I've got shoulderlength fine brown hair. I was stupid and my round bristle brush got rolled up in it and i can't get it out. How do i get it out

Well you could pull it out but that would hurt. Cutting it out would leave a big gap in your hair. So the best way is to go into the shower. Get your hair completely wet and put some conditioner in it. This will help you ease it out. Apply as much as you need. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

You have to make sure your picture is in an uploadable (I highly doubt that's a real word) format. Try saving as a GIF*. Then go to profile settings and hit upload picture and find the picture you want. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

I've started using a gothic appearence. (I dressed in black a lot and use dark black make-up on my eyes and either brown or red lipstick.) Nobody even understand why I'm doing it. I'm sort of doing it as an expirement. (Sorry if I spelled that wrong.)It freaks out my teachers, classmates call me a vampire, my boyfriend acts scared of me, and my parents don't like anything about my new look. All I've changed is how I look. I don't want to lose my friends just for the sake of looking gothic. But, if they can't accept how I want to look, are they real friends? What should I do? Advice please!

No, they are not real friends. You should talk to your friends, family, boyfriend, and other people close to you who are acting different because of your new look. If you are acting exactly the same then they are caring too much about your apperance. If tthey still act weird get some new friends. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

Yes. You need AIM though. What you do is open a direct IM (one usually used for pictures). Once you are directly connect click on the button again that opens direct IMs. Now you can search for the recording. But you have to have saved it first. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

You can lie but if they find out they probably won't trust you anymore. So try to show them that you are responsibable (I forget how to spell today sorry) and that you won't do anything you would regert. Then talk to them that you feel you are ready for a boyfriend and that you will take things slow. And show them you don't just want one for the stupid stero-types but you want one because you have strong emotions for them. But you are young and don't need to deal with this yet. You just ask. Why don't you think your dad will let you go? If you know because it's something really wrong then don't go. Just asking should work. Example: "Dad can I go to this party today?" It's as easy as that.

The best way to strech to get your leg higher and work on your kick may sound a little strange but it works. What you do is put your back aganist the wall and have your legs come out in a sitting fashion. If you want you can kick in that position is sometimes helps, but its not nessicary. Make sure your tighes (sp?) are parrell to the floor. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

Eat a diet rich in calicum and take in plenty of vitamn D. This should help your bones become bigger and stronger. During ossification you will grow taller. Don't be too worried because you are a good height for your age. I'm even shorter. Also your putitery (sp?) gland works slowly. In time you will be tall. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

I have a friend. I met her in September and she was really nice for about a month and then she started hitting me for no apparent reason. Supposedly her dad "abuses her" but no physically, and whenever she hits me she blames it on that and her insomnia. Her insomnia is cured, and if she's smart enough to blame her problems on her dad, I think she's smart enough not to do it. So it's been months now, and she's bruised me a lot, in the face once. She threatens people and blames it on me when I get beaten and whenever I get a bruise she says "It prolly just something stupid you did to yourself to blame on me." So she started talking about killing people, one of them happens to be my major crush who I would do anything for, but I can't tell her or she'll kill me. (different problem) So I went to my principal because she'll end up killing someone, and we got into a fight. The principal said she's not worth it and to stop talking to her. She said she's sorry but I don't believe it, but I'm scared she's going the beat me if I tell her. I can't ignore her forever. What should I do?

Don't take your princepal's answer for an answer. She needs to get help. Like anger mangament. There is probably something wrong with her mind (unbalance chemicals or something) that makes her this way. She needs to get on medication. Go to a parent or guidence consuler so she can't hurt anyone. Get her help. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

I've gotten a couple ridiculous questions in my inbox lately- disgusting questions and some that, i just don't have any idea what to say to them. but i feel bad just not answering these people. does anyone else have this problem?

Yes. You can either answer their question the best you can and ask them not to ask something like that again or just reject it. I'm sorry but that's all you can do. You can't really set a limit on questions or something. Try asking admin.

Am I the only one that believes people should type correctly when asking a question? Is there some way to create something that would change words that were "Chatspeak" to English?
For example:

there is dis boi, i relli relli like him! wat do i do?

Would become:

There is this boy, I really, really, like him! What do I do?

I know that is a dumb question to start with, but it's an example. I don't know how to create a program that would change the "fake" words into "real" words.. if you know, and would share, you rock!

I agree with you. On AIM I sometimes talk like a little differently but just abverations. I can not stand it when people make a work the same lenght (sp?) if not longer just to make it look "cool". I love the idea of making a software; however, it would be extremely hard. Maybe you can try making a website. Then you can send the link to people and it teaches them to type in English or something. I know it's not much but I hope I helped a little. ♥ good luck

Hey! Ok, I have to give a speech on in 2 weeks about the Great Wall of China. We're studying China and you got a list of things you could make your speech about and I picked the Great Wall. You were allowed to have a partner, but only one of my friends is in my class, and she's friends with another girl, so they're partners. I have to give a speech by myself, and I'm so terrified. I've never liked speeches. It's so hard and I always forget what I'm supposed to say, even if I've rehearsed it a thousand times! And to make things worse, it has to be a MINIMUM of 5 minutes. I'm so scared and don't know what to do. Does anyone have any tips on not being scared? And any good ways to memorize a good speech? And also, any good sites about the Great Wall would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

I give public annoucments and speeches often so I can help you here. I would say the best thing to do in your speech is eye contact. It may be hard for you to scan your eyes around the room then go back to your paper or remember what your saying so look above everyones heads at a spot on the wall. That way it will look like you are making eye cantact and you can keep your place. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

No, it is not right. Squaring a number is multipling it by itself. You can look at it these ways:

4y is like saying 4 times y. So you do y times y. Then 4 times y. Then add the products together. The sum does not add up to 6 times y.

For the method above try inserting parenthesis (sp?). That would make it look like this (y*y) + (4*y).

OR

Look at it as there are for sets of y. Or for the y squared part it is y sets of y. So add y sets of y and 4 sets of y together. This does not equal 6 sets of y.
