In our dreams Do you all think that you are responsible for what you dream about? Like, lets say for example, you don't cuss or something...Well, are you responsible for that kind of stuff?

When you dream, you basically compire your recent thoughts into a fantasy world where it becomes either good or bad. Sometimes things occur in your dreams that you normally would or wouldnt do in real life. Its the wonders of dreaming. If youre truly interesting in this subject, like i am, you can do a google search for "lucid dreaming". its about dreaming and how things happening in your dreams can effect your real life. Its amazing. Hope I helped. Good luck!

Yes, in some part you are responsible for your dreams...for you dream about what you are thinking about in that present time. I dont know if we ourselves twist the dream into confusion...but for the baisic 'plot' of your dream, you are responsible for that.
hope i helped =D feel free to ask me anything
dont let the LIGHTS FADE OUT ]
I dont think so I mean your brain is just making stuff up ]
dream are often somthing you want or disire or have some meaning to them usually you aren't in control of dreams just pay attention to them here are som things to remeber: bad dreams usually equal good luck coming or a problem being solved and good dreams are usually for entertainment or symbolizing somthing ]
i definitly think ur responsible...for wat u dream..of like...say...u were thinkin...of goin to da mall and u dream it i positively think u r responsible

Of course not..like fanticies or whatever? no, your not, you can't really controll them....well you can, but that's not the point :P It's probably somewhere in the back of your head or somthing, but I really don't think you're RESPONSIBLE for them... ]
I don't think you're responsible over what you dream over, unless maybe you have a lucid dream, but in general, no. To me, dreams are your subconcious speaking to you. Dreams let you know when you're stressed and don't realize it, or they can give you the solution to a problem, or even let you know when you have to pee in the middle of the night.

Dreams are a result of your brain filing away the current days events. Say you did math homework all day, chances are you'll have some sort of math dream or a dream involving numbers. Sleep is part of the learning process, and it process information while your body rests. Lack of deep sleep will lead to memory loss, due to the fact that there is not time to store and sort information input.

Dreams are like the sewers of your mind. Life puts a lot of stress on the brain, and when you sleep, your brain starts randomly putting together thoughts and memories, creating dreams. About the only way you actually 'control' a dream is if you've been thinking about something frequently or concentrated intensely on something, it's more likely to show up or be involved in a dream. ]
OKAY, NO YOU ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT YOU DREAM ABOUT. YOU KNOW THAT THE OTHER NIGHT I DREAMED THAT I WAS PREGNANT WITH A PUPPY. IT WAS WEIRD AND I GOT FREAKED OUT BUT IT DOESN'T EVEN MEAN ANYTHING. IT WAS JUST SOMETHING THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO KEEP YOU COMPANY WHILE YOU SLEEP!!!!LOL! HAVE FUN!!! ]
I think you usually dream about stuff that you're thinking about. Like the other day my friend was wearing two different socks, and I was there when she put them on, and then when she changed shoes and we were talking about socks. So that night I had a dream i was sitting on a stool in the middle of my kitchen and socks were floating like eye-level with me. If you go to myjellybean.com they have a dream dictionary that you look up what you dreamed about and it tells you why you dreamed it. I don't know how accurate it is (*Like I dreamed about socks because I was thinking about them not because it "indicates your warmth and your flexibility of understanding")but once me and my friend were looking @ it and it said "You are controlled by your circumstances" and thats like sooo true for me so yah...it might be true and its a ton of fun to look @. But i don't think you're responsible for what you dream...your mind kinda goes crazy
=) HoPe I HeLpEd! ]
We aRe in no way "Responsible" foR ouR dReams -- they soRt of.. just.. happen. We can't contRol what we dReam, and I believe they aRe without Real meaning. ]
man i dont think ur responsible...u dont kno what u doing in a freakin dream...ur asleep...but dreams come from you thinking bout something 2 much...most of the time...xoxo effy ]
knoW .... like my moms had dreams shes cheated on my dad but she would never... she's perfectly happy in her relationship...... it rele freaked her out too. what you dream is where your mind wanders in the unawake state... not what you want or will do in life.
gl xoxo ]
no. you cant control it. ive had dreams before that haunt me to this day, if anyone ever found out... well no one ever will :| ]
You can't help what you dream about, i read this little fact that you dream about what ever you think, see, imagine or do in the last 30 hours that you have been awake, so if you saw some cut guy, 2 nights from now, you may dream about being with him, or if you fight with your friends, you may dream about some similar argument, a few nights later. What ever goes through your head, will appear in your dream, like a secret crush on someone. i know i am in love with my Ryan, but i do dream about being with one of his friends when we either talk about him or i see him, and that is the only time i dream about him, is when his name comes up, or we see each other. ]
Dreams have no real meaning, if that's what you're looking for. They are our brain's way of burning off excess energy, and it does so by nearly randomly processing thoughts derived from our memories and experiences. Some people are able to control their dreams to some extent, but not all people can do this. Most people do not remember most of their dreams, either. ]
