dying recently because she drank too much water. ]
Hey. Yes it is but it is very hard and very unlikely that this would happen. Too much water washes out your electolytes but I have only heard of this when someone drank tons of gallons of water. You have nothing to worry about ♥ fabulous ]
yes, it's possible, but incredibly unlikely unless you like go to the public pool and drink all the water in it. basically what happens is that the water overloads your body, and your cells begin to lyse- they explode. but you would seriously have to drink a whole lot of water. water is great for you, and 8 cups a day is great for you, but 5 gallons a day is definitely not great for you. ]
It's rare to die from too much water. It takes a little less than a gallon of water to put you at risk, if you're just sitting not doing anything. If you're exercising, it'll be much more. NEVER limit your water intake to prevent excess water, you are much, much more likely to die of dehydration than water intoxication. If you are thirsty, drink. If you are not thirsty, don't drink. It's as easy as that.
The first respondent is correct about it unbalancing your salt and electrolyte levels. ]
Yes, it's very much possible. If you drink too much all at once without using the bathroom, you can die from it.

I'm not exactly sure why, but I know you can die from it. But anyways, if you plan on drinking water, don't drink too much. ]
Yes. Basically your body cant handle it all, and you can die. But thats rare unless your gulping gallon after gallon down. ]
Yes it is. And you can die from drinking too much water at once--but we're talking about a WHOLE LOT.
It's because your body needs time to break up the water molecules and process it through the body. But when your body intakes too much at once, your body can work only so fast. Too much will overwhelm your body and it will eventually shut down and you can die as a result. ]
Yes, and people have died from it. It's called hyper-hydration, or something ot that effect.
It does something to the balance of sodium in your body, and eventually your kidneys shut down. But it only happens if you drink literally GALLONS of water at a time. So you're most likely fine. You'll get a stomachache before you could do any serious damamge from drinking water. ]
