i need help, there's this guy i met online and he keeps stalking me and im getting scared. it all started out when he asked me to invite him to my webcam and im like sorry no bye, then hes like im gonna hack into ur computer, and hes sending me messages saying i know where u live, ill send ppl to ur house and thell rape u, well get it on tape and im starting to get scared. is that possible? could he have hacked into my computer from yahoo messenger? can someone help please
Dozzer answered Sunday October 24 2004, 1:41 am: haha, chances are that this guy is not a hacker. Hackers in my opinion have other things better to do than bother girls. They have corporations to fry, and viruses to make. Just because he says he knows it doesnt mean he does. Just block the loser. If he "hacked" you, ud know about it. nething else happens past that ... let me know =D.
SouthernBarbieGirl answered Friday October 22 2004, 5:53 pm: I've been in a similar situation except the guy knew me and he really could have acted on it. The best thing you can do is get a new screen name and e-mail and BLOCK him. I doubt he knows where you live but it's best to be safe! Good Luck sweetie! =) [ SouthernBarbieGirl's advice column | Ask SouthernBarbieGirl A Question ]
jokerzgrl answered Monday October 18 2004, 11:27 am: Call the cops. What else can you really do? Do it before it escaltes. Tell the cops that hes sending you threats, save the messages he's sent you, don't delete them. Make sure your parents know whats goin on, too. I know it sounds like too much, but if hes making you feel unsafe, better saafe than sorry.

advice_now_2334 answered Sunday October 17 2004, 10:38 pm: this is somthing serious. mayeb you should block him or change your screen name thing. however he can hack into your computer but the only way is if you make connections with hgim like on aim you can connect with people to send them pictures and stuff. i dont know how it is on yahoo tho. it is possible for him to find you if u have personal information on your computer about where you live and stuff. if changing your screen name doesnt work then you should definalty go to an adult immediatly. your not doing anything wrong by going to them, you are protecting yourslef. after all this could be just some sick child tryind to sscare you but i wouldnt take any chances !! block him or change your user name before it gets more serious!!!! MoonFisher answered Sunday October 17 2004, 7:45 pm: There are several programs that can allow someone to hack into your computer. There are viruses that allow back door entry to your system, especially if you're on a continuous broadband connection, like DSL or Cable. You need to tell your parents, save everything he sends to you, and maybe talk to your IP. They will be able to determine whether or not he's genuine. Just saying he knows where you live sounds like crap to me, though. If he really knows, why not just say the address to you? That would scare you good, right? Because he's full of shit, that's why not. Tell someone, maybe get a firewall, and make sure you don't ever give out personal info. [ MoonFisher's advice column | Ask MoonFisher A Question ]
PinkPrincess42 answered Sunday October 17 2004, 7:38 pm: Woah! Omg! Im sure its not anything to worry about because some people are dumb and just talk a lot of stuff, but then again there are a lot of sexual predators out there on the net. My advice to you is to tell your parents about it. Tell them everything he has said to you and make sure they check it out. Also, you need to be more careful and watch who you talk to~ there are some wierdos out there! ~*emily*~ [ PinkPrincess42's advice column | Ask PinkPrincess42 A Question ]
