A father finds his son praying at night. 'God bless Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma. Ta ta Grandpa.' The father finds this odd, but doesn't think too much of it. The next morning the grandfather dies. The father remembers the night before, but doesn't say anything. That night, the son prays, 'God bless Mommy and Daddy. Ta ta, Grandma.' The father hopes that nothing happens to the grandmother. Sure enough, the next morning the grandmother dies. At this point the father gets really scared. That night, the son prays "God bless Mommy. Ta ta, Daddy". okay well i have this problem..there is this guy and i have been going out with him for about 2 months..and i went to a party with him last weekend..and for some really weird reason..it was really weird to be around him..like i didnt want to go out with him ne more..and hes really nice and all..but i keep comparin him to my ex bf..who is going out with my friend..and he was like my very first love..and i just cant get over him! and its irritating..well anyways back to the current boyfriend situation..he hasnt talked to me whatsoever this week..so im thinkin that i should breakup with him cuz i dont think he likes me ne more..and i dont think i like him ne more..
so here are my questions..should i break up with him? and if so how should i do it (like what should i say) and HOW CAN I GET OVER MY EX! lol cuz i really want to..but its just always coming back to haunt me (link)

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I really apologize. It seems to me that you still have feelings for your ex, but that was obvious, huh? I think you should find the time to talk to your current boyfriend if you feel you want to keep the relationship alive. Sometimes, you may like a person, or think you really like a person, but later on find that it was just puppy love. To answer your question, talk with your boyfriend and see if the feelings are mutual. If not, tell him that you don't feel as attracted to him. Tell him, " Look, Bob ( thats just what we'll call him), I feel that we're growing apart, and I want to know if you still have feelings for me, if not, lets not cause each other anymore pain and go our seperate ways." Also, you said you keep comparing your current boyfriend to your last one. Did your last one give you more attention? Was he better looking, was it something materialistic abou your ex that you still can't get over? Don't go for anyone basedon looks or money, do what your heart feels is right. I can only give you advice, but when it comes to what your heart wants, you make the final decision.

im moving from fresno texas to birmingham MI, its a wealthy suburb of detroit. im losing my mind because im so scared. i HATE the cold and i won't know anyone. does anyone live there or close to it? can u tell me how it is in the winter and stuff like that? thanks. (link)

I live in Detroit. Yeah, I'll be the first to admit the winters are cold, but the scenery is beautiful, and if it snows too much, we get school off, sometimes. Birmingham is kinda cool though. But the main places to hang out are downtown Royal Oak and Ferndale, and of course, Detroit. I understand that you're scared, I can't say for sure that you'll like Michagan's unpredicatble weather, like for example, its been 50 degrees and a bit higher all week around, so... The summers here are awesome, though, there are a bunch of free concerts and and activities, you just have to look for them. If you ever want to look for places to hang out at, I can help, and help you as you get used to Michagan weather. Good Luck.

hey i just got fake nails and they are starting to eat my fingers, i ripped them off but i woke uo the next morning to see those nasty buggars still on my hands!! what do i do? just rip them off cut um up and burn them or leave them on and lose my fiiijersnnerrssffdssss....oh no...my figners! Soak your nails in nail polish remover, never rip the fake nails off. The nail polish remover makes it easier to come off. Be careful about this type of thing, you don't want to get an infection or ruin your nails.

i dont know what to put this under but oh well, i like reading alot... and i have 8 or so new books upstairs in my bedroom i havent read. To you that might sound like a lot of books but beleive me they go by fast... and so recently my family has been broke... i mean like dead broke $5.00 broke! and when i finish all those books i think instead of buying books im just gonna go to the library... but i want to know some names of REALLY good books!!

I enjoy reading as well, Shakespeare is pretty good stuff. Anne Mccaffery, if you like dragons and science fiction. George Orwell is good if you like books that have political messages in them.I recommend the book Animal Farm, its really good. Edgar Allen Poe, if you have a dark side. Chaucer is pretty good, a little dry to me, but classic. Thats all I can think of right now, but I hope you enjoy some the selctions I've Listed.
By the way, one of the best books, in my opinion by Shakespeare, is Julius Caesar, either that or As you like it.

I just recently moved out of my house and into my uncles house and he is a hardcore Christian man and believes that anything not christian is "of the devil", I myself am a follower of the old pagan type religions and he kind of found out and alwayz makes little jabs at me for not believing in god and tells me im going to hell and i dont know how to deal with it..if i tell him that i dont believe in god, he might kick me out of his house....what should i do...pretend not to believe what i do or tell him to stop? Us pagans ahve the hardest times, don't we? In Victoria speak, he's an "uber-christian" in other words super christian. You, yourself, being a pagan, should know that many of the elements of the Christian religion are based upon pagan rituals. Maybe you should give him some history on his religion, instead of him trying to label yours. And if that doesn't work, and things get worse, you may have to live with someone else. Or instead of teaching him about his own religion, try talking to him, but it seems like hes a butt-hole so that may not work. Tell him that you do believe in a higher power, but you worship in a different way. Most pagans don't even belive in Satan, but you should leave that fact out. And if he kicks you out of the house, you can come live with me.

Well, since you're still growing, I'm gonna be honest with you, you may gain weight even if you don't want to. Not in a bad way, mind you, but your chest will get bigger, you'll have hips, and maybe a butt. Nothing bad, you can still stay skinny. Sit-ups is a good start, but you can do more. Try push-ups, bellydancing ( I swear it worked for me.), leg lifts. Be more active, and watch what you eat. Drink lots of water, to keep your system clean. And don't eat when you're bored, I know its hard, thats a battle I'm still trying to overcome, but I'm almost there. MAke sure you stretch before you exercise, so you don't pull anything. If you need anymore advice, or if I left something out, be sure to let me know.

Wow! You're tall. I'm only 5'3. so anyone taller than me, I consider tall, not to make you feel bad or anything. Personally, I like a tall guy *growl!* Try blantantly asking a girl on a date, don't beat around the bush. Most guys do that and end up in the predicament that you're in, regardless of height. And to be honest, 7ft tall and 450lbs, isn't something you see everyday, and most people are afraid to break away from the norm. You seem nice, so show people how special you are, and let all your other qualities shine through like the sun breaking through storm clouds.;)Sorry, I'm kinda into poetry. Everyone has something different about them, whether it be their personality or something physical, in your case, height, and somebody is gonna like that you're different. Don't worry. Sorry this is so long, I had to get my point across.

Call the cops. What else can you really do? Do it before it escaltes. Tell the cops that hes sending you threats, save the messages he's sent you, don't delete them. Make sure your parents know whats goin on, too. I know it sounds like too much, but if hes making you feel unsafe, better saafe than sorry.

I don't think you're responsible over what you dream over, unless maybe you have a lucid dream, but in general, no. To me, dreams are your subconcious speaking to you. Dreams let you know when you're stressed and don't realize it, or they can give you the solution to a problem, or even let you know when you have to pee in the middle of the night.

i have these kids i babysit for, and i mean theyre okay and everything, but they dont listen!! i dont know what to do, i even take out my cell phone and pretend to call their moms! theres a 8 year old A.D.H.D. boy, a 4 year old girl, and an infant. i get paid 4$ an hour...does that seem like enough for what i have to deal with? There are many factors involved, but in your situation, yes, I think you need a raise. Boost up to $4.50 or a $5, but talk it out with the parents because you don't want them to get the wrong imppression, and don't say anything along the lines of " Your kids are brats, I need a raise" try something like " The kids are a handful, and I don't mind babysitting, but there is a problem with the fact that they won't listen. This puts extra strain on me as a sitter. In other words, I would like a raise to cover the marginal costs of babysitting your children." See, doesn't that sound nice?

I was born studdering. I didn't say my first sentance until I was 3. I still have it but its not as bad. I usually do it when I get nervous or I don't talk for a while. What are some things I can do it get rid of it?? I've had speech therapists but that didn't help. (link)

Hvae you tried tongue twisters? I'm not sure if that would work, because I'm assuming your speech therapist would have made you do them. when you don't speak for a long time you start studdring? Try reading poetry aloud in your spare time, or tongue twisters and see how that works out. The issue on you being nervous may be harder. Try calming yourself, breath in and breath out normally, and see how that works out. Good Luck.

I remember when i was little, I tried to paint a corner of my wall with red nail polish. I was about 5, and my mom beat me black and blue.....*sigh!* Anyhoo, I remember her getting some type of liquid paint thinner, it migh cost you a little, but ist should come off. Try going to an art store or a hardware store. Your best bet might be an art store.

hey i'm the girl whose walkman was broken because the sound was only coming out of the 1 ear. well it wasnt the headphones because i put other headphones in and it still didnt work, so i want to know if there is a place where i can get my walkman looked at/repaired. i have a Sony Psyche and i HEARD that they don't make them anymore, so where could bring it to get it fixed? my mom doesnt remember where she bought it. and would it be cheaper to get it repaired or should i just buy a new one? i have no idea. and i feel bad because we dont really have alot of money right now. I'm actually amzed the headphones didn't work. You should probably buy another one, because to me, it seems like that one is going to give you persistant problems, so you might come out better getting a new one. Try getting a cheap one, 'cause in all actuality, they seem to work better, for me at least, but make sure it doesn't skip, thats the darndest thing to find, a cheap walkmen that doesn't skip, but its not immpossible.

OK.. I shave "downstairs" (if u know what i mean) I only do it cause most guys HATE pubic hair.. I use a schic (sp?) intuition razor.. and then i still use moisturizing shaving cream too..(sometimes) and either way.. it hurts to shave.
Is it supposed to hurt when u shave down there.. or what can i do to make it hurt less.. preferably not at all .. I've tried using a brand new blade.. an older duller blade.. and even a brand new razor..

You could try "clipping the hedges" if it hurts too much. Who cares what guys like? Not every guys is the same ( you'd be suprised ). Some guys don't care if you have pubic hair, so long as you don't have 70's bush you're fine. ( 70's bush is when your pubic hairs are totally out of control). But the problem may be, that you have extremely sensitive skin, so I don't think shaving is a good idea...I don't think waxing would work either is shaving pains you. Try clipping the hedges.

They help make sure that there aren't any cysts or infections in your vagina. They make sure that everything is working right. Mkaing sure you don't have any cancers or anything harmful. Be thankful for them.

Your best bet is to go to an optometrist, just to play it safe. What good are contacts when your blind?
