jokerzgrl answered Saturday November 20 2004, 10:43 am: I enjoy reading as well, Shakespeare is pretty good stuff. Anne Mccaffery, if you like dragons and science fiction. George Orwell is good if you like books that have political messages in them.I recommend the book Animal Farm, its really good. Edgar Allen Poe, if you have a dark side. Chaucer is pretty good, a little dry to me, but classic. Thats all I can think of right now, but I hope you enjoy some the selctions I've Listed.
By the way, one of the best books, in my opinion by Shakespeare, is Julius Caesar, either that or As you like it.

WTF answered Friday November 19 2004, 4:58 pm: for a series, Stephen King's Dark Tower series is very good. otherwise, read Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, or anything by Kurt Vonnegut (Cat's Cradle is his best IMO) [ WTF's advice column | Ask WTF A Question ]
xpianogirl89x answered Wednesday November 17 2004, 9:29 pm: Well it sorta depends on what books you're into.. My favorite book of all time is "Sabriel" by Garth Nix.. It's kind of a fantasy book I guess you could call it. There's also in that series "Lireal" which is also awesome and "Abhorsen" which I haven't read yet. You have to read them in the order I said though otherwise they won't make any sense... I also like "Wicked" It's about the life of the wicked witch in the wizard of oz, it's extremely long though.. Have fun reading! and good luck with your family problems...
Sherry answered Wednesday November 17 2004, 4:31 pm: Romance/drama books. Nicholas Sparks. He wrote the books that turned into movies like The Notebook, Walk to remember, and Message in a bottle. Their so awesome! You'll be sure to cry every time! [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]
Siren_Cytherea answered Monday November 15 2004, 9:22 pm: Hey! I love to read too. I can go through like..8 books in two days, or less. Lol. I know what you mean. I reccomend anything by Meg Cabot or Jenny Carroll(sp?). I reccomend the Mediator series in particular, but I like supernatural/fantasy-type books. I also like Tamora Pierce's books. Go for the Lioness Quartet, the Immortals, and...oh what was it...oh yeah. Protector of the Small. All of those are series, connected with each other in that order. Those are long - they should keep you in books for awhile if you like them, lol.
Oh, and Teen Idol is a particularly good book, too. Meg Cabot, I believe. Funny.
I hope this helps!
